Location was key as this was a 5 min drive to my event. This was very easy to get to as it was close to freeway but not too close to hear the noise. The room was clean and spacious. The hallway had a faint scent of cigarette smoke like if someone was smoking right outside the door and the smoke got sucked into the hotel hallway. But there was none of that in the room which is the most important part. They have a filtered water bottle dispenser in the hall next to their ice machine, a big plus! I'd stay here again for sure.

This was a great place to stay for us to stay, as we were just using it for sleeping. We spent the majority of time at our son's home. It should be noted that there is no elevator. We were able to navigate that, but also had several large suitcases and other items we had to take up the stairs. So if you can't do stairs, request a 1st floor room. Also - there is no hair dryer, iron, or shampoo. Bar soap - but not shampoo. These are fairly typical items you expect in a hotel these days. Again - I brought my own (except for the iron) so I didn't need them. But for review purposes, it's good to know before reserving so you can be prepared. We have stayed at this hotel before and will stay there again. It's a great price when you mostly just need a place to sleep.

Comfortable stay with our dogs. Pillow/mattress were very comfortable. Looks like the are doing remodeling. Our hallway which was obviously for pet owners looked a little tired but was not a deal breaker for us. Morning coffee was actually good which is a plus. Negative was the ice machine was on the 3rd floor and not convenient when staying on the first floor.

Convenient hotel with fridge and microwave, just off the highway. Grocery store and restaurants are very close. the room was clean but the shower was dirty and looked like it needed a good scrub. they are in the process of updating the hotel though.

Check in was easy. The room was mostly clean but there is mold growong in the shower. Our first morning we realized that the hotel does not staff the desk until 11AM. That was a problem when there was literal feces on the main stairwell, that had been stepped in and transferred down the stairs and made the hotel smell. The last night there, people were up and yelling loudly in the hallways and stairwells at 4am with no staff aroumd to stop them.

The shower was not clean there is mold and soap scumm on the door and moldings was lots of blck hair in the drain and there was cocroaches in my room we came back from dinner my dogs food had roaches in it how icky the beds are so u comfortable my back hurts and i couldnt sleep i had to go buy my own pillows because the ones on the bed were so flat the desk people were nice the lobby was fancy and looked good

My room was clean, but the bed and pillows were hard as a rocks, shower had mold on rubber door seal. Stairways were filthy. The sink was cracked, the faucet felt like it was going to fall off when turned on and off. The toilet lid was pushed forward due to the tank lid curving out so it caused you to sit funny. Staff member who checked me in was an old classmate, he provided excellent customer service. Parking lot clean and well lit. It was a very peaceful stay. Auburn is my home town and I would probably stay here again due to the price.

My 11 year old daughter were first given a "non-smoking" room that REEKED of smoke. We had it swapped out for room 226. I smashed one cockroach that came out of the microwave (it ran across the back lit window while my popcorn was popping), and my daughter got 33 (and counting) bed bug bites on hands, torso, neck, and feet. The place is absolutly disgusting.

The property appears to have long term residence with pets, the hall smelled and the room was in need of a deep clean. We opted not to use the shower as the shower floor had soap scum build up and was dirty looking. The mattresses were stiff. The hotel was quiet.

I stayed here with my kids while traveling for a soccer tournament. The night staff was kind and friendly, always greeted us with a smile. The room itself was fine, small, but it did its job as a place to lay our heads to rest for the next day of games. The beds do move off the platforms which made trying to sit up and lean against the wall difficult, as the bed would start to drift. Room had enough room to play giant Jenga and Uno with the kids. A/C worked well. The fridge in the hotel room worked great, had a small freezer which allowed the water bottles used for ice in the cooler to refreeze at night, fridge kept fruit and lunch meat cold. There is a Starbucks right across the street for all Coffee needs.

The man at the front desk was super nice and accommodating. The Wi-Fi was fast and worked well. The first room we got was too stinky for us so we changed rooms which was easily done by the accommodating staff. The second room we got certainly wasn't stink free but was a lot better. Overall the experience was fine I'm not expecting a whole lot from a motel 6 but certainly things could have been a little cleaner.

I had a good stay however I was on the second floor and could not get a good nights sleep because there was a lot of noise (people constantly walking) on the floor above me. I suspect it was the service staff working way late into the night. This was every night.

I will start by saying it was clean, if you just need a place to crash it is fine, the fan/heater worked great as did the microwave and fridge. The only downside was the cigarette/marijuana smoke. The only room they had available because of a snow storm was a smoking room so we took it, however the smell of weed in the hallway was too much! Also, we checked in at 5 and could not even use the towels because of the cigarette smoke.They need better ventilation. Also it is in need of an update the room is pretty dated.

The motel is great. The problem is active railroad tracks run along the motel property and freight trains run all night long. Big, long, LOUD freight trains. ALL NIGHT LONG. But keep this in mind: all the motels in the area have the tracks running right next to them, so no other motel will be any quieter. Ear plugs are required.

Initial room had unwashed stains on the floor on arrival, requested to be moved to a different room. They didn't update that in the system and gave the same room to someone else, who tried to get in later that night. I got a call from the front desk at 11:30 that night to confirm my name because no one wrote it down. Really bad experience.

My reservation was in order. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. I parked my car and was able to walk quickly to my room. I showered, slept well and was able to grab 2 cups of coffee in the lobby before I hit the road. Very basic, reasonably priced, exactly what I expected..

Outside of the staff I can’t really recommend this place. Didn’t feel safe. Also, no one works the front desk from 11pm-5pm? I understand being short staffed but who’s in charge during those hours? Is there anyone working?

I looked at all of the reviews before I chose to stay here and we have stayed at other Motel 6's before. We booked a stay because of the no charge for our dogs and we just needed a place to stay for the night. The grounds and parking are great, they even have charging stations for the electric vehicles. The gentleman that checked us in was fantastic, really nice guy! Knowing that it is a Motel 6 I didnt expect a lot from the accommodations. The room was fine, but you can tell that the whole place needs a huge deep clean. Make sure you bring your own shampoo (I forgot), they have none in the room and you should remember this is not a resort or 5 star hotel. It is a great place to stay for the price and location!

Good price, the motel is being remodeled and it will be nice once it is finished. No in room coffee, beds are not bad but a mattress pad would be nice. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Location was key as this was a 5 min drive to my event. This was very easy to get to as it was close to freeway but not too close to hear the noise. The room was clean and spacious. The hallway had a faint scent of cigarette smoke like if someone was smoking right outside the door and the smoke got sucked into the hotel hallway. But there was none of that in the room which is the most important part. They have a filtered water bottle dispenser in the hall next to their ice machine, a big plus! I'd stay here again for sure.

Affordable, safe, and lots of stores & restaurants near by! Pet friendly (love that pets stay free) and there’s a really nice dog park right down the street. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, and the shower had very hot water which was great.

The motel is great. The problem is active railroad tracks run along the motel property and freight trains run all night long. Big, long, LOUD freight trains. ALL NIGHT LONG. But keep this in mind: all the motels in the area have the tracks running right next to them, so no other motel will be any quieter. Ear plugs are required.

No coffee pot in the room. Only a coffee machine, not fresh coffee, downstairs and it was only available from 6-10 and even after six I had to find cups and sugar. Regular coffee drinkers expect easy access to wake up juice in order to maintain some semblance of routine starting the day to have any chance of being productive. The man at the front desk was really polite and very helpful whenever I asked about something. Seems like good people. In a pinch I'd sleep there again because it was clean with an affordable price, but I wouldnt seek it out.

My reservation was in order. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. I parked my car and was able to walk quickly to my room. I showered, slept well and was able to grab 2 cups of coffee in the lobby before I hit the road. Very basic, reasonably priced, exactly what I expected..

Comfortable stay with our dogs. Pillow/mattress were very comfortable. Looks like the are doing remodeling. Our hallway which was obviously for pet owners looked a little tired but was not a deal breaker for us. Morning coffee was actually good which is a plus. Negative was the ice machine was on the 3rd floor and not convenient when staying on the first floor.

Good price, the motel is being remodeled and it will be nice once it is finished. No in room coffee, beds are not bad but a mattress pad would be nice. Staff was very nice and friendly.

The room and property was what one would expect from the brand. Could use some sprucing up, but overall a clean and functional room. Not many amenities but that is to be expected for the cost. There is no breakfast, but coffee and tea are available in the morning hours.

You get what you pay for. The first day there, no soaps were placed near the sink to wash your hands but by the nextbday housekeeping did replace it. Room is spacious. Only two hangers for clothes on a hook (no closet). Also during check out, no one was at the front desk for over 15 minutes so just had to leave the card on the counter. Water refill station was nice and ample parking.
