I checked in New Year’s Eve expecting to use the pool. I was told it had been closed for six months. What a disappointment. Also only on elevator was operational. Which caused many people to carry their belongings up and down the stairs. The hotel was extremely clean. Also a great location centered in the middle of tons of restaurants.

Convenient to the airport. Convenient to gas stations if you're renting a car. Concrete jungle of chains. One has to drive through a maze of convoluted turns to arrive at the hotel. Not sure what to do with the car. Instructions not given, and when offered at the front desk, the explanation is a list of around 10 steps, which one then has to remember. They're doable, but they're intimidating. Had a reservation for a particular room, but arrived to find it was "sold out." Not sure what a reservation is for or what "sold out" means for a hotel. But to receive that note and then receive notification that parking of the hotel is also gone, such that one must then pay at the parking garage and have a ticket validated, just adds to the car issue. Breakfast in the morning is chaotic. Seriously? Make an order with the front desk? You're better off making coffee in your room and then eating elsewhere. Then again, you'd have to get your parking validated, and there is a sign saying no in-and-out privileges, meaning you can't use your room key to go in and out of the garage. (Not sure if the hotel addresses this or not.)

Nothing works here. We were told they had a pool and it was empty. We wanted to go sit outaide by the fire place....it wasn't working. The amount we paid for nothing to work ia unfair.

Very curteous… friendly… very professional… handled all of our needs including shuttle service at 3:30 am for a 5:35 am flight… they had parking for our vehicle until we came back home…it’s a 10 plus for us!!!!!

Great location. Unfortunately the bathroom smelled like sewer and the room had a very weird smell. We notified the front desk but it appears they sprayed the room with something that only lasted a few hours. Otherwise everything was fine. But the smell was too much to overcome.

The room was clean, but the carpet and tiles were pretty stained. Overall it just felt like an old hotel. There are other hotels in the area that are probably just as old but better maintained. Staff was nice in the few minutes I interacted with them. Since there are so many other options in the area, I would probably pick another next time.

The room had a urine smell to it. It was somewhat nauseating. Location was good to walk to Zanies and Sugar Factory. This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at where the gift shop has no aspirin or ibuprofen. We doordashed some, but that was definitely odd to both of us as people who stay in hotels often. We had our parking validated some where else but had to make sure the hotel didn’t charge us since the automatically did when we had checked out. Not worth the money.

This is one of the best hotels I've been to so far, and the only complaint I have is that it's just like other newer hotels and apartments with no bathtub. That's it, staff is nice, lobby area is amazing, room is comfortable and clean, and even the rooms Mr. Coffee pot was still slightly wet from being cleaned.

Front Desk seemed annoyed to check me in to my room, just handed me my key and said your room number is on their. I was the only one at the counter at the time so not like she was rushed. The fridge in the room had a constant high pitched buzzing, had to unplug it. TV kept going in and out. Paying close to $200 for a night the TV should at least work.

The rooms need blackout curtains that cover the entire window. During our stay the lights from the neon signs on the street kept lighting up our room throughout the night. I had the worst sleep I have had in any hotel. Blackout curtains are pretty much standard in any hotel. The room designers should try sleeping in the room for a night. Not going back to this hotel.

Clean, pretty, and comfy bed wasted due to terrible night of no sleep caused by noisy aircon, noisy guests in hallway, and marijuana smell coming through door. Had to be at airport 6AM. Booked this place to get a good night’s sleep before flying.

Check in was great. Front desk answered all my questions. The room was adequate, yet spacious. The fan in the bathroom stopped working and was noisy when it did work. Beds on a platform is nice but it kept sliding off when I sat on the side. Upon check out, the front desk person who spoke to me did not even make eye contact. Very cold energy. Overall, the hotel is nice, but I will stay somewhere else next time. A bit overpriced.

The toilet did not flush and when it did it was super weak. It overflowed overnight so we had no bathroom. When you use the bathroom there is a window that lights up the bedroom. The window is not clear but light gets through. It woke my wife up when I went to bathroom at night and it lit up the bedroom. Three stars is generous. I mean no bathroom?

The hotel by itself was great, but the heat/AC in the room is SO loud that you cannot sleep. It turns on and off every 15min, impossible to sleep.

The room, front desk, and overall property were above average, but there is no walkway to the parking garage which is weird. You have to cut through the shrubbery or go to the end of the gate and walk back. The biggest annoyance was that checkout is 12 but as we were trying to get dressed to leave for the day housekeeping knocked at 9 am, and opened our door without knocking while I was at the sink doing my hair in my bra and panties. NOT HAPPY.

The hotel was fine but there was no AC in our room. We asked for maintenance, he turned the unit off, then on, and said he’d bring us a fan. We asked if we could switch rooms but we never heard from anyone again. When telling the front desk staff at check out, no one seemed to care. I would not stay at an Aloft again.

Needed a convenient overnight near O’Hare and Aloft was a reasonably priced choice. Staff was very welcoming and courteous, even with an a$&@ole in front of us beefing them about trying to use his wife’s reservation without her ID. Whatever… Hotel is def designed for the younger crowd but would stay here again if needed. Lots of dining choices close by too.

They Charged me again for my room I had paid for before arriving. She told me that she would charge my card for a $50 deposit, charged my card for $170, when I asked about she Couldn’t make it make sense claimed they would reverse the charge and Still Nothing!!

Having stayed in the centre of Chicago for the first night, this was ideal for us staying near the airport for 2 nights snd going to the Allstate Arena. Right on the doorstep is Chicago Fashion Outlets and a few places to eat brunch and dinner out.

I didn't like that their were no breakfast or snack options unless you paid. The rooms had no microwaves and 1 bottle of water for a weekend stay. Also the bartender was very rude, he would not turn on the tv's to watch the football games because he didn't want our group in the lobby. We had to get our laptop to watch. He also would not let some families that were there (not part of our group) sing happy birthday with a cake to their child, he told them to go to their room.

Clean, crisp, new. Lots of eating options within walking distance and outlet mall right across the street in case you need it. Close to airport and a 40 minute Uber to downtown. No complementary breakfast but there is food available for purchase. Nice, efficient comfortable rooms.

An average hotel at best. The glass on the sliding door to the bathroom had large crack that I noticed upon checking into my room. I reported it immediately. Overall, walls were marked up and scuffed, bathroom looked more like a college dorm and food was nothing remarkable. Other hotels have much better breakfast options than what they served here. First and last time I would stay here. When I pay close to $230 for the room, plus parking and food I expect something more.
