Beautiful resort, stayed in the Preferred Club which offered an adults only infinity pool, swim up bar, and top shelf liquor at the Preferred lounge. Check in and check out as a Preferred member was such a breeze. All the staff were amazing, always asking if we needed anything and bringing our drinks to our pool chairs. The buffet was small but there was always something for us to eat to our liking. The restaurants were also great- we had Italian and Mexican which were really good. The Teppanyaki dinner at Spice was also great, but note that you can’t order other things off the menu if you do Teppanyaki like sushi or apps. Our room was beautiful with a large balcony with a jacuzzi, and a separate living area. Overall, a great stay, would definitely come back here again!

We stayed in the preferred section with kids, the suite was perfect in size and the balcony was also a good size with a tub. The food was of a higher quality than most all inclusive resorts. Only issues I had was that for the first 2 days we faced a wall instead of ocean view, the resort did move us and we loved the new suite. There are lots of weddings in the weeks. And the groups just take over, the pools get extremely busy also places a wedding venue right outside our suite so was very loud, we were lucky our kids were old enough to not be bothered by the music or fireworks at the end but if we had a younger family if could have been worse. I am really torn on if I would return as the food and grounds are lovely, the service is great, the suites are a great size but the negatives were the size of the property when big groups come in, not enough shade but the pool and only one large family pool which gets busy especially in the weekend.

Pros: -Heated main pool, overall pool space and chairs were generally available -Saul and the entertainment crew were awesome -Property layout and amenities were amazing Cons: -The food at the restaurants was just OK. They didn't have a lot of options and everything was very salty. Also...no tacos or taco bar!! -The nightly shows were not great with the exception of the fire show. -Poolside music was not great (except when the entertainment staff was doing an activity) Pools- the non-preferred area had 3 pools plus a wading pool. The pools were a decent size and one had a swim up bar. Ideally these would have been all connected as they were all right next to each other. Pools seats were generally available, even if you didn't wake up at dawn to save seats. Food- The poolside grill was limited with burgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, and occasionally a quesadilla as well as chips and guac/salsa. The other lunch option served pizza and some seafood dishes, but not a rotating menu like I would have expected. The buffet was very standard, the only issue here was if you wanted eggs/omelets in the AM it took forever! The dinner restaurant options were Mediterranean (didn't eat here), Asian/Hibachi which was our favorite. We did both options, Luis was our grill master and did an awesome job and the menu options were all great. Italian was okay, everything was very salty, but the risotto balls were pretty good! Getting There The trip from the airport to Puerto Morelos was full of surprises. I’ve been visiting Mexico almost every year since 1995, and this was the first time I’ve seen Route 307 in such poor condition. Vegetation was overgrown above eye level, the road had numerous potholes, many lane markings were faded or missing, and several signs were either damaged or incomplete, showing only partial directions. Upon arrival in Puerto Morelos, we encountered even more potholes and narrow, uneven streets. Parking Valet services were our only option — not ideal, especially since our room was located very close to the parking lot. The staff required us to leave the car keys with the valet attendants, which proved inconvenient; one day, it took about 20 minutes just to retrieve our car. Restaurants The resort offers several good dining options, we loved the Mediterranean and Japanese. The cafeteria also had a wide and satisfying selection of dishes. Facilities The property itself is very attractive and well maintained. Beach The beach was comfortable and equipped with plenty of palapas for shade. However, during our stay, sargassum was a major and persistent issue despite the continuous efforts of the staff to keep the area clean. Everything was exceptional! Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond with requests or assistance. The room was in very clean and in great condition. Temp was set to a cool temperature during entire stay and helped with dealing with the heat and humidity. Pool was also very exceptional and perfect with ample space to swim and relax. The spa services were above and beyond as well. A very private and intimate setting and amazing services. 11/10!

We enjoyed our stay. We have been to 15+ all inclusive resorts. This one is really nice and I feel like it was a really good value. The beach does not have blue hotel zone water. It is like most of the beaches in the area south of cancun. The room was vey nice. The food was good and the options were plentiful. The resort is large enough to feel like resort and not just a hotel, but not so big that you have to take transportation to get around and need maps to find everything. The rooms and grounds are clean and well maintained. The pools were clean and fun. Our kids liked the Explorers Club. It was a great vacation!

Dreams Jade is a beautiful resort. Details matter and this resort delivered on that! The beds are so comfortable! When we arrived at our room (we did not have any upgraded package) we were greeted with a plate a chocolate covered fruits welcoming us and the same for our last night! All of the pools are heated and they are right by the beach which makes for a beautiful view. You don’t need to make reservations at the restaurants which I really loved bc most other resorts require that. They didn’t pressure us into purchasing excursions/time shares. Staff always greeted us with a smile. Room service was great- although very late once but rectified the issue. They also have a fun kids club with activities all day and a separate teen zone (just wish my kids could have enjoyed the teen zone but they are just a couple of years too young). It is a bit smaller than other resorts I’ve stayed at but that makes it so much easier to navigate the grounds, especially when you have two children and they’re hungry or you’re coming back from an excursion at night. The sargassum was present at our beach and though we were not able to get in the water, we were able to stroll the beach and enjoy the view from the pool.

Pros: Friendly staff and lots of activities! Beautiful landscaping and delicious food at the hibachi restaurant. Cons: cleanliness of the pool and the room bathrooms (rooms overall are outdated), and the food at the Mexican restaurant was below average, the mattress and pillows were quite uncomfortable.

We had to change rooms because our first room Which was a paid for ocean view, we could only see the main garden area. On top of that the room smelled of a combination of must, mold, and mildew. The second room was much better even though the AC did not appear fully functional. The room cleaning staff also did the bare minimum work they could have.

We enjoyed our stay. We have been to 15+ all inclusive resorts. This one is really nice and I feel like it was a really good value. The beach does not have blue hotel zone water. It is like most of the beaches in the area south of cancun. The room was vey nice. The food was good and the options were plentiful. The resort is large enough to feel like resort and not just a hotel, but not so big that you have to take transportation to get around and need maps to find everything. The staff were very friendly. The property was very old and the area smelled. We had 4 rooms and all had problems. Sewer smell, bathroom won’t flush, AC broke, ceiling leaked water. 4 out of 8 people got food poisoned. Very limited seafood. Food was cheap quality. Orange juice and milk tested nothing like orange or milk. Restaurants were a big disappointment. Overall I can only give 2 stars for the staff that was helpful. Other than that was a waste of money and time.

We stayed in the preferred section with kids, the suite was perfect in size and the balcony was also a good size with a tub. The food was of a higher quality than most all inclusive resorts. Only issues I had was that for the first 2 days we faced a wall instead of ocean view, the resort did move us and we loved the new suite. There are lots of weddings in the weeks. And the groups just take over, the pools get extremely busy also places a wedding venue right outside our suite so was very loud, we were lucky our kids were old enough to not be bothered by the music or fireworks at the end but if we had a younger family if could have been worse. I am really torn on if I would return as the food and grounds are lovely, the service is great, the suites are a great size but the negatives were the size of the property when big groups come in, not enough shade but the pool and only one large family pool which gets busy especially in the weekend.

Stay time: June 16-22 ROOM; Booked this all inclusive resort for myself and my girlfriend for our one year anniversary. We were very happy with the room situation (preferred king room with ocean view). Room layout included a large living room section, with a king bed and plenty of room to move around. There was a large balcony with a jacuzzi which we did not get the chance to use. Would highly recommend this room to a couple who values each others space (had our own seperate closets and sinks, with a safe). Bidet is also included in the seperate toilet / bathroom section of the room with its own sink. Room came complete with a mini fridge that was stocked with 4 Dos Equis’s every day, two bottles of water, as well as regular and Diet Coke. You can always request more from room service. The preferred section of the resort is adults only and has access to premium alcohol (only one bar in the lounge area, indoors) as well as a seperate pool area from the family side, along with private beach access also seperate from the family side. RESORT EXPERIENCE: Despite being a adults only + family resort, the family side was a ton of fun with activities and events happening every day with specific areas for younger kids to participate in day care and teenagers to play games like ping pong, video games and pool. The family aspect did not inhibit our experience whatsoever and most parents with kids were very fun. If anything it made the experience even more enjoyable.

Property was a little older but clean. Our cleaning service was amazing! Only thing I didn’t like about the room was the fact that our balcony hot tub took over 45/1hour to fill up. I’d booked an ocean front suite and I’d honestly recommend going for the ocean view so that you can see the resort and the ocean which is a much more pleasant view in my opinion due to how small the beach is and it’s filled with seaweed. Beach was very seaweed filled. We got 3 of 7 days to use the beach for part of the day. Pool was great! Food was great for dinner but room service was very mediocre. The breakfast buffet was decent but the selection wasn’t rotated much at all except for one little line that had bacon only some mornings. Very packed and a lot of people reserve pool chairs before they get down there and leaves slim pickings if any, don’t get down there any later than 10:00 am. Overall 4 out of 5 stars. I’ve stayed ate secrets maroma, and Hyatt ziva Cancun which are both part of the same collection. We enjoyed this resort as a family but I don’t see us ever returning. If your an all inclusive person than this is a decent place to start off but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’ve been to other property’s that may have been more expensive or higher rated because it can get kind of disappointing.

Very friendly staff. Good food. Could not use the beach as it was completley covered in seagrass. We had a water leak through the roof and part of the ceiling came down. Staff were very accommodating especially Ernesto. Very thankful for him.

We had to change rooms because our first room Which was a paid for ocean view, we could only see the main garden area. On top of that the room smelled of a combination of must, mold, and mildew. The second room was much better even though the AC did not appear fully functional. The room cleaning staff also did the bare minimum work they could have.

My husband and I spent a week at this resort. The room was spotless and spacious. The staff was superb. They were friendly and waited on us hand and foot. A special shout out to Roberto, Edder, and Julian at the Preferred pool. They always had extra towels, a table, and drinks ready for us. The food in the buffet was good, however, the food in the warming pans was never hot, just lukewarm. We especially enjoyed eating at the French and Italian restaurant. While at the hotel, my husband had a medical emergency and had to go to the hospital. The hotel doctor checked him out and the hotel transported us to the E.R. They also picked us back up the following day. The staff was very attentive and Paulina Oritz checked on my husband every day to make sure he was doing well. Although having a medical issue wasn't ideal, the hotel made us feel so comfortable and we are glad we didn't cut our vacation short.

The staff here are so super nice and helpful. The buffet was always very good with plenty of options. Would have loved to had water aerobics every day. Our room was very nice but air conditioning was not as cold as we would have liked. I booked ocean view room but it was definitely a garden view. We could not see the ocean. The spa was wonderful we enjoyed a massage and hydro therapy. All in all this resort was wonderful and would definitely recommend.

The service of the staff is just outstanding. You can see the Director of the Hotel at the restaurants supervising everything, but across the property. All the people are really great, at the bar, the pool, towels, concierge. ALL OF THEM, at the restaurants. Amazing resort and amazing staff , second time here and we loved it , only thing they don’t have a lot of seafood , if u a seafood lover this is not ur best option. Almost all the food is always Mexican which we loved and it wasn’t an issue , they have a lot of drinks varieties. The room upgrade that Expedia offered because I’m gold they said no availability and didn’t let me even finished saying it I guess they trained the staff to say that and don’t give out the upgrade.

The customer service was great. We had issues and they were able to change our rooms and fix our issues. They were very attentive and very welcoming. We booked a preferred room and it was worth it. Do not give me two words to describe what I did not like and a whole paragraph to write what I liked. Here is what I didn't like...... the smell of mold in the rooms, the restaurants and bars close most of the time due to weddings or other events. The bar near the beach was closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday!! The food was exactly like airplane food in premium economy, not even business class. The beach was full of seaweed and smell like so everywhere, Nor a good experience. The staff was great though!

We love the staff most of all. Lourdes, Edwin, Jesus, Emiliano, Jonathan and Raul in the breakfast time are all wonderful. They just make our vacation every time. We can’t wait to go back soon.

Becareful i booked a spa for my 1st day, as soon as i got in they sent me to a time share trap who promised me credits to sit through a 90 min session, and rescheduled my spa day.They went over to 2 hours and 15 minutes, and they tried to keep my Id to keep ne there longer.When i decided to leave without my ID they got were not happy to have to find me to bring it to me.This 2 hour plus workshop in turn messed up my schedule fpr the spa,which i ended up missing and they charged me for it right before i was checking out.Will never stay here again.The staff is in on the scam BEWARE....too bad too because other than that i enjoyed myself

I would say overall the resort is well maintained. Rooms and other facilities are good. Entertainment team was doing a great job.. House keeper was ok as they do not have a consistent standard of service the room. Most staff are well trained and friendly Except one. I would recommend that Food and Beverage department needs more improvement. Just a Day before we check out, our family of 7 were lined up for 45-50 minutes for the Italian restaurant for our last dinner. The hostess was really rude as she said we did not wear proper shoes. We all have close toe shoes which I believe it’s a common practice for the resort dinner restaurant as the dress code. As we were talking, two other guests with sandals were walking out of the restaurant. I invited her to see it and she got really mad afterwards and told us to go away as we did not meet the hotel policies. WOW, we were speechless and didn’t even expect that type of behaviour from a 5 star hotel staff. I went to file a complaint and talked to her line manager but he didn’t do anything. I don’t quite understand that this resort close some of their restaurants for dinner. There are 6 restaurants in the resort but typically we can only have 3-4 open. Overall, not a great experience but I would say most staff works really hard to make us enjoy our vacation.

Dreams Jade is a beautiful resort. Details matter and this resort delivered on that! The beds are so comfortable! When we arrived at our room (we did not have any upgraded package) we were greeted with a plate a chocolate covered fruits welcoming us and the same for our last night! All of the pools are heated and they are right by the beach which makes for a beautiful view. You don’t need to make reservations at the restaurants which I really loved bc most other resorts require that. They didn’t pressure us into purchasing excursions/time shares. Staff always greeted us with a smile. Room service was great- although very late once but rectified the issue. They also have a fun kids club with activities all day and a separate teen zone (just wish my kids could have enjoyed the teen zone but they are just a couple of years too young). It is a bit smaller than other resorts I’ve stayed at but that makes it so much easier to navigate the grounds, especially when you have two children and they’re hungry or you’re coming back from an excursion at night. The sargassum was present at our beach and though we were not able to get in the water, we were able to stroll the beach and enjoy the view from the pool.

The location was great for a quick weekend trip. It was not that close to any of the major cities (ie tulum, cancun), so the short bike-ride tour to downtown punto morales that the resort offered was such a nice touch to get explore the surrounding areas a bit more. The staff was wonderful, very nice and accommodating. HOWEVER, the sales presentation we were "asked" to attend, sadly almost ruined one of our mornings. We were told the presentation would be "no more than 90 minutes," and we were happy to attend to learn about the resort more and receive a coupon of our choice. Our representative was very kind and we enjoyed speaking with her, but from start to finish, we had almost 3.5 hours of our time taken away from what was shaping to be a lovely vacation. We understand they have a job to do and things to sell, but I was so disappointed that none of the 6 sales representatives we met seemed to take 'no' (many times!) for an answer. The deals were actually great, but as we told the team when we were first offered, we were in no position to make a huge financial purchase at this point in time. Every person seemed to keep pushing and when they finally listened to our declination, their personable personalities immediately fell. As I said, we they have a job to do and we respect that, but almost a whole morning was sadly taken away from our trip.

It was not that close to any of the major cities (ie tulum, cancun), so the short bike-ride tour to downtown punto morales that the resort offered was such a nice touch to get explore the surrounding areas a bit more. The staff was wonderful, very nice and accommodating. HOWEVER, the sales presentation we were "asked" to attend, sadly almost ruined one of our mornings. We were told the presentation would be "no more than 90 minutes," and we were happy to attend to learn about the resort more and receive a coupon of our choice. Our representative was very kind and we enjoyed speaking with her, but from start to finish, we had almost 3.5 hours of our time taken away from what was shaping to be a lovely vacation. We understand they have a job to do and things to sell, but I was so disappointed that none of the 6 sales representatives we met seemed to take 'no' (many times!) for an answer. The deals were actually great, but as we told the team when we were first offered, we were in no position to make a huge financial purchase at this point in time. Every person seemed to keep pushing and when they finally listened to our declination, their personable personalities immediately fell. As I said, we they have a job to do and we respect that, but almost a whole morning was sadly taken away from our trip.

Getting There The trip from the airport to Puerto Morelos was full of surprises. I’ve been visiting Mexico almost every year since 1995, and this was the first time I’ve seen Route 307 in such poor condition. Vegetation was overgrown above eye level, the road had numerous potholes, many lane markings were faded or missing, and several signs were either damaged or incomplete, showing only partial directions. Upon arrival in Puerto Morelos, we encountered even more potholes and narrow, uneven streets. Parking Valet services were our only option — not ideal, especially since our room was located very close to the parking lot. The staff required us to leave the car keys with the valet attendants, which proved inconvenient; one day, it took about 20 minutes just to retrieve our car. I had an amazing time at Dreams Jade Resort. The main reason I chose this hotel was its location—it’s much quieter than Cancun’s Hotel Zone, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. I’d like to give a special shout-out to David and Fernanda from the entertainment team, as well as Cecilia, the sweetest host at the Castaway restaurant. Juan, our waiter at Tamarind (the Mexican restaurant), was phenomenal, and Luis and Fabiola from the Asian restaurant were both professional and incredibly friendly. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the daily and nightly activities made the experience even better. I definitely plan to return to Dreams Jade Resort!

The resort was great! All the workers were very friendly and answered all the questions we had. Something I would’ve liked is to get a small tour around the area to get an idea of where certain buildings were located such as the spa. The Hyatt app was very helpful with scheduling services and also seeing what activities were being offered for the week! Will definitely return in the future :)

Great layout for a resort with easily walkable distances to everything. Great food options and service. Beautiful grounds with a main garden from the lobby to side garden with lovely vegetation to set it apart from other resorts. Great pools with wonderful temperatures. Even when fully booked, doesnt feel overwhelming. We will be looking for more Dreams locations for our next winter getaway.

The service, food, staff, restaurants and amenities are excellent but the beach is very dirty and rocky. Be prepared to be in the pool that after a while has only hot water. This hotel is located far from any local fun activities and taxi rides are very expensive. If you want to go with the hotel tours are usually very expensive too. I wish I would have stayed in the Cancun area or in Playa del Carmen.

We enjoyed our stay. We have been to 15+ all inclusive resorts. This one is really nice and I feel like it was a really good value. The beach does not have blue hotel zone water. It is like most of the beaches in the area south of cancun. The room was vey nice. The food was good and the options were plentiful. The resort is large enough to feel like resort and not just a hotel, but not so big that you have to take transportation to get around and need maps to find everything. The rooms and grounds are clean and well maintained. The pools were clean and fun. Our kids liked the Explorers Club. It was a great vacation!

Dreams Jade is a beautiful resort. Details matter and this resort delivered on that! The beds are so comfortable! When we arrived at our room (we did not have any upgraded package) we were greeted with a plate a chocolate covered fruits welcoming us and the same for our last night! All of the pools are heated and they are right by the beach which makes for a beautiful view. You don’t need to make reservations at the restaurants which I really loved bc most other resorts require that. They didn’t pressure us into purchasing excursions/time shares. Staff always greeted us with a smile. Room service was great- although very late once but rectified the issue. They also have a fun kids club with activities all day and a separate teen zone (just wish my kids could have enjoyed the teen zone but they are just a couple of years too young). It is a bit smaller than other resorts I’ve stayed at but that makes it so much easier to navigate the grounds, especially when you have two children and they’re hungry or you’re coming back from an excursion at night. The sargassum was present at our beach and though we were not able to get in the water, we were able to stroll the beach and enjoy the view from the pool.

Pros: -Heated main pool, overall pool space and chairs were generally available -Saul and the entertainment crew were awesome -Property layout and amenities were amazing Cons: -The food at the restaurants was just OK. They didn't have a lot of options and everything was very salty. Also...no tacos or taco bar!! -The nightly shows were not great with the exception of the fire show. -Poolside music was not great (except when the entertainment staff was doing an activity) Pools- the non-preferred area had 3 pools plus a wading pool. Pools seats were generally available, even if you didn't wake up at dawn to save seats. The reason my wife and I keep coming back are the staff like Cecilia, Antonio, and especially our favorite staff member Armando at the Preferred Club pool. He makes you feel like you are royalty. This includes Karla at the pool. Wait staff like Omar. It's not so much the resort itself. The old lady is starting to show her wear but it's the people I mentioned that make this resort. I encourage everyone to give Jade a chance. If you do make sure you eat at least once at Mercure you won't regret it!

Me and my husband just returned from our honeymoon there and absolutely loved it! Very impressed and happy with the amount of restaurants and variety of food options (even just within the buffet itself!) We loved the hibachi experience at Spice- our chef was hilarious and put on a great show! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the preferred club and loved our tub on the balcony and adults only pool. The pool, beach, and ocean were all so great and just steps from each other! Our room was spacious, pretty, and comfy and the daily housekeeping was always great. We did a spa day at the resort and did a couples massage where we had great service as well. The resort seems to offer plenty of activities and entertainment and is very family friendly but our happy place was at the pool and our private tub at night :) We already miss the pool and all the food! We will definitely be back! Thank you for an incredible honeymoon. {Personally my biggest complaint/disappointment was not finding many options in the gift shop that had the resort name/logo on it. There was some hats and quite a few men’s shirts with the name, but I was hoping to find a cute women’s tank top or sweatshirt or even a magnet.}

Amazing resort and amazing staff , second time here and we loved it , only thing they don’t have a lot of seafood , if u a seafood lover this is not ur best option. Almost all the food is always Mexican which we loved and it wasn’t an issue , they have a lot of drinks varieties. The room upgrade that Expedia offered because I’m gold they said no availability and didn’t let me even finished saying it I guess they trained the staff to say that and don’t give out the upgrade.

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely amazing! The hotel was spotless, beautifully updated, and thoughtfully decorated. Our ocean-view room was so spacious with a huge balcony that made it extra special. Dining was incredible. The Teppanyaki restaurant was so good we went twice, and we also loved the Mexican and Italian restaurants. The French restaurant is a must for breakfast! I was a little worried after reading some reviews about the food, but everything we had was phenomenal. Even the buffet was great, though for dinner I’d recommend the specialty restaurants. The spa was a highlight. We booked a package with a massage, facial, and hydrotherapy session—it was pure bliss. The staff was professional, everything felt top-notch, and we even brought home some of their amazing products. The pools were fantastic, with two swim-up bars and attentive servers who kept drinks coming whether we were poolside or in a cabana. For our anniversary, the hotel went above and beyond with champagne in our room and a sweet door sign—it truly felt special.The only drawback was the seaweed on the beach, but staff worked hard to clear it, and of course that’s beyond their control. There are a few shops on-site, but larger shopping areas are 30–45 minutes away. We also did a catamaran excursion that included shopping, which worked perfectly.We loved the priority lounge with top-shelf drinks. Overall, our stay was unforgettable, and we highly recommend!

My husband and I spent a week at this resort. The room was spotless and spacious. The staff was superb. They were friendly and waited on us hand and foot. A special shout out to Roberto, Edder, and Julian at the Preferred pool. They always had extra towels, a table, and drinks ready for us. The food in the buffet was good, however, the food in the warming pans was never hot, just lukewarm. We especially enjoyed eating at the French and Italian restaurant. While at the hotel, my husband had a medical emergency and had to go to the hospital. The hotel doctor checked him out and the hotel transported us to the E.R. They also picked us back up the following day. The staff was very attentive and Paulina Oritz checked on my husband every day to make sure he was doing well. Although having a medical issue wasn't ideal, the hotel made us feel so comfortable and we are glad we didn't cut our vacation short.

Would like if there was more entertainment and more places with TV's as there is only one sports bar on Resort. Dining Options are good but the Hibachi place was closed the whole time we were there. Room service could be better as well. This resort is good if you are booking last minute. Angel was an excellent server by the pool.

We booked a reservation with the Teppanyaki restaurant through the app, as we were instructed to do so, but when we arrived, we were told there was a glitch in the system and they failed to honor our reservation, despite admitting the scheduling issue was on their end. The food was very underwhelming, especially the breakfast buffet. There was a terrible smell at the adult's only pool, smelled like sewage/rotten egg, it got worse everyday of the stay. But despite all of the negative things, we still had an overall okay stay. The landscaping was beautiful and the weather was nice. The drinks made everything a little bit better. But if I was asked, I would not return to this property.
