Bathroom dirty when we checked in. Had to clean before use. LInens ahd burn holes and the floor had boards sticking up to hurt your foot on. Bathroom floors were soft. Felt like you were going to fall through the floor. Couldnt get access to guest laundry or ice. No pool or breakfast as advertised.

Liked-Friendly staff. Clean room. Didn’t like- no breakfast. Dining room was not usable.

This location is ok for bed and sleep. It advertised that they have free breakfast, but they don’t have ANYTHING! One of the amenities is a swimming pool on site but it was never open for the entire season. Room cleanliness was good. Good place for the money just to lay down and sleep. Not as advertised however.

The room and staff were fine. I would've gave it a better rating if the pool was open. And i was told that the pool probably won't open this year at all, so i think they need to advertise without a pool then. I almost went to another hotel down the street that had a pool..

this property has easy access to the freeway. there are a couple gas stations and a taco bell very close by. parking is right outside the room and it is pet friendly. heater worked well and shower worked well. bed was comfortable. we showed up in the middle of the night after a long drive and the front desk agent was very helpful

I was looking forward to swimming on a hot day and the pool was closed. While the room was comfortable, I was not happy with the breakfast, basically coffee and a cold cinnamon roll.

Customer Service terrible. No Internet doing our 4 night stay.

The electric door lock was broken on alk doors, so the front desk attendant had ti let me in the room every time i left. Massive inconvenience

Parking was right at door. Hot water was piping hot and plentiful, excellent pressure.

Key cards weren’t working because power had went out that week and needed recoded. Employee took us to room. Opened door and shut it and said yeah let’s go to a different one that one stinks. He used his actual key to get in and said if we left we would have to come to front desk to get back in.

Definitely don't judge a book by its cover. The pictures are quite deceiving. The rooms are not as clean as they appear. There was dirt all over the chair and the sinks also smelled like there was an animal in our room previously but that was something we could deal with. Everything seemed fine until we had dinner delivered to our room once the food was there the roaches made their appearance. We checked out as soon as we noticed them within two hours of checking in. We have yet to receive our refund that was promised to us for the night we left early.

There was roaches

When we got there for the first night, there were crumbs in my bedsheets. I didn't say anything because I was overly exhausted and I am also sick, I just wanted to sleep. 0/5 on cleanliness just for that. If anything, the beds should be the most clean.

When we got to our room we found cockroaches everywhere. The room wasn’t the cleanest. When we went to get our money back we were told that we would not get one that the owner would not do it. Considering that we didn’t have extra money to just leave and find another room we had to stay. The night attendant did give us a different room but we were not comfortable at all. We were in town for a football tournament so most rooms in the area were booked. I would not recommend to anyone looking to stay at this Motel.

Was just stopping for a few hours an thought, it’s a national chain. Should a least be clean and safe. Boy was I wrong. Was supposed to be non smoking room, but I think they just put up the sign when tats requested. Reeked of smoke and bed spread had burn holes all over. Floor was soft and had screws sticking up. Bugs on floor and atop nightstand. Walls looked like it was a resent crime scene. Do not go. Sleep in your car.

I will never stay there again i got a refund do to cockroachs

The heater look it had been burnt and no heat at all. The place looked trashy. It was a place to sleep and wouldn't recommend at all.

Bed was very comfortable. Room started out hot and humid and took a long time to cool down.

Great place to stay for the price, quiet, safe, convenient and clean.

Overall, wasn’t bad, but the main reason to go is to sleep and the king bed we had sunk down in the middle and not comfortable. Just change out mattress and will be fine for others.

Clean room and bed comfortable

Room was very clean. But noise outside of room kept me up. I do not think it was noise from others at motel. It was coming from Interstate beside motel.

Room was OK. Bed was comfortable. But the bathroom was not good. Looked like it hadn’t been completely cleaned, the toilet had a leak, and it smelled. The room was right up against the interstate and it was a bit noisy.

The property was okay. It was a motel with basic amenities. But there bugs/spiders in the room, and no shampoo was provided. The restroom was smelling, and there was no lid on the toilet bowl. The biggest issue was the rudeness of front desk staff. The coffee machine was out of service. But instead of writing that, he wrote do not touch on top of the coffee machine, with brew button exposed. I assumed it was due to that section being hot. The moment I hit the brew button, that guy came over screaming yelling at me that I don’t know how to read English and how dumb I am. I told him politely that you should have written out of service rather than do not touch, and that too without hiding brew button. He kept yelling saying that there are dumb people all over. Since I was getting late, i didn’t engaged with him further. Really rude front desk staff and hostile customer service.

The desk attendant was pleasant and patient. The place was clean and easy to find from the highway.

House keeping kept coming to my room. And stressing that check out was at 11am. It was 930ish the first time, and came back at 10:50am and said to open up, time to leave. And I stressed the fact that check out was at 11am. She opened the room door after I told her I was still in there at 9:30am. Definitely didn’t liked be harassed and rushed to leave the room.

We stayed 2 nights Fri-Sun. We was awakened early on Saturday morning to see if we wanted or needed anything and they was told no that we was ok. We got up and went to breakfast and came back and they had entered the room with our stuff in there and shut off the heat and opened the curtains. My husband went to the front desk to ask why they went in there after being told we were ok and didn’t need anything and was cussed by the guy working. Worse experience ever staying at a hotel. Will not be staying there ever again.

Staff was the best! For the past 2 yrs I work from out of town and he is by far the best in the Charleston area. And I have stayed at all hotels from Mardi Gras to Marriott Ch

I called to verify ok to check in late.When we arrived the manager yelled at us. He stated that women I spoke with didn’t know what she was talking about. He was in charge and he cancelled it.

Awful place. While I was opening the door to my room the owners daughter was standing and watching me and talking on her cell phone the entire time. As I walked into my room she decided to follow me and tell me to go to the front office. No explanation, no reason, nothing but saying the same thing repeatedly when I asked if there was an issue. So I walk to the front desk, which I past the owner which I figured was coming to speak to me but nope he didn't say a single thing or even look my direction. So as I get to the front desk, the gentlemen working informs me that the owners said I couldn't stay there and they were refunding my stay. When I asked why, had I done something, he said they didn't give any reason or details. After chatting for a few it comes out that he thinks it was messed up what they're doing, and that it's because I'm related to someone they didnt like who has a lawsuit against them. Front desk staff was super nice and would definitely do business with them again. As for the owners. I'd give my business to anywhere else before here again. Than to beat it all, I had to contact Expedia because they never initiated my refund. They didn't even tell Expedia they had refused my stay and still had me as being there checked in. Had I. It caught it in time I'd never gotten my refund.

Paid online with hotels.com but, they still charge me and I had to call them for two weeks to get a refund.

Very close to casino, and gas stations, and fast food. Easy to get to from interatate.

Clean room/friendly staff/quiet/comfortable and safe... many places to eat nearby.

Nice place, good value, a bit tricky turning left onto a busy street when leaving the motel, but it was a good place to stay overall.

Noise from the freeway and your light outside each door is too bright. Other than that the motel served our needs for a reasonable price.

Location was convenient to food, groceries and gas. Right off the highway, but not too noisy. Room was exceptionally clean. No sign of critters. Beds were very comfortable. Bring extra pillows, only two per bed. Bring your own do not disturb sign. Room service knocks a bit early, and on your day of departure they will show up early to see if you’re planning to check out; that seemed odd, but all things considered. We would stay again.

It was all around great different places to eat in or take out

This a a budget motel so n o complaints. I thought it was a very good value for what we paid. Our room appeared to be recently renovated/upgraded and had a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were almost new. They served a free continental breakfast which was not mentioned on the website so that was a bonus.
