Very clean, beautiful hotel. Our only complaint was the bar/restaurant was very short staffed. The bartender and server had to answer the room service phone line also, which often rang and rang because they were so busy and the whole bar/restaurant had to listen to a loud phone ringing. The staff also needs to tell inconsiderate guests that are having a face time conversation with someone on their phone to please take it outside!

Ein Haus dieser Klasse leider nur mittelmäßig. Zum Teil unprofessionelles Personal. Parkgebühren mit 45 € pro Tag reine Abzocke. Auf meine Nachfrage, ob es in der Nähe ein günstigeres Parkhaus gibt, wurde mir geantwortet, dass es überall so teuer sei. Die Auskunft hat sich jedoch als falsch erwiesen, da nur 8 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt ein Parkhaus mit nur 9.90€ pro Tag vorhanden ist (Ersparnis von rd. 35 € pro Tag). Es erscheint unglaubwürdig, dass dies nicht bekannt war.

Tolles Hotel mit einer super Lage. Man ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu Fuß in der Einkaufsstraße und hat viele Möglichkeiten um Essen/Trinken zu gehen. Der Spa Bereich ist super für den Ausklang am Abend.

We were informed of our upgrade at check-in. Provided on of the best spaces we’ve experienced traveling. Location was fantastic. Enjoyed a quiet nightcap in the lounge. Staff was very friendly & helpful. WiFi was good but required joining a loyalty club.

We thought this hotel was wonderful!!! We had a corner room on the upper floor and it was beautiful!!! The other person in our group had a regular room that was not quite as grand feeling. The rooms and lobby and bar are beautiful. And the location is great if you like to be where you can walk to lots of things. There is a gym and spa in the hotel. If we return to Vienna we will stay here again.

Excellent property and great attention to detail. The details matter! It made my first trip to Vienna in September very memorable. And it won't be the last! The front desk night staff and the bartenders at the hotel bar was deserve mention for great talks and going above and beyond!

The location is great. Breakfast is one of the best on my trip. We had and issue and was that we found 2 black hair on top of our bed when we arrive. We noticed them after my wife finished unpacking. The lady at the front desk offer to change to a different room. We decided to stay and they completely cleaned the room again.

Zum wiederholten mal haben wir uns für das Steigenberger Hottel für unseren Städetrip nach Wien entschieden. Im Prinzip wie immer - alles ordentlich und sauber, aufmerksame und freundliche Mitarbeiter*innen, eine tolle Lage und ein klasse Frühstücksbüffet. Überrascht waren wir nur, dass die Zimmerreinigung nicht erfolgt ist. Es ist nicht so, dass wir ein großes Durcheinander hinterlassen haben und natürlich benötigen wir nicht täglich neue Handtücher - wir hätten uns lediglich gerne ins frisch gemachte Bett gelegt. Bei der Abreise habe ich das an der Rezeption erwähnt, das hat die Mitarbeitende nicht interessiert, es erfolgte auch keine Erklärung. An dieser Stelle waren wir zumindest verwundert, kommen werden wir natürlich wieder.

Excellent location and nice facility. King size bed room was reserved but not given at check in, so had to change rooms. Room was consistently very hot which resulted in lack of sleep. Asked front desk but no one was sent to help. Shower head position seemed uncomfortable. Also no help was sent for that.

Servicen var i top fra det øjeblik, vi ankom – venligt og professionelt personale, der var imødekommende og altid klar til at hjælpe. Alt fra check-in til roomservice fungerede gnidningsfrit og effektivt. Hotellets beliggenhed kunne ikke være bedre – midt i hjertet af Wien, tæt på alle de vigtigste seværdigheder, gode restauranter og shoppingmuligheder. Vi kunne gå til både Hofburg, Stephansdom og den smukke Volksgarten. Værelset var rummeligt, moderne og lydisoleret, med en behagelig seng og alle de faciliteter, man kan forvente på et hotel i denne klasse. Morgenmaden var også et højdepunkt – lækker, varieret og med noget for enhver smag. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen – en absolut anbefaling!

Uninterested personnel, hot and dry rooms regardless of what you try, turn air conditioning off, open windows, strangely, annoyingly hot and dry, we were told to wait 15min to check us in, waited for 45min then went to ask at the desk, room was ready, but they just forgot to notify us as we sat 5m away from the checkin desk.

It is a lovely hotel in a great location. The staff is very friendly. Clean and safe. The only challenge was with the front desk. Upon arrival I was told that I had not paid in advance, which I had. That’s ok and was told it was taken care of, it was not, as when I checked out I was again told I owed money. Very frustrating. We also asked for a corkscrew that was to be sent to our room. After an hour we were told there were not any available. Also asked to arrange a taxi to depart early in the morning. The taxi was not ordered and we had to flag one down. All the staff were very friendly but we were frustrated

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Staff were very professional, with no problem speaking English. Steigenberger hotel is so close to Michaelerplatz which was brilliant for getting to see places on foot. A special thanks to one of the receptionists named Y. Pena Mata. She was so hard working and always greeted myself and my husband with a lovely smile, a credit to the hotel. We will definitely return.

If I had one suggestion for anyone who is asking- stay at this hotel! The hotel is perfectly situated close to all the major attractions, shopping and dining. The staff there, especially Ahmed R, at reception, are more than helpful and knowledgeable with there recommendations and suggestions to whatever you may be looking for. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean! Try the breakfast buffet- you won’t be disappointed!! All five stars at a very reasonable price. Loved our time there. Thank you!

I want to thank Mat for his kindness in helping us print physical copies of tickets required by the venue. He was so patient and professional and really went the extra mile. He also provided us with a spot on restaurant recommendation.

Hotel is in a great location Within walking distance to all the sights. Few minutes walk to the Rathaus Christmas market and cafe central a few steps away. The U Bahn is right outside the hotel so great access to everywhere around the city. Room was lovely very clean and spacious. Breakfast was also very nice with a good selection.

The location is perfect !! Hotel is beautiful , location very very convenient, very good place it’s a good location to walk around there! The staff are so kind and prompt Restaurant has Great wines and good cheese selection to go with ! L'hôtel est parfaitement situé au centre de la ville avec une station de métro juste à côté. L'établissement est moderne et bien entretenu. La réception n'est pas très réactive et le petit-déjeuner, bien qu'excellent, est bondé. Cela reste un bon choix pour un séjour de quelques jours à Vienne.
