Motel 6-Ventura, CA - Beach

We understand what we get at Hotel 6 and it was good. But the attendant that evening was not fireman’s seemed to have an attitude. We overlooked it and stayed. This hotel is centrally located and lots of places to eat around there.

The a/c wasn’t working I had to move my room after checking in I asked if they could change to double bed for inconvenience , rude and told me nothing can happen bc it’s hotels.com booking. The shower had dirt on bottom I had to wash off. And the towels had stains on them. Totally get what you pay for

Room was very clean. Grew up in Ventura and this place used to be a homeless dump! They have done a great job cleaning it up! Still a few weirdos staying long term but they stay to themselves. Would stay again.

Was charged 30$ for a guest who came at my previous stay. I was unaware and sleeping when the person came in the morning an the person did not stay the night there and was still charged 30$ will not b staying there again.

Room was nice for a motel 6. Right next door to McDonald’s for breakfast. Staff was friendly and quick checking us in.
