This house was perfect for a 50th birthday lady's reunion get away. The house was very clean and well appointed. We loved sitting around the fire pit outside and enjoying the beautiful garden. The house is easy walking distance to all the stores and restaurants in Solvang and a short drive to Los Olivos and the winerys, but we enjoyed the house so much we didn't want to leave.

Excellent!! What a beautiful home and piece of property within short walking distance to everything in Solvang’s adorable town. The kitchen was so well stocked with serving platters, baking and cooking items. A definite must stay if you are looking for a spacious, charming home with your own courtyard retreat. Starting with our introduction to the Dolphin House by Carol everything was a dream. The Dolphin House is even nicer in person than in the pictures. The courtyard has a tranquil bubbling fountain, an outside dining area with a spotless grill and a covered area with a cozy gas fire pit. The location was fantastic - close and walkable to everything in Solvang. I would recommend the Dolphin House to anyone- especially family reunions, friends trip etc… it was perfect!

Dolphin House is well-located in center of Solvang so we could walk to most activities. The house is well-equipped and features a beautifully designed and meticulously maintained garden with reading lounges, 2 outdoor dining areas, bocce court, and an outdoor living room with fire pit. Our stay at Delfin Huset for our son’s wedding week was perfect. The home and grounds are beautiful, clean and convenient to Solvang. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathrooms have more than enough towels and the spaces are perfect for gathering family. Would love to stay there again

This home is so lovely! Plenty of space to spread out, comfortable beds and bedding, well-equipped kitchen, and a beautiful and peaceful yard with several seating areas. Our group enjoyed the fact that there were multiple king beds - always a plus when you have multiple couples. One little thing that was really nice that you don’t often find in rentals is that they have plenty of throw blankets. We enjoyed the fire pit and bocce ball outside, too. Location was perfect - close to everything (walkable) but on a quieter street. We would definitely stay again.

The Hotels are in short walking distance if meeting a wedding party etc. The House is beautiful, clean with every necessity you could need. Clean linens, complete stocked kitchen with pans and utensils to have additional guests for a party. Open garden with adjoining house for additional bedroom with kitchen and living area, bathroom and full en-suite bathroom. Multitude of comfortable outdoor seating with tables, chairs and firepit. Outdoor game of Boche ball or corn hold. It was a paradise and with all of our guests enough private space for each. Washer and Dryer were a great addition,, Highly recommended,

As a group of 6 women who have all traveled a ton over our 55 lives, this is by far one of the most beautiful places we have all ever stayed! The home was immaculate, the space for all of us to spread out was fabulous and the beauty of the home and the yard was stunning! Carol was a great host!! We were so happy to meet her and Kim as well! Everything was so close to the home. Walking distance to the entire town but yet in its' own compound! Loved that the kitchen had everything we needed, bathrooms as well. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and grill numerous times during our stay. Even played a game of Bocce! We traveled with 6 family members to celebrate my Dad’s 90th birthday and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The house was spacious, immaculate and gorgeous. The outdoor area was stunning! We were able to walk restaurants and spent our days wine tasting in Los Olivos. We’ll be back!

Can’t say enough how special this home was for our group. 9 women, celebrating a birthday. Home was immaculate, every amenity suppled. The gardens were so beautiful to enjoy, surrounded by grass..Walking into town a real benefit, for the shoppers, verses anyone staying back to relax. Heating and Air, very modern. Kitchen top appliances. Enough said. Probably can tell we all had a great stay!

Our multi-generational family group had a wonderful stay here. The home and gardens are pristine and gorgeous. There was so much space for everyone to spread out. Attention to detail is obvious. The owner was clear and responsive in her communication. We loved the location because it allowed us to walk into Solvang village easily (and quickly return with our pastry stash, haha!). I would definitely recommend this lovely home!

We are a small group of mostly retired friends who make a wine trip once a year to Paso Robles. This year we decided to enjoy the Solvang area instead. We will definitely be back! This home is absolutely amazing in every way! It is beautiful, clean, roomy, and has every amenity to make you feel at home & pampered. Carol, our hostess, was so welcoming & accommodating. Outstanding property! Our whole family fell in love with it! The whole estate was fastidiously neat and clean, beautifully decorated and landscaped, superbly comfortable, and supplied with everything we needed for a fabulous weekend stay to celebrate our granddaughter's graduation from UCSB! We are immensely grateful to our host Carol for allowing us to enjoy her beautiful property!

Fabulous weekend at the Dolphin House! This was our second stay and it is an amazing home and our host Carol is wonderful! We had a lot going on with wedding events at many different venues, and it was great to have this amazing house to come home to. Plenty of room for our toddler granddaughter to roam and also great quiet rooms for the two babies . Beautiful home

We were a bunch of college friends now in our 40s and this was such a greasy gathering place and location for a quick reunion. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. Beautiful grounds, definitely recommend for large groups or families

The front entrance doesn’t show how beautiful and big inside at all. But once you open the front door, you definitely say “Wow !” It’s nice place for the family or friends gatherings. 👍 We had a wonderful stay there for our daughter’s wedding at the Hill top ranch. The town Solvang is also very charming.

A group of 11 of us stayed at the Dolphin House for a bachelorette weekend of wine tasting. The property and house are beautiful and spacious. It’s right in downtown Solvang so you can walk to anything in town. It’s a quick ride to Los Olivos and the various Santa Ynez wineries. Carol is lovely. She is very communicative and made the entire stay seamless. I highly recommend!!

Our multi-generational family group had a wonderful stay here. The home and gardens are pristine and gorgeous. There was so much space for everyone to spread out. Attention to detail is obvious. The owner was clear and responsive in her communication. We loved the location because it allowed us to walk into Solvang village easily (and quickly return with our pastry stash, haha!). I would definitely recommend this lovely home!

My family and I stayed here for a combined vacation and extended family vacation! This property exceeded all expectations and was perfect for our group of 8 adults! Carol met us when we checked in to ensure we were comfortable with everything and was great with the reservation process! It is walking distance to town and such an oasis! My family loved it and would definitely book again in the future!

We absolutely loved the house, inside and out. We didn’t even know how wonderful it was and how great the location until we got there. Carol, the host was super helpful. We spent a lot of time around the fireplace or the outdoor fire pit. Everything was perfect!!!Now we need another excuse to go to Solvang so we can rent the house again.

Fabulous weekend at the Dolphin House! This was our second stay and it is an amazing home and our host Carol is wonderful! We had a lot going on with wedding events at many different venues, and it was great to have this amazing house to come home to. Plenty of room for our toddler granddaughter to roam and also great quiet rooms for the two babies . Beautiful home

We are a small group of mostly retired friends who make a wine trip once a year to Paso Robles. This year we decided to enjoy the Solvang area instead. We will definitely be back! As a group of 6 women who have all traveled a ton over our 55 lives, this is by far one of the most beautiful places we have all ever stayed! The home was immaculate, the space for all of us to spread out was fabulous and the beauty of the home and the yard was stunning! Carol was a great host!! We were so happy to meet her and Kim as well! Everything was so close to the home. Walking distance to the entire town but yet in its' own compound! Loved that the kitchen had everything we needed, bathrooms as well. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and grill numerous times during our stay. Even played a game of Bocce! This house was perfect for a 50th birthday lady's reunion get away. The house was very clean and well appointed. We loved sitting around the fire pit outside and enjoying the beautiful garden. The house is easy walking distance to all the stores and restaurants in Solvang and a short drive to Los Olivos and the winerys, but we enjoyed the house so much we didn't want to leave.

A group of 11 of us stayed at the Dolphin House for a bachelorette weekend of wine tasting. The property and house are beautiful and spacious. It’s right in downtown Solvang so you can walk to anything in town. It’s a quick ride to Los Olivos and the various Santa Ynez wineries. Carol is lovely. She is very communicative and made the entire stay seamless. I highly recommend!!

Excellent!! What a beautiful home and piece of property within short walking distance to everything in Solvang’s adorable town. The kitchen was so well stocked with serving platters, baking and cooking items. A definite must stay if you are looking for a spacious, charming home with your own courtyard retreat. Starting with our introduction to the Dolphin House by Carol everything was a dream. The Dolphin House is even nicer in person than in the pictures. The courtyard has a tranquil bubbling fountain, an outside dining area with a spotless grill and a covered area with a cozy gas fire pit. The location was fantastic - close and walkable to everything in Solvang. I would recommend the Dolphin House to anyone- especially family reunions, friends trip etc… it was perfect!

This home is so lovely! Plenty of space to spread out, comfortable beds and bedding, well-equipped kitchen, and a beautiful and peaceful yard with several seating areas. Our group enjoyed the fact that there were multiple king beds - always a plus when you have multiple couples. One little thing that was really nice that you don’t often find in rentals is that they have plenty of throw blankets. We enjoyed the fire pit and bocce ball outside, too. Location was perfect - close to everything (walkable) but on a quieter street. We would definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO’s, and this was an exceptionally pleasant experience. It was clean, better than advertised, quiet, spacious, really easy to work with the owners. Would come back to Solvang just to stay here again.

The house is amazing: gorgeous, large, and very well appointed. There is an additional casita with full kitchen, bedroom, 2 bathrooms. All rooms were very clean, well decorated, and every amenity we could ask for. The host was very welcoming and communicative, and made everything easy. The house even had beautiful Christmas decorations with a tree for us.
