Bear Mount Inn & Suites

Was a nice room, but it was a kitchenette without a stove. There were no utensils no pots, pans, plates or silverware. Usually, there’s a blow dryer there was none. There was a heavy thunderstorm and it screwed up the pool. They were not able to get the pool straightened out We rented the room for 10 days and left after nine For seven of those days, we had no pool Looks like it was too much stress on a couple of people Not enough personnel to be able to maintain everything

The property manager was very rude, not very helpful. No ice available anywhere on the property. Snack and drink machines didn't work. Pool walls were covered with algae. Washer and dryer didn't work. Keying into our room didn't work half the time, had to have an employee come up to assist 3 times the the manager said I need to figure out how to work it, one of the employees had to hit it several times to get it to work.

When we arrived we got to the room and there was no microwave and the refrigerator was not working. The manager did give us another room. It does not have a ice machine. I will not stay at this hotel anymore.

Didn’t not stay black mold under sink equipment was in bad shape and the room smelled like in the as in a flood also the pool was green water and the property and room didn’t look like that on your website you need to investigate this hotel because it should not be on hotels.com. Sorry don’t have pictures I was so upset that I forgot to take them

The room was okay. The floors needs mopped and the pool was green. Not just green algae on the side of pools.

Raj was outstanding. He was friendly, kind and helpful while we were staying here. The room was very clean, cold and quiet. We loved that this place is pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay here. We will be back.

Kudos to the excellent photographer that made the pool look bigger and the rooms/beds look bigger because it is a small, unkept pool with a small room. The jetted tub was nice but leaked continuously. The beds were full sized although described as larger queens. The towels are really hand towels and I could not get more until 9am the next day making it impossible for everyone to shower. We ended up buying beach towels. The tv is small. I did like not being woken by maid service but I didn’t like that the rooms were never cleaned nor refreshed with tp/towels. Although located at the strip in walking distance, I never found an elevator to the 3rd floor and had to take stairs as an amputee, which made it miserable for me to come and go from my room. It did have a ramp down at floor 2. I will not reserve again and I would not recommend booking the Bear Mount Inn rooms that are lower motel quality with poor service. Not a family friendly hotel in my opinion as I observed drug-use downstairs by stairwell. It is worth paying extra not to stay here!!!

The manager told me that they ran my card at 8 o’clock and since it denied my card, they canceled my reservation so they didn’t even want to give me a room. So we pretty much had to bake him to give us a room for three nights we got into the room. The outlet by the bed did not work. The bedside lamp did not work. The coffee pot looks like it has been sitting there for a couple months without being used or cleaned, the pool is super small. There was algae or something built up on all the sides of the walls. Ashford clean towels since I was told the housekeeping will not go in the room once we check in they told me there was no clean towels at all on the property. If I did not have two young kids with me I would’ve went somewhere else for my trip. Do not go here. Very disappointed. The best part of this hotel is Krispy Kreme is right next-door because they do not offer breakfast even though on the hotels website it says they offer breakfast. Do not waste your money somewhere else.

We had to wait to for someone to come to the desk after we had to call her. We had to wait for they to clean a room. Which was still dirty my white socks were black from walking on the floor

Dirty bedding no help towns were dirty only one person cleaning, checking people in and laundry

COCKROACHES!! VERY VERY NASTY SHEETS!!!! NEVER BEEN WASHED PEE, MAKEUP, CHEETOS AND ALOT OF STAINS ON THEM. THE REFRIGERATOR WAS FILTHY, THE VENTS IN THE BATHROOM HAD MOLD AND WATER STAINS AROUND IT ALSO HAD POOP ON THE WALLS, MOLD ON THE CEILING.. DUCK TAPE AROUND THE DOOR. WHEN I CALLED THE MANAGER SHE ACTED LIKE THIS IS OK AND NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT. I ASKED FOR A REFUND SHE LOOK AT HER HUSBAND AND LOOKED BACK AND SAID THIS IS NON REFUNDABLE...

Smelled like pee. Not sanitary

The staff was severely understaffed. Both my rooms were not clean. That includes toilet, bathtub, sinks, floors, and roaches on the floors. An old Ruth brush, and tooth paste left over from a previous stay. The worst room I have even rented in my lifetime. A one star rating is a far stretch, DO NOT stay here.

This place was honestly the most disgusting place I have ever came across, I don’t know how it hasn’t been shut down between the bed bugs and the literal live roach crawling on the wall when we first walked in. As soon as we got our keys we turned them back in and booked another hotel room. Overall a very unsafe and unsanitary environment.

I had a dog with me so i couldn't take him out because i would have to call this lady to get back in my room or leave my door open for more bugs to get in. I tried to tough it out, but i left after one night, even though i booked 3 nights, threw the clothes away i wore during the stay. During check out i was informed there was no early check out refund. I didn't want to argue at this point, i just wanted to leave. A couldn't find any other lodging nearby so i just came home. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

The room was dirty! Immediately smelled like urine as soon as we entered. Asked about their refund policy, and obviously there was no refund, so we were stuck. We asked them to come clean it since we had to stay. They “mopped” the floor, but still smelled like pee all around the toilet. The sheets still had paw prints from the last guests, the clean towels had toothpaste on them. All of this was within 10 minutes of being there. Then we discovered the outlet by the beds weren’t attached to the wall, they’d push into the wall when you plugged your charger in. Electrical taped wires running down the wall in the. Piles of garbage and appliances around the side of the hotel. The beds are hard, the sheets are thin, and the pillows are uncomfortable. There’s black mold in the shower and above the mirror. There’s a mildew smell if the ac isn’t kept below 68°. There is NOT a breakfast like they promise, not that you’d want to eat there anyway. They never come to clean the room or give fresh towels. The only positive I can come up with is that the AC does blow cold, and the fridge works.Honestly, I’d rather idle the van all weekend and sleep on a mattress in there than stay at this hotel again. Rude management, poor upkeep, terrible place to stay. I realize you get what you pay for, but there’s also a basic standard that should be met, and this place doesn’t meet it. Ended up eating the last night of our stay and leaving early because I couldn’t stand one more night on the bed. 0/10

Dirty. Just just dirty. There was hair all over the bed shower and floor. The floor was so dirty the little white rug turned yellow when I laid led it down to get out of the shower. If there had been any other hotels with vacancies I would have just left and lost my money. The curtains where full of holes and broken so the wouldn’t close It was loud in the parking lots. Worst place I have ever stayed. I don’t mind old but the lack of cleaning and maintenance was terrible

Easy access to and from all of the attractions in the area. We had a quiet, well kept room at the top of the ramp, No stairs! 😀.

Great location- the first room we were assigned had not been cleaned so they changed our room and gave us a bunkbed room. My kids appreciated the bunk but it was so noisy all night. Apparently my son moves often and the bed was squeaky. We only had two towels but they gave us a couple extra when we asked. The sheets and blankets were all stained. The water temperature was barely warm. I think the room had been cleaned and/or mopped with a sour rag. The room had an odor that was quite unpleasant but I didn't want to complain about a second room so we made do.

It’s nothing like the pictures show online. The rooms are old and not the cleanest. The pictures online are deceiving. There’s a lamp between the beds and that’s all the light you have in the actual room part. There’s a light in the bathroom and then one at the sink. Only one sink had hot water. You had to use the other one for that. There’s not very much water pressure in the shower. You get what you pay for. It was cheap and the room was cheap. I wouldn’t stay for more than 2 nights. If it were going to be a longer stay we would have chose another hotel.

Room was clean but walls in need of repair. Condensatio n around window caused floor to be wet with large puddles. Bathroom door had strip of wood mussing. Mildings in bad shape.

Had a family suite and it was told to me it was two room connected. Nope. One double bed and a double bed twin bunk bed. Bathroom didn’t lock double sink was in room which was fine but both sinks turned on when turned on one. Door frame metal was exposed outlets were very loose and my cables didn’t stay in place correctly.

The pics do not look like the rooms. Beds are extremely hard but were clean. The floor could have used a good sweeping and mopping. There were kids clothes in the dresser. Could have been left by previous guest. It wasn't really a big deal. The AC was cold which was great. The employees were nice.

The parking lot is not maintained and full of garbage and construction trucks that don't belong there. It looks like the current guests actually live there. Three floors and no direct way to the top floor. The staff is a masked housekeeper that doesn't talk to you and a woman at another location on the phone. Diy Construction going on every floor every room. There's no insulation so you can hear everything. Conversations, the traffic, the holes they drill in the doors and walls. When we checked in they decided to move the room construction to the one next to us and started drilling holes in the wall at 8pm. Stayed there a total of 35 minutes before leaving to stay at a safe property.

Everything was horrible never seen a metal bunkbed n a hotel room no hot water to shower with thought the ac unit would fall out the wall. Beds were horri le didnt even sleep.

The TV in the room did not work. When I let them know they immediately checked it out and discovered the outlet was bad. We were then given a different room. In that room, the wall seemed to be either rotting or mildewed. There were also what appeared to be two wood roaches. I didn’t go back to the office to address this issue although I probably should have. I will say that the lady at the check in desk was extremely friendly and nice.

The room was ok, big bed and tv. There was a mini fridge but it didn’t get anything cold. The ac unit sounded like it was dying. The bathroom was really small and the door didn’t close, got stuck on the floor and wouldn’t move after so far. And the water pressure in the shower was awful, felt like you were pouring a cup of water on your head constantly. Otherwise the room was ok. One day we left to go explore. And there was a guy walking around rooms getting trash, pretty sure he went into ours, didn’t get any trash, left a light on that we turned off and the room smelled like weed for a while. Which was really unsettling. Overall would not come here again, did save us some money but not worth it.

This property overcharged me $5.00 more than what I was supposed to pay. NO breakfast as described!!!!!! NO housekeeping during my whole two days there. NO ice machine!!!!! I was told to avoid this motel before checking in but since I already had reservations I figured I would go ahead and stay. Checkin was RUDE!!!

Not ideal staff was nice but we didnt have any towels in room and door lock stopped working so we had to get let in everytime we came back to the room

Clean, safe, attentive staff/cameras.

The management at the Bear Mount Inn and Suites were very friendly and kind. They were happy to provide extra towels or any other necessity when requested. We came during the busy holiday season, and they helped save our trip by providing us a room with an accommodation for our pet as well. It’s not the fanciest hotel, but it has heart.

Mark was very knowledgeable and helpful for my trip and was eager to answer any questions I had! Will be back to stay here!

Check in staff was not very friendly. Their website claimed free continental breakfast, however, nothing was available, not even an on the go breakfast. Very deceiving!

They stole my money! Do not recommend I checked in and checked out not even 20 mins later due to the condition of the rooms and the man told me I would get a refund ( which I have him saying on audio and a video recording). I have never received my refund like promised and they are trying to fight the dispute with my bank. DO NOT STAY HERE.

It was clean and near shopping and restaurants, but was a little noisy due to the traffic, and was a bit overpriced for being outdated. Other than that, I'd probably stay there again.

Extreme courteous, accommodating, and just overall kind. The property even has a very nice and convenient wheelchair ramp going to the second floor. Right across from ripleys amusement park and arcade, the kids were entertained and close by. Its at the end of the strip so its easy to get on and off the strip in your vehicle going either direction. We will most certainly be back.

Homless sleeping in parking lot. Door lock broken. No breakfast advertised continental breakfast. Loud at all hours. Broken furniture and appliances scattered around property. Ac didn't cool and was emitting a grinding sound. Plaster was falling off inside room due to wayer damage. Room smelled like cigarettes. Checked out a day early couldn't stay there.
