Property is exactly as advertised. The Kona Cabin is an outstanding alternative to staying in a hotel in either Fort Bragg or Mendocino- quiet, clean, private, and all in a lush setting within easy driving distance to everything around. My wife and I had a wonderful stay to celebrate her birthday and will definitely be booking it again the next time we go to Fort Bragg!

The owner was lovely, and she had appointed the cabin very well, however one goes to a cabin to enjoy the woods. Their garden hadn’t been touched in years and there were logs downed and left…..so that there was no place to move around but the drive-way. It made me feel sad to see where planters had once been and now were grown over. The pet friendly part was a 5 star-they had pet toys, bed and our guy has never been so comfortable and he slept through the night! My husband says the bed was like heaven. I loved the quirky kitchen-that’s what makes a cabin. Maybe different lighting their lights didn’t have shades-that was very uncomfortable for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Central location to Hoth Mendocino and Fort Bragg. Perfect location for privacy and the opportunity to enjoy the best of the outdoors. We’ll be back!

The cabin was great! It had everything you could possibly need! We had a great time exploring the area and looking for banana slugs on our morning walks. It was very cozy and a comfortable space. We loved it!
