No ice on 1st or 2nd floor. 3rd floor has CE machine worked but had black trash in ice. Had to go to 4th floor (we were on 1st) to get clean ice. Bathroom floor was dangerously slick. Took a long line to get hot water in shower, only like warm in sink. Also got tired of having to switch off of CNN every time we turned on TV. Bad choice for a default channel. Marvy & lady at checkout were as gracious & helpful as possible.

The property is under construction. It is in need of a renovation. It’s dated in terms of decor. The room I was in was pedestrian in character. The shade on the desk was broken. There is no food service and the staff was not prepared to recommend a place to eat. An expensive place to stay given the current state of the property. Can’t figure out how anyone could give it a rating of 9! More like a 5.

This hotel is under construction! The rooms are nice and new but the lobby (as of writing this) was in disarray. No breakfast was available. The elevators weren't working so we used the stairs. The outside doors were unlocked and the staircase wasn't marked so it didn't feel super safe.

When I returned from breakfast, I noticed a little brown bug crawling across the white sheets of my bed. I quickly tried to get a picture of it before it went down behind the mattresses. I did, however, get a good look at it and googled bed bugs. To my disappointment, it was indeed a bed bug! Not a doubt. We stayed in room 312. I am currently seeking a refund through Hotels.com. Bed bugs are a major issue and problem should be investigated immediately. Please update me on status of refund. Thank you.

The carpeted floors felt gross. I had to lay the towels down like rugs. There were questionable brown spots on the walls, thick layer of dust on the balance above the window. The ac unit probably needs a new air filter because it smelled like dirty socks. All the lamps started flickering randomly. Wouldn’t recommend.

Two bottled waters were provided upon check in at no cost. Cons: This property is in need of some upgrades. Everything is very aged. Carpet in hallways is dirty and worn. Room has a old smell to it. Bedskirt was too big and laid on the floor. Sheet was too small and came off the corners easily. Wallpaper peeling in bathroom. No soap in bathroom but was able to retrieve some from the front desk. Door keys stopped working after only a couple hours. However front desk corrected this easily.

The third floor hallway and my first room had a strong musty mildew smell. I found lots of hair and a few stains on my bed sheets when I opened the bed up. In my first room I had two queen beds. The first bed the sheets were already wrinkled & not tightly made like the other - this is the one that had the most hair on it. The first room was also extremely musty smelling. When I moved to my upgraded room at 302 there continued to be hair throughout the room and stains on the sheets. There was also black fuzzy mold in the shower which made it look like it actually hadn’t been clean or sanitized and quite a while. The reason I chose my stay at the Hilton at Hampton Inn was because I expected there to be absolutely zero issues with sanitation or cleanliness. I was pretty disappointed with this aspect of my stay.

Everything was fine, I don’t mind staying again. But I did tell them the Carpet in our room was Filthy and needed to be cleaned or replaced. We don’t generally on the first floor and I guess I’m wishing we had not, because of the carpet in that room. I just hope our Socks will come clean.

Everything was fresh clean and new! The staff was inviting at check in and check out. Breakfast was great and coffee was fresh. The only thing I’d change is the showerhead and water temp. The shower head is like chasing water to find the stream and the water wasn’t close to hot. Other than that great stay!

The air conditioning was only working in the lobby. The hallways were 81 degrees, and very humid. The room "window unit" was working, but could not keep up to cool the room very much. Not a real comfortable stay. The man at the front counter, I think his name was Marvis, he did all he could do, but the equipment at the hotel would not cooperate. He called maintenance and the manager and could not reach either one. Breakfast was something to eat, but I wouldn\'t go out of my way for it.

We reserved the room because the description states it sleeps 5. When we checked in, the front desk staff reported it only slept 4. No option for a rollaway bed. So we crammed everyone in 2 beds. The A/C unit made a very loud dripping noise all night which kept waking us. Our stay was not restful.

Poor air conditioning, no daily house keeping, no safe in room, poor mattress, and uncomfortable seating in the breakfast area. The food served durning breakfast was nothing special, just adequate. There must be better choices in Carrollton. Next time thru I’ll have to research it instead of taking it for granted and booking the Hampton Inn

The carpet in the hall ways was loose and appeared dirty or old on floor two. Carpet in room needed cleaning. Overall, this inn needs refurbishing. The dining area was not kept clean. Food was left on the floor and tables not cleaned regularly after people left. The food staff was up at the counter talking with others rather than back in the food area taking care of things. I had to walk up to the counter and ask for service. Good staff were more interested in talking with friends than taking care of their job.

When I see the name Hampton Inn I feel sure that my stay will be up to snuff. Let me begin by saying that I love giving good reviews. This was the first time that I was disappointed. The staff was amazing however the condition of the hotel was not. In our room it looked like water has come threw the ceiling. The plaster had been removed and never repaired. I stared up at this 2 foot by 1 foot disgusting ceiling above my bed. The hallway rug was all rumpled right in front of our door. This building just looks and feels old. When you are paying $200+ per night, I expect the quality to match. It took 3 times to get our keys to finally work... each time returning to the front desk for assistance. After all that... we only got one key to work so my husband and I just made sure we had the working key. Also, my husband asked if room service could come a tidy the bathroom and bring more towels. However, this never happened. Maybe they tried while he was napping. Who knows. But his requst was never granted. Let me tell you about the good stuff. The breakfast was delicious, clean and hot. With a nice selection of standard fare.The staff was very friendly.

It was a quick overnight stay to visit with my grandson. Felt very safe. The remote battues were dead but I had extras. There was a used wash cloth on the shower rod but other than that, it was prefect.

We stayed here one night for our son’s ball tournament and it was nice. The clerk at the desk was nice but not helpful. Breakfast was a train wreck. It seemed like nobody told the staff that the hotel was full so food was scarce BUT they were trying to get food out as quick as possible. Our room was clean. The AC was not able to compete with the 100° weather thankfully we had a box fan. The pillows are flat so if you want neck support, bring your own. Overall it was still a good stay. The boys played in the pool, we used the grill (bring your own utensils) and we used the gym. All were nice.
