The hotel was great and the staff was great. I was disappointed that luggage carts were scarce. We had a car load of college things to unload. After waiting (stalking!), we finally found a man who was returning his cart. They should really have more carts. The lady at the desk said they usually run out of them.

My prime reason for choosing this hotel was for use of the indoor pool. The water in the pool was very cloudy like it was need of cleaning. In the room. The shower had chunks of previous guest hair stuck to wall of shower and seat, so I know the tub was not cleaned from previous guest. Very overpriced and dirty with pricy breakfast buffet. I feel paying $300 a night should include complimentary breakfast. My family and I will never revisit. Staff was friendly, just poorly cleaned.

Staff were excellent property is dated. Our room was full of pee on the rugs. The food from the restaurant is actually pretty decent we had a poor boy and it tasted fresh... I will say the staff try their best. The Pool is cold and tiny so beware of coming in the winter/springtime expecting it to be warm.

The pool and fitness center were not available which was not made known until you walked in. Also we were told when we signed up for the Hilton rewards that all of the sister motels honored the program, but it seems if you go through a third party to book you don't get the rewards. For the price range a free breakfast coukd have been provided.

The beds and sheets were comfortable. The gym was nice. The entire facility needed to be updated and deep cleaned. Stains on the carpet and wallpaper was pealing. The elevator continued to be out of order as well. We also had to ask for towels. The room was spacious which was nice since there were 5 of us. Overall, I expected more for the price.

We booked this hotel because of the advertised indoor pool as our trip was a weekend of fun for our grands. The plan was to go to the LSU gymnastics meet on Friday evening and swim Saturday morning before “playing” away the day in Baton Rouge. Much to our disappointment, the pool was closed for renovations. My grands were sorely disappointed. Thank goodness the cookies were spot on! We’ll come back, but we’ll make sure the pool is open.

They have pest problems. We found cockroaches in the room. Had to spend most of the day outside for treatment only to return to the room in the evening with one new roach hanging comfortably on the wall. Next room had bedbugs. We were given a new room that appeared recently evacuated. They just threw new sheets but there were food crumbs from the last occupant. The previous room with roaches was quickly reassigned to another family. Don't get me started on the breakfast buffet. Absolute nonsense. They had broken bread toaster. That thing is literally less than 50 bucks on Amazon. Staff were courteous but they were understaffed,

The room was not clean. The bathroom toilette had urine or water in the seat and there was hair in the shower. The bathroom sink was stopped up after running water the floor was dirty aswell. The bed was nice freshly made and probably had not been changed. We complained to the frint desk but there were no other rooms available and cleaning supies were locked away.

When you walk in, the lobby had an u pleasant smell. The bathroom was not very clean and the shower backed up for each person who used it. The beds were extremely firm and the pillows are the kind that are super fluffy but flatten as you sleep on it. It didn’t matter how much we turned down the air, it never turned on and felt humid in the room. We honestly expected better for the higher rating and price. The complementary cookies were good.

This hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The lobby was welcoming and spacious. The room was fantastic. I loved the separate sitting area and the fact that it had a real working desk and a nice desk chair. The delicious cookie was the icing on the cake.

Stayed at the Doubletree for a recent visit to Baton Rouge. It was a great hotel for the trip with comfortable beds, spacious rooms and pleasant staff. Close by to downtown and many restaurant choices within 15 minutes around the hotel. Only downside was getting out of the hotel to the highway. The main road to the hotel frequently backed up for people trying to enter the highway, but that was the only issue.

The couches in our king size room were severely stained to where I would not sit on them. The bed had 4 pillows total, but they were the size of sofa pillows with no fluff. It was severely uncomfortable as we were unable to sleep due to the pillows constantly sinking. The location is fine. The price paid is not worth the stay.

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming! The check-in process was very quick and easy. The staff was the best part of my stay. I enjoyed the different amenities within the hotel as well as the location of the hotel. The hotel room was clean and organized. When needing new things the hotel staff was very quick about getting those things. Unfortunately, we did not get the opportunity to get the fresh baked cookies but those that were prepackaged were just as good.

We arrived late and was very exhausted and the front desk said my reservation was cancelled and the night shift manager said she didn’t have any rooms but I explained to her me and my sons traveled all day and he was graduating from LSU and I didn’t get no emails that my room was canceled so she gave me a room for the night and the next day we had the opportunity to go to the graduation and come back to get our luggage thanks to the 8/15/25 morning shift front desk staff lady!

Upon arrival, I waited almost 5 minutes at the front desk before I was greeted to check in. I was also told that a $50 charge needed to be collected which I paid but have yet to get it returned to my account. When we arrived to the room, there were no towels. 2 hours later is when we got towels. Bathroom shower had hair on the walls and in the drain. Two of the lights in the room didn’t work. Our room was dusty in several different parts. The lamp shade was cracked and broken. The remote control was sticky. My daughter didn’t get to enjoy the indoor pool because they had too many kids in it and they were not will to share the area with my daughter. Breakfast was $20 for myself and daughter and the options were poor considering we had to pay for it. Continental breakfasts have better options and are free.

First night room was subpar and not Double Tree standards. We asked for a different room but they were sold out our first night. The next morning by 9:30 they had us another room cleaned and moved us. That room was to standard and we enjoyed our second nights stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The price makes sense due to the connivence of being near plenty of food spots, LSU, and grocery stores. Unfortunately my car was broken into and nothing could be done. They have security that drives around and surveys the area but not until late at night. They do not have cameras either. The food is definitely not worth buying the upgrade. You are better off heading to iHop or Waffle House for breakfast. The overall hotel is very nice and clean but I saw that they do not clean thoroughly. Both times that I have stayed in this hotel, there has been hair in the bathroom and marks on windows/mirrors. The bed is comfortable and rooms are spacious. I still recommend this hotel, but you need to constantly move your car or try to get it parked in the front.

I stayed here during the weekend of an event downtown when most of the downtown hotels were booked. The location was still very convenient to downtown, both by the interstate and on ground-level streets. Very nice, modern, small suite set-up. Very stylish decor and well appointed. Nice bar and restaurant area off the lobby.

It was a good stay. Front desk comped us for overbooking and not having our king bed. Nice staff. safe area. The omelet had entirely too much vegetables. Chef has to understand the proper ratio with eggs and add on can't be 95% contents and 5% eggs. The wait staff however was nice so we still tipped 20% notwithstanding the egregious omelet

This place is a little getaway My second time staying. I love the tub and the bed is so comfy. But, honestly it’s all that I needed. I found myself thinking on this visit that I would try my luck elsewhere though. There are no amenities, and feels very much like there is no management. The front desk is abysmal and if you need anything outside of the room like the little extra comfort you are paying for- a menu in the room, room service, reliable internet … nope! The food was awful and expensive. The gent at the bar is kind and efficient but you get a sense that he knows he is not working with much. I will take my $500 bucks for two nights elsewhere maybe next time. I just kept thinking maybe I deserve a tiny bit more for this price- like really! Anyway! :) Good lick. Try next door.

We stayed on floor recently renovated and it was wonderful!! When I opened our room the smell was so amazingly beautiful!! I have stayed around the world and it was the best best fresh wonderful smell!! The bed was so comfortable that my body melted and I woke refreshed.The whole atmosphere felt quiet and peaceful. Each person working was so friendly and kind! Breakfast was a bonus which held lots of delicious choices.They will get my business again for sure and my recommendation!!!

The pool is severely undersized for the property. Only can fit a few people in it 5 at most. The room did not have linens for sleeper couch or pillows. The buffet breakfast is not worth $15. I have gotten better at places that offer free breakfast. The room had poor lights. They were either flickering or not working. Only a few lights work. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the building isn’t better maintained. I will not stay here again

The hotel room was modern which I liked. I did not like charge for breakfast even though I did pay for it. It wasn’t worth $18.99 in my opinion due to me only eating one portion.
