Four Points Flex by Sheraton London Kensington Olympia

During my stay, the elevator broke down while I was inside of it. It’s a small elevator and I am very claustrophobic, so when an individual unaffiliated with the hotel walked by, I asked him for assistance. He helped crack the door so I could get some air while we waited for hotel staff to come from home. The help button led me to an options list/announcement(?) that was all in italian, which I don’t speak (I believe this is probably typical considering it is a hotel and services foreigners) so I could not proceed with help from the manufacturer. To get me out of the elevator, the man who had passed by the elevator had to pry open the door (with some assistance from the hotel clerk, and I was able to crawl out. This was a difficult experience for me but I understand that technical errors happen and can be out of control of the property managers. However, without knowing why the breakdown occurred/the last time the elevator was inspected or serviced, it’s tough to know whose fault this was. The only time I was provided any follow-up was the same night as the incident when I was asked to show proof that I had called the helpline, as apparently the property manager was upset with the damage to the elevator. This felt impersonal and I was never given answers or checked in on. Also, construction on the elevator apparently started extremely early the next morning and was loud. Never was this addressed or apologized for. General attitude from the hotel was dismissive and uncaring

Not suitable for wheelchair user. Had a problem with hotel saying Expedia had not paid them therefore I had to pay again!

Clean, quiet, close to everything. But a very small hotel and no amenities.

I can not recommend this hotel enough! Wow, it was so clean and very new. The staff was great. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted. Someone helped us with the luggage up to our room. They offer breakfast in the morning at any extra cost which is convenient if you are on the go. So so so clean and amazing. Another cool aspect of this hotel is that it is super secure. You need a hotel key to even operate the elevator. This hotel feels so luxurious, I was shocked at the price for what you are getting. If you want to stay at a great hotel, stay at this one!

I was really impressed with the quality of this hotel. Only thing missing is a communal tap to fill a water bottle. The member of staff I asked, said the bathroom tap was my only option. Overall an excellent stay in a very convenient location.

Larger trash cans, availability to get ice, more creamers and coffee in the room

I was greeted by amazing hotel staff Sandra, she was so friendly and was able to show me two options for the rooms which i could choose. Everything was so easy from check in to check out. They also have a lugagge room if you need to collect your luggage later!

The entrance was clumsy, very hard to get in or out especially with luggage. There was no fridge in the room. Room was very small. It was only a couple of feet bigger than the bed. Sandra at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The nearest tube station is west Kensington about 7 minute walk from the hotel. There aren’t any restaurants nearby.

Nice room clean bathroom, stains on carpet and changing towels everyday is not eco-friendly. But all in all ok stay, we did not book breakfast

My daughter and I booked a room for Friday night as we had attended the Great Christmas Feast at 13:00 held at the nearby Lost Estate. We did not check in until 16:30 from the outside the hotel is freshly painted and is on a very quite road. On checking in we were met with a welcominhg smile and given room 52 on the lower ground floor. Our room had a window which seemed to lead onto an alleway. The room had aircon which we used as it was quite warm. Our room had a double bed which was fine and spotlessly clean . There is a convenient local Sainsbury within a few minutes walk and we bought bottled water as there was none in our room. After our show we headed to the Hand anf Flower a local Fulleres pub we only had starters and a dessert. Ending our evening with a bottle of wine in the room and a Christmas film. We would happily stay here again.

Staff was exceptional and apologized. Room was underground with no windows. Terrible smell, mold, and large clump of lady’s hair on bathroom floor. Had to check out 15 minutes after arriving and find an alternative hotel.

We found that the hotel felt really unsafe as the rooms on the basement floor with windows were surrounded by high walls making it impossible to escape out of a window in the event of an emergency. The layout of the hotel was very chaotic and the rooms were also very small.

The only flaw we encountered is that the doors are not very noise aisolating, and you can hear all the noises coming from the corridors. Mostly it was annoying in the morning during the cleaning shift.

A small room & bathroom but beautifully formed - loved the air conditioning on these hot nights but we can t comment on eco friendliness as we don t know where the electricity comes from ie solar or other.

I was given a windowless room in the basement of the hotel which is against code in a number of countries. I really don’t think it’s good practice to offer windowless rooms and it was a real disappointment that this hotel is offering them.

Excellent, very helpful staff. Front desk was amazing. Rooms small but always clean. There is A/C!!! A/C worked well and was a lifesaver!!

The bed despite being a double was too small. I'm average height btw The pillows were the lumpiest I've ever experienced. The bathroom extractor fan was noisy and lasted way too long, especially when the bathroom door was in such close proximity to the bed

AC turned off by itself in th middle of the night, hair dryer not working.

Room was clean, updated, but small. HVAC was super quied which is always appreciated. Staff was helpful with advice on underground routes.

Hadde et fint opphold på dette hotellet. Det meste var meget bra. Beliggenheten er kun noen få minutters gange fra undergrunnsstasjonen, rommet rent og fint. hyggelig betjening. Frokosten er helt grei. Det eneste som jeg ikke likte var at det var ganske lytt på rommet. Man hørte andre gå og prate i gangen ganske tydelig. Hotellet kan anbefales!

The staff were very courteous, pleasant and seemed genuinely happy to help or answer questions. Special shout out to Koushik and the other front desk team members who were extremely welcoming. The room was small (I would chose a larger option next time) but very clean and well laid out.

Amazing stay! This is my new favorite place in West Kensington! The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was extremely clean. The breakfast was delicious. The price matched exactly what I received. What I loved in particular is that the breakfast options are quick and easy for those of who're on a business trip and don't have long to decide. Thank you to the staff for such a pleasant stay and I look forward to returning!

Turned away with servic animal after been checked in the night befor, refund never recived and disabled guest made to prove disabilitys through doctors calls why away to take mind off appointments and doctors in the first place the hotel also showed up pet friendly we were checked in with our dog and staf said we should of made the aware ?? Even tho staff addresed dog as we checked in

In the morning the system still wasn't working, rude staff at a very basic breakfast. Throughout the night endless loud noises (like someone was hoovering above me, lots of people in the hallways). Felt more like a hostel than a hotel.

I like the hotel, but I didn't quite like some of the staff. Some of them, I feel didn't have an idea on things I ask about like if we can leave our luggage behind while we're traveling elsewhere in the UK, it was weird that the first person I asked didn't know and we were told that she needed to ask the manager. There were also issues about me transferring to another room after my first night, which was alright, but again the staff in the morning seemed not to know about it the following day, so it took a while and many conversations. I just feel that the staff can practice better handing off information to one another so they can address customer concerns more efficiently. Also didn't like much of the choices of breakfast.

Very friendly Staff

It was our first time in London, and my wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. We want to give a special thank you to Vijay (the manager) and Chithra (the receptionist) — they were so helpful, responsible, and kind. We will never forget how warm and welcoming they were. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Easy walk to tube station. Cafes and stores nearby. 24 hour front desk attended. Clean and curtious.

This small hotel in a quiet part of Kensington was perfect for our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had a modern, spacious private washroom and shower, a modern HVAC system and a window that opened to let in fresh air. The buffet breakfast was served in a bright, sunny room on the ground floor with no waiting or crowding. The West Kensington tube station on the District line was a six minute walk, with connections to the Picadilly and Circle lines at nearby stations. There were a variety of shops and a pub conveniently located between the hotel and the tube. In all, a very satisfactory hotel. We would certainly stay there again.

Love staying, very close to the tube and despite limited space breakfast is very good with good selections. Staff are incredibly helpful and will hopefully be kept on with the hotel changes hands from best western to Marriott 4 seasons!!

Nous avons pris un séjour pour une durée de 3 nuits afin de découvrir Londres. L'hôtel est bien situé, le quartier est calme. L'hôtel est propre, le personnel accueillant et toujours disponible. Nous avons adoré notre séjour la bas. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais efficace avant de partir visiter Londres.
