La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Loveland Estes Park

Love this property for location to Hwy 36 and Big Thompson River. However, it only has two handicap parking spaces and instead converted 5-6 upfront spaces to reserved for Tesla Electric Charging Spaces, only one of which was sometimes in use during our stay. Need to add handicap spaces near entrance.

Good enough for a solo work trip. Bed was firm, pillows fluffy, clean/smelled clean, plenty of tv channels, no fancy channels tho :( Could hear doors slam and some neighbor noise. Pool/hot tub looked decent, workout room was good enough. Staff were great. Parking was plentiful, a little dark in spots, brewery next door is ok.

Great hotel. Right next to a fun brewery. EV charging available and plenty of parking. Disappointed by the old, wore-out hot tub (which was not hot). Overall, great locations to the mountains.

Pool and hot tub are disgusting , the hot tub jets dont work and the water is slimy and gross. We love this place but some time and money needs spent on the hot tub and pool.

Hot tub was out of order for most of our stay, and the pool was oddly warm, not refreshing. Ice machines on 2 of the 3 floors didn't work.

Called the property before booking a room through Expedia. I wanted to confirm they had a pool and hot tub at the property, as that was the main reason we were choosing this hotel to stay at. The front desk attendant told me yes, they had both a pool and hot tub. After traveling to the hotel and checking in, the front desk attendant told me the pool and hot tub were out of service. I asked if this just happened, as I had spoken to someone the day before and they did not mention that they were out of service. The attendant told me that no, it hadn’t just happened. They had been out of service for over a week. We then had to find another property last minute, and had to go through Expedia customer service to request a refund for this booking. The hotel was no able to do anything on their side. If the first hotel attendant I had spoken to on the phone had told me pool facilities were closed when I asked about them, we would not have booked this hotel at all. It would have saved us a lot of headache. Now we wait 7-10 business days for our refund of what we paid for the booking plus what the hotel held on my debit card for the stay.

The room was really nice. Check in took way too long as I had to wait or a group of people to check in and it took over 30 minutes. Also, the treadmill did not work which was disappointing as it was too cold to walk outside.

The pool was closed at some point every day we were there. Never was told why.

I wasn't very happy about the pool not being in service due to renovation in which I did not see online or was told about till after check in

Room; clean, no odor, comfortable bed, pillows were flat

The room we were given had not been cleaned from the prior person. The bed had bloody sheets but was made up as if it was fresh. The bathroom had a used razor, used bandaid in the shower, garbage was full and had a couple things left in there from the previous person (hair spray and lotion). The front desk clerk was apologetic and gave us a new room, but if i wouldn’t have noticed the dirty sheets, i probably wouldn’t have noticed the other things until morning (since i checked in late and wouldn’t have used the shower until morning)

The shower was gross, it had someone else's hair in it and overall did not look clean.

My bathroom toilet was unclean. I had already check-in and let the front desk know. I received no compensation for have a dirty toilet.

When we first arrived all was well, the receptionist was nice and friendly. Once we got to our room it was a different story! There was a big wad of hair on one of the queen size beds, the trash hadn’t been emptied in the main area! The bathroom also had trash in the trash can and a used soap on the soap dish! I made a beeline back down and let the hotel clerk know that our room was unacceptable! She moved us to another room which was at least clean to the eye but didn’t smell all that great! I’ve had better stays with La Quinta in the past. This one in Loveland needs either new management or needs a renovation!

It was very safe. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The room was spotless.

Room was smokey. Asked for another room and was given a new room, it was appreciates. Daughters room had hairs in bed and stains on bedding. Gross!! Requested new room, hotel was booked so night clerk changed the bedding for them. Didnt have all the right pieces so pieces together best she could.

Very clean and decently priced

Service at the Front desk was awesome. Very helpful. Room smelled like smoker had been in there. They offered to move me but didn't take them up on it due to time on my side. We had 2 rooms and my family didn't sleep well either on a different floor due to neighbors noise. Very clean, but rooms weren't comfortable and slightly dirty comforters. We go to Loveland for family but won't stay here again.

Even thought the property is 10 years old, it looks like it’s brand new! The staff is very helpful and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Definitely will stay here when in Loveland visiting family.

It was a fine hotel room. I was on the 2nd floor and whatever/ whomever was just above me was noisy ALL night. Walking, banging things, jumping(?).... just really alot of noise.

This property was one of the cleanest of the 5 hotels we booked for our trip. Our room was next to the Lobby so we heard voices all night otherwise it was great

Convenient for us. But tv signal weak and only few channels came in. Nothing they can do.

Got the most expensive suite. Very disappointed. SPARSE describes Everyting about it. Bare walls , no artwork. Cheap, small TV with speakers like a cell phone. No bottles of water or snacks. NOISY at he traffic end of the building , noise all night. A strandard room would have been better.

The hotel is in a great location. I wish the bed was more comfortable. There was also nowhere to hang towels. The hook was missing. But everything was fine. The employees were all nice and helpful to us.

Very clean, beautiful view of the mountains

The lobby smelled of Jheri Curl and lavender. There's a bar and grill next door with lots of loud motorcycle-riding patrons late at night. The huge cookie cutter neighborhood next door also has several obnoxiously loud motorcycles and Subarus. The wifi is slow and Verizon cell signal is one bar.

The beds were awful. Old and worn.

Couch was broken in room. Bed needs upgraded.

Front desk needs more support. The poor girl working was overwhelmed and didn’t have anyone to back her up. Most guests spent 20+ minutes in line waiting to check in

Not that it's worth my time to write this because nothing will be done. But - as I previously shared with LaQuinta - I booked a trip to Estes Park so I could take my disabled son, who requires a wheelchair, to Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park the next day. There were no accessible rooms in a hotel with a pool in Estes Park, so I chose to drive the 30 additional minutes to Loveland (in the opposite direction) just so I could stay in a hotel with an accessible pool for my son. However, upon checking in, I checked the lift in the pool and saw that the battery was out (this is fairly common), so I asked the lady at the desk to request it. She said it would take about 10 minutes. Half an hour later, I called to check and was told that Maintenance had to charge the battery, and that she would call me back when it was ready - shouldn't take long. After 2 hours of waiting, I called to check and was told that the battery wasn't working and the lift would not be available. I can't believe that I have to repeatedly deal with this kind of crap, where disabled people are treated like an inconvenience and after thought in 2025! It is NOT an "inconvenience" when the lift doesn't work, it's a negative impact that makes my son feel like a second class citizen. Every other guest got to use the pool. No one else had to sit and wait in their room for 2 hours, praying they could enjoy their getaway. Who else drove an extra 45 minutes just to get to a hotel with a pool that h

I was unable to check in at check in time due to rooms being dirty. It was 2.5 hours after check in time when my room was finally ready and I was not offered any type of compensation. Will not return.

Check - in with Megan was so easy and she is really nice and supportive, she helped arrange our roll-away bed without any problem, and we were all checked in pronto. Trinity was also very nice and friendly, had a big smile and can-do attitude, A wonderful hotel, will be coming back here again and again. :)

When we arrived there was no one at the front desk for about 20 minutes. There was no bell to ring or anything. Finally the clerk showed up and said she had something to take care of with another guest. Although I don’t have a problem with that; she could have left a note or had someone else there to let us know what was going on. I came very close to walking away & cancelling my stay.

We were charged a pet fee even though our dog was a service animal and we had the paperwork. They also had a guest smoking marijuana in the room across from us. Drifted into our room. It was very loud when they were trying to kick him out. Didn’t offer to switch out room even though it really smelled. Got double charged for our room and had to call to get refund.

Always love staying here. We love Simone at the front desk. She’s the most informative and helpful one there. The maid service is top notch. Breakfast is great. We’d stay again.

The hotel itself is actually quite decent. The management of the hotel is horrible. The hotel overcharged me and it’s been almost a month but they still haven’t issued a refund. The management of the hotel is either careless or ignorant or unscrupulous. If anything would go wrong with your stay in this hotel, it may create an extremely challenging situation for you to resolve. So I would say - stay away from this hotel - strictly because of the horrible management. They promised me a refund three times. They also promised a refund to a Hotels.com representative that called on my behalf. And they also promised the refund twice to two different Wyndham representatives that called on my behalf. La Quinta is a part of Wyndham. But I still haven’t received it

I was starting to feel uneasy about the location the further west out of Loveland we were going, but the location turned out to be wonderful. It was quiet and serene with very little traffic or disturbances. A great restaurant is right there on site so there was no need to drive into Loveland for supper or drinks. The hotel itself was very nice and well-kept. My only reason for not giving a full 5 stars was some mildew in the caulking in the tub - I’m guessing it’s in the rotation to be redone because the rest of the building seemed to be fairly modern.

Clean modern rooms, and great location for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park.

The front desk let us know about the trail that is right next to the property, this was on the outside of town so you aren’t in the middle of all the noise.

Located on state rd 34 at the west end of Loveland about 30 minutes and a scenic drive through a canyon along the Thompson River from Estes Park and the entrance to the Rocky Mountain national park...the view from our room was perfect (west side}.The room wa clean and nicely appointed,the staff was friendly and helpful when needed.There's a pool,hot tub and a small gym for working out .very highly recommend booking here

We always stay here when visiting relatives in Loveland. Easy to get to and very close on the way to Estes Park. Great breakfast room with ample starters for the day.

Nice & quiet! Brewery next door with excellent wings! Property is on the way to Rocky Mountain National Park with a great view.

Location was perfect for visiting Estes Park and RMNP. There is a great tavern next door that serves wings, appetizers and burgers which were reasonably priced and great tasting. Would stay again if in the area.

Clean room, staff was friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast, one of the best I've had from a hotel.

Great stay! We checked in early evening, I wanted something to eat and the folks at the desk suggested the Berthoud Brewing Company which is just across the parking lot. It is a very well kept property in a nice quite safe neighborhood. Nice breakfast at the hotel in the morning. Would definitely stay again!

Breakfast had a god variety of fresh healthy food and room was clean and comfortable

The shower kept backing up and was never addressed by staff. Also, the “breakfast” was non existent as there was no food available so we had to go buy breakfast elsewhere

The stay very nice except for the breakfast. We understood that there were some issues during the night that delayed the breakfast. We were unable to wait till things were ready but wonder why cold drinks (juice/Milk) cereal,bread,pastried etc could not have been out. That would have help us quite a bit as it was we had somewhere we had to bee by a certain time and did not have time to find a place to eat(thinking we would have food at the hotel, we did not allow time for a restaurant.

The room was fantastic. Excellent breakfast and the staff was very nice and helpful.

The facilities were clean, but dated. Not updated like several other locations i have visited. The exercise machine was not maintained and partially broken and therefore not usable. The breakfast was disappointing. Will not visit this location in the future.
