We recently returned from a trip to Egypt, and during our stay in Cairo, we chose the Zamalek Hilton. From start to finish, our experience exceeded all expectations. Situated in a peaceful area on Zamalek Island with views of the Nile, the hotel’s location couldn’t be better for anyone looking for a calm retreat within Cairo. Our arrival was seamless—we checked in around 8 p.m., and the process was flawless. To our surprise, we were informed of an upgrade, which we assumed was simply to a higher floor. Instead, we were given a massive suite on the 23rd floor, complete with three spacious bedrooms and balconies offering stunning views of the Nile. The suite was immaculately clean, remarkably quiet, and provided a restful atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. Housekeeping was attentive, providing fresh bottled water daily and keeping the space spotless. The Hilton Zamalek also offers delightful restaurants where we enjoyed meals accompanied by gracious, attentive service. The pool area was another highlight, beautifully positioned with views of the Nile, adding a relaxing spot to unwind. First of all I was extremely grateful to be upgraded due to the insurmountable noise of my first room on the third floor nile view. The party boats are out of control sound wise and this can go on until 5-6am. The manager upgraded me to a 2 bedroom apartment on the 21st floor and I was incredibly grateful for his kindness. Most of the staff is extremely kind and welcoming. However the pool is sadly full of people with so many small children that are left to scream and play and do whatever they want. This was multiple families and the staff said nothing. The big group of women 'watching' them where not consuming any food or beverage and occupied most of the lounges most of the day. There was very little service poolside, and it was also very dirty and unkept. Such a shame as the pool is beautiful and the view of the nile so romantic. That area could be an incredible asset to the hotel, instead of being abandoned this way. The restaurant food is also very average, much of the breakfast menu was uneatable and low quality. The restaurant staff is very inattentive. The rooms are old and to some extent that is nice as they are more spacious than many more contemporary hotels and they still have a romantic quality. The hotel would greatly benefit from a renovation and a re-think of the restaurant menu, pool lounge area and pool rules. Aside from that I felt safe and grateful the people who work at the hotel are so thoughtful and genuinely care about the guests.

Pool was closed due to maintenance but Hazem gave us an upgraded room with amazing rooms! He was very helpful and made our stay amazing. We are planning on returning to the same hotel because of him even though the pool and area on the Nile is closed for maintence!

I loved my stay at this hilton. The staff took very good care of me. I wish had gotten there names but everyone was so nice and accomidating. I booked a sunrise camel ride at the pyramids that had a driver pick me up at 5:00am in the morning and the security guard( older gentleman) went to make sure my driver was legit before letting me in the car. The food was great and the lounge was relaxing. If i had one complaint js that i hate that the pool closes when the sun goes down. I would have loved to go in the jacuzzi after a long day of tours.other than that if i ever find myself in cairo one day i would consider coming back. Great staff, walking distance to bars, and very secure.

It was disgusting and dirty! Even after requesting for it to be cleaned it was still dirty. Smelled horrible, sheets were dirty, I found hair in my bathroom tub, my sink was clogged.

The location is good and safe. The hotel is in need of renovation - not just the public areas and the pool that is currently happening, but also the bedrooms , not as clean as it should be. The cotton bedding was worn out and not white anymore. I do not like the staff allowing people to smoke in eating area - even in egypt.

Fiz a reserva de um quarto triplo, infelizmente tive muitos problemas com o hotel, eles insistiram em manter tens para duas pessoas e éramos três. foram dias de confusão, faltando das de toalha, travesseiro, cobertor. Chegamos e o banheiro tinha fios de cabelo na banheira, não foi limpo direito. durante a estadia acompanhei a limpeza um dia, somente troca de roupa de cama, não passou um pano com desinfetante em nada, não limpou o banheiro com álcool, e não aspirou o carpete, a limpeza não demorou 5 minutos. fiquei assustado, um quarto com 3 pessoas, no padrão Hilton e esse tipo de limpeza, se eu não coloco o prato sujo para fora nem isso tinha sido recolhido, Reclamei com o gerente e pouco adiantou, no terceiro dia resolveram os problemas dos itens para 3 pessoas, mas a limpeza, no tempo que fiquei 6 diárias eu nem conheci o aspirador de pó de um hotel todo carpetado. Nunca mais ! não vale o preço, fique atento.

From the Nile view room, you get to see the river glow golden with the sunrise and sunset. Mr. Amr at the front desk quickly gave me another room when mine was still being cleaned. I was super tired from traveling, so that really helped. He kept smiling the whole time and handled everything like a total pro.

Instead, we were given a massive suite on the 23rd floor, complete with three spacious bedrooms and balconies offering stunning views of the Nile. Housekeeping was attentive, providing fresh bottled water daily and keeping the space spotless. First of all I was extremely grateful to be upgraded due to the insurmountable noise of my first room on the third floor nile view. The party boats are out of control sound wise and this can go on until 5-6am. The manager upgraded me to a 2 bedroom apartment on the 21st floor and I was incredibly grateful for his kindness. Most of the staff is extremely kind and welcoming. However the pool is sadly full of people with so many small children that are left to scream and play and do whatever they want. This was multiple families and the staff said nothing. The big group of women 'watching' them where not consuming any food or beverage and occupied most of the lounges most of the day. There was very little service poolside, and it was also very dirty and unkept. Such a shame as the pool is beautiful and the view of the nile so romantic. That area could be an incredible asset to the hotel, instead of being abandoned this way. The restaurant food is also very average, much of the breakfast menu was uneatable and low quality. The restaurant staff is very inattentive. The rooms are old and to some extent that is nice as they are more spacious than many more contemporary hotels and they still have a romantic quality. The hotel would greatly benefit from a renovation and a re-think of the restaurant menu, pool lounge area and pool rules. Aside from that I felt safe and grateful the people who work at the hotel are so thoughtful and genuinely care about the guests.

L'hôtel est en effet vieillot mais bien placé et très sécurisé. Le petit dej n'est pas fou...les pancakes sont secs....par contre nous avions une suite de 280 M2 au 26 ème étage (chambre 2602) avec une vue de fou, c'est pour cette raison que nous avions choisi cet hôtel.on voyait meme les pyramides...

From the Nile view room, you get to see the river glow golden with the sunrise and sunset. Mr. Amr at the front desk quickly gave me another room when mine was still being cleaned. I was super tired from traveling, so that really helped. He kept smiling the whole time and handled everything like a total pro.

Considering it was a Hilton. It was a GREAT Disappointment. It was very outdated. The lobby was poorly lighted. When we arrived our rooms were not ready. We waited nearly 45 minutes. As well the package included breakfast. But, because we checked in “Early “ we were charged $17.00 per person for the Continental Breakfast Options. The food was not good. However the staff was amazing I would not recommend this hotel

Firstly I would like to say a BIG thank you to Farida the duty manager, she is a star, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. She also suggested few things which made our trip even more memorable. The views from our suite was incredible especially at night and we enjoyed our stay. Although the property can go with some modernisation but the service and help provided was exceptional.

We received a very warm welcome and were given the Royal treatment. The Zamalek was extremely clean and decked for the holidays. The moment we arrived we felt comfortable. Once we entered into our generous and extremely clean and organized rooms we were at ease. Big thanks to Ibraheim, Zeinab, and Hazem for making our arrival so inviting.

We were visiting Cairo for 2 days and chose Hilton Zamalek for spending our stay. Hotel is near to different embassies and consulates therefore it felt safe in the surrounding. 10/10 We asked for an early check in with breakfast included, the kind personel helped us with our request but arranged a room with a city view which i can not say the best view but it was alright. 9/10 The room, sheets and bathroom was mostly clean with 8/10 rating. Breakfast had a rich option and the serving room is located near Nile river which is amazing scene 10/10 For the pyramid tour we booked from the reception a full day program including pyramids and national museum for 280$ for two pax. I can not say its worth of this price but it was easier than exploring this area individually. Tips are not included and i dont find very kind that tour guides remind this explicitely. Anyway tours are optional and agency is responsible, my rating is 6/10 On our last day we wanted to leave our luggages at the reception to explore more of the city so the kind reception helped us with them, which i find very well. 10/10 During the stay, the room was quite enough to rest and sleep which is a privelege considering the loud Cairo streets 10/10 My overall expression is 9/10 total recommended

Located in the quiet and safe neighbourhood of Zamalek, overlooking the river Nile. It was a clean and safe hotel. Although the property is in need of repairs, and although it was not necessarily one of the best Hiltons we have stayed in, the staff nonetheless did their best to address whatever issue came up during our stay. The assistant front desk manager (Ibrahim Ahmed Shaltoot) was particularly helpful and caring when we complained about a maintenance issue with the room and the slight injury my wife suffered. The only issue that might ne worth looking into, is the smell of smoke coming in through the air conditioning in a non smoking room, which was acute when the AC is above a certain temperature. Thank you to the following people for their hospitality: The checkin staff (Hazim), The restaurant staff (Mahmood, Hanen, Abanoud) and Hassan the room service manager. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Very friendly staff, absolute perfect location on quite safe street and best neighbourhood, great view and nice breakfast. It’s an older hotel - which I find charming - but also means the interior of room does not seems super clean.

日本食レストランのマキノはかなり美味でした。スタッフの対応も良かった。 朝食も美味しく眺めても良い。残念ながらバスルームはシャワーの量が少ないし排水もダメ。洗面台も広くドライヤーの風量も良かった。ベッドも良かった。窓を開けていたらハエが。ホテル周辺は治安も良く散策しても安心だしスーパーもオシャレな雑貨屋もあり楽しかった。惜しむべきはバスルームの排水。

Most of the staff is extremely kind and welcoming. However the pool is sadly full of people with so many small children that are left to scream and play and do whatever they want. This was multiple families and the staff said nothing. The big group of women 'watching' them where not consuming any food or beverage and occupied most of the lounges most of the day. There was very little service poolside, and it was also very dirty and unkept. Such a shame as the pool is beautiful and the view of the nile so romantic. That area could be an incredible asset to the hotel, instead of being abandoned this way. The restaurant food is also very average, much of the breakfast menu was uneatable and low quality. The restaurant staff is very inattentive. The rooms are old and to some extent that is nice as they are more spacious than many more contemporary hotels and they still have a romantic quality. The hotel would greatly benefit from a renovation and a re-think of the restaurant menu, pool lounge area and pool rules. Aside from that I felt safe and grateful the people who work at the hotel are so thoughtful and genuinely care about the guests.

Wir hatten ein tolle Zeit im Hilton Zamalek. Der Service ist sehr gut, die Massagen absolut empfehlenswert. Es gibt zwei Restaurants, wobei wir nur das Terrassenrestaurant besuchten Das Essen dort war gut. Auch Salate waren gut verträglich!!. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat allerdings alle Erwartungen überrtroffen !! Gebäude und Mobiliar ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem gut und sauber. Die Umgebung wird durch viele Botschaften zum sicheren Ort-auch für allein reisende Frauen kein Problem. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I loved my stay at this hilton. The staff took very good care of me. I wish had gotten there names but everyone was so nice and accomidating. I booked a sunrise camel ride at the pyramids that had a driver pick me up at 5:00am in the morning and the security guard( older gentleman) went to make sure my driver was legit before letting me in the car. The food was great and the lounge was relaxing. If i had one complaint js that i hate that the pool closes when the sun goes down. I would have loved to go in the jacuzzi after a long day of tours.other than that if i ever find myself in cairo one day i would consider coming back. Great staff, walking distance to bars, and very secure.

L'hôtel est en effet vieillot mais bien placé et très sécurisé. Le petit dej n'est pas fou...les pancakes sont secs....par contre nous avions une suite de 280 M2 au 26 ème étage (chambre 2602) avec une vue de fou, c'est pour cette raison que nous avions choisi cet hôtel.on voyait meme les pyramides...

The location is great, 10 mins walk to several cafes, restaurants and shops. There is also a cafe outside the hotel where you can buy nice coffee and brunch. The rooms are a bit outdated but if you are lucky there are some room a bit better with huge balcony! The breakfast is not good and needs to be improved. The staff are friendly.
