Stayed 5 nights

This resort needs to be closed. The only positive is the Friendly Staff. However the rooms are outdated and dirty and broken down. Waterslides don't work and the ones that do are for Adults. The entertainment is always outside and the food is just barely okay. At night it seems like the resort is on fire and the rooms are filled with smoke which is scary due to jungle burning for building. The drinks are watered down. My bathroom flooded twice from the shower. Oh and the most horrible thing happened to me on my Birthday, my phone was on the table outside in balcony area and about 1:00pm the sprinklers came on and water damaged my phone. I could not use anymore the entire trip. The pools has sand and a very rocky bottom that cut my son foots. I will never stay here again. I have been to Mexico about 7 times and this was the worst resort ever. All of my clothes smell like smoke and fire and I even had the plans smelling like that. I tried to make myself like it but to many negative things to enjoy.

This resort is definitely for families or couples for a short stay. The food options are limited, the sports bar was closed and it’s NBA championship finals. It was just boring. The staff kept trying to sell us cabanas, bottles and a visit to see their sister resort. It just wasn’t a great experience.

The resort caters to younger kids but not teenagers. Room service was not great. Took too long to get food. Mini bar and snacks were not stocked daily. Had to keep requesting sodas and snacks. Property offers turned down service but only received it the first night. Seemed like they were very under staffed and the resort was maybe at 40% capacity.

THERE IS NO BEACH. THERE IS NO BEACH. Do not let the pictures fool you. About four or five of the guest believe there was a beach because of the pictures and we were highly disappointed. Great pools though. Clean but a little run down. Mold/water damage on the ceiling by the light fixtures. The air condition does not get cold, its fan air. I had a patio to smoke cigars. They informed me no smoking. The spa was beautiful and the gym was great. The food is bland only dishes that were OK, were the lasagna and the fajitas. The omelette station is a perk and the breakfast tacos.

Super friendly and helpful staff, they ensured we had an amazing stay. There was a good selection of pools with different levels of activity and energy depending on if we wanted more fun or more relaxed moods. There was a great selection of restaurants and the quality of food was high.
