The stay was okay. I was upset to find out that they consider a fridge & microwave a deluxe room and charge another $12, i thought that was in any motel room, but i have to say it was a decent stay oversll.

Non-existent service. Ice machine worked on the first night, wasn't working on the second night. When I complained again on the third night that it still wasn't working I was told that "the service man had reset it". So much for service follow up. Also on the third night the television cable wasn't working, the TV was, the cable wasn't. I complained twice and was told that the service man had been notified. The next day upon waking at 9am the TV cable was working. I noticed I had dripped quite a few drops of condensation water from a cup of ice onto the tiled floor (no carpet) and since I was walking around in my socks, I took a big wad of toilet paper and wiped up the droplets. I was shocked at how black and filthy the toilet paper was from wiping such a small area of the floor. The room telephone was dead. The vending machine had been trashed and was empty. While waiting in line to check out a lady came in complaining that she has been asking for clean towels for two days and needed clean ones. The counter person turned around and opened up a cabinet, procured a towel and gave it to the lady saying, "It's all I have." On a positive side, sort of, the room heater/AC was one of the quietest I've ever experienced, even though the outlet vent screen was filled with years of accumulated dirt and dust. Even though we did not pay for a room with a microwave and refrigerator, our room had them, and both were clean and functional.

Noisy area Day and night! Parking lot has to many pot holes. The interior smelled like mildew, horrible lighting actually very minimal lighting. The tub was old she looked out of shape. The bed was lumpy not comfortable at all!! Pillows were flat and different sizes!

It was the worst hotel stay experience! They supposedly didn’t receive my $50 deposit even though I have the receipt. There are no microwave or refrigerator in the room. If you want those “luxuries” you have to pay extra. This crappy motel costed me an extra $105 on top of what I already paid. The staff is rude to top it all off. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

My recent stay here was profoundly disappointing. 0 stars. The room I was assigned was far below acceptable standards of cleanliness, with noticeable dirt and grime throughout. The mattress had noticeable wear and tear with black spots on it. Shockingly, I discovered BED BUGS in the bedding, a clear indication of poor maintenance and hygiene practices. I’m severely allergic to bed bugs and dust mites. The photos on the sites are NOT what they look like in person. It became evident that the hotel’s primary focus is on revenue rather than guest satisfaction or safety. Security measures were glaringly inadequate, with a general sense of neglect for guest safety. Furthermore, despite the advertised availability of non-smoking rooms, the pervasive smell of smoke suggested otherwise. This, combined with the overall state of the hotel, made for an extremely unpleasant stay. As well, to reply to this review that I will know happen, apologies and stating “we will improve” means nothing without real action.

Property look like a scence from the apocalypse the 1st room i had the locks didnt work and the door was kicked in at bottom the second room smelled of smoke the door was pushed in at bottom . The bed was disgusting and the sheets had cigarette burn holes in them.you should be embarrassed to even put this property on your listing!!

I was in my room for about 2 hrs and I could barely open my door! The shower was barely clean! And I found bed bugs literally just crawling on my bed and the staff gave attitude when I asked for a refund!

Cheap price, but horrible conditions. Rooms stink, Found mold on tissue, my daughter had bug bites, requested new bedding and they threw the pillows on the dirty floor to make the bed & just put them back on the bed. Property manager was taking care of a baby in the back room while checking me in. Microwaves are dirty with old food stains inside. Replacement towels look like a dirty white color. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Will never go back!

Very poor quality rooms, not enough bath towels, beds dirty have to desinfect bed sheets as we found pubic hair all over the beds, no trash can at the bath I bought one my self and left it at the room after checking out, very disgusting stay.

For the price, you cannot complain. I had no problems staying overnight. Mind your business & you will be fine. Room was clean, just wish the door was more sturdy. Not being from VA, i was uneasy due to not knowing the surrounding areas.

It’s ok one of the better motel 6 in the area. The owners are kind and personable they try to accommodate your needs. Only issue we had was the family next to us were very very loud. There kids were yelling all day long. The other issue would be the bathroom door not locking and the front door had such a gap that you could put your fingers between the frame and door while closed. It has potential motel 6 (all) need to check out the properties and fix how there quality. I’d choose this motel 6 over any of the other motel 6’s.

For $100 per night I'd have preferred to stay at the Norfolk city jail. The door to the room was ill fitting and to the point that normal weather stripping would not provide adequate seal for outside air infiltration or security. The bedside reading lights were non-functional, the wall switch controlled light created the aura of a tenement walk-up flat. No carpeted floors, and the "blankets" on the beds looked to be scavenged from a local shelter. Room prices in the Va Beach/Norfolk area are outrageous but this facility deserves to be put out of its miserable existence. Do not book this motel... Motel 6 should be ashamed to franchise this location. I'm sorry if the employees are affected by this review, but the owner operator doesn't deserve anybody's patronage.

I had a non smoking room, but it smelled like smoke and I had to wear a mask in order to fall asleep. The smell of smoke in my non smoking room was so pungent. There were also many people yelling in the parking lot from 1:30 AM to 3:00 AM. It sounded like an physical altercation almost occurred, but it was surprising there were no police or security to stop this disturbance from happening.

Staff wS friendly but the place looks NOTHING like in the picturea. Our room was awful! Hokes in the bathroom door and door hanging off half broke. Mold on wall above shower. White spackle on wall next to bed on a dirty wall. Ceilings look like theyre coming down. Loudness from room above us.

Full of dead bugs, dirty linens, lumpy pillows, just an absolute piece of junk that is not fit for human occupation. Smelled of smoke. Puddle in front of air conditioning. Second room AC didn't work. Loud electronic sound in first room. We ended up leaving and driving the 3 hours home.

The general manager Thomasine was very helpful, polite, caring and welcoming. She also was constantly checking on me to make sure i was comfortable and safe with anything i needed. Also her staff was great with a certain member that stood out overall. Her name was Nisha and she was excellent with her manners and customer service.

First off, be sure to ask about the decal for your car upon checking in because your vehicle will be towed without one. The one who checked me in didn't even bother to ask me about my vehicle or even mention anything about needing a decal and I woke up one morning to find my car "missing." Thankfully, I didn't have to pay to have it pulled out of storage because it was the employees fault for not giving me a decal and was able to get my car. The first room had black mold so I requested another room which I couldn't even open because the latch needs replaced, so I got a 3rd room. The 3rd room had not been cleaned prior to my arrival and had pee stains on the toilet, dirt inside the sink, and pube hair on one of the beds. Not to mention the floor had not been swept or mopped at all and I had to get unusable motel towels so I could clean the room myself as I didn't even want to request another room because I was just plain tired. Overall, the employees are semi approachable and checked to see if everything was alright when an ambulance had to come to take my friend to the hospital because he had multiple seizures that wouldn't stop. After everything, I didn't even stay the full trip. The vibe of the place is questionable at best and given everything that had happened, I simply couldn't even sleep and went to truck stop just so I could get some sleep. Overall, I will not stay here again and wouldn't recommend the place either.

We had a bad experience, the manager of the place made a mistake with us saying that we had not paid for the room and they evicted us and I lost my money. I expect a refund. He was a rude person and not at all professional. I recommend other places but not here, so please look for other places. This is a terrible place to stay

Its in a good location close to stores, gas stations, and a gm. The tall dark skinned front desk girl was friendly and great, but not the manager who just kinda did her job and checked you in. it was pet friendly which was the best deal! Alot of sketchy guest but i guess thats the hotel business. I think there is extended living facilities on the premises too.

Room was decent for the price. Room looks to be renovated. Fresh paint, new beds, ect... Not bad as a last minute stay. But the area was sketchy. No fault to the motel. The location wasn't in the best area. But it was close to the highway. Only about a 20 minute drive to Virginia Beach Boardwalk.

I absolutely hated this hotel . It was so loud and the police had to be called multiple times and then a resident stabbed another they blocked off the scene and then questioning everyone for hours that honestly knew nothing about it ! A shame please avoid !

Front desk staff - VERY friendly and accommodating. The property itself is dated, not a big deal, but the grounds were noisy with people and car alarms going off, people shouting etc… If you’re looking to have a good sleep, I would pick a more traditional hotel vs motel

this is a dope dealers place. also prostitution. people making noise all hours of the night. place was filthy and very worn out. someone painted the bathtub and paint was pealing badly. one really nice lady at the front desk. no other positive comments. no coffee 2 mornings in a row. will not ever stay here again
