La Quinta by Wyndham Atlanta Douglasville

At first I was in room 105 which faced the parking lot, the curtains wouldn't close all the way, I went to the front desk and they gave me a different room. Both treadmills were out of order, I was bummed about that.

standard breakfast was good. pool was excellent. Staff is excellent. Gym decently equipped and clean

I love its proximity to all essential and the staffs were great. I loved the coffee. I wished the pool had safety floaters for children for travelers.

Only 1 of the 2 elevators was working when I was there for 3 nights. The toaster only toasted in 1 slot. There was no syrup for the waffles/pancakes. No night/early morning person to do checkouts for guests leaving prior to 6 am (I left at 4:30 am).

I loved my stay at this hotel. Very clean. I really enjoyed the pool and great hot breakfast. The staff was very professional and understanding.

They accepted our dog for a fee ($25). Nice clean room. Repairing side walk while there.

Clean room, affordable. Hard to find parking

We arrived in town after midnight, the front desk worker was not very cordial or welcoming. The building looked nice, but it had a horrible, musty smell. When we got into the room, it smelled like piss. I booked at this hotel because they had a pool for my kids, but it wasn't open even though it was after Memorial Day and warm outside. I would have chosen another hotel if I had known the pool wasn't open. On a positive note, the breakfast was great, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice, but I don't think we will stay there again.

I’ll start with the fact I was stuck in the elevator, the front desk knew about it and did nothing about it. Even after she said I’m not the first one to be stuck in the elevator. Odd smell in the lobby, hallways, my room and near the breakfast area. Parking lot is small

I didn't know it was a pet friendly facility, I would have preferred not being in one but i still had a comfortable stay.

As much as I hate to make a bad review since we stay at this hotel each time we come to Atlanta on a 6 hour drive to go to Winship Cancer at Emory every 6 months for the last 2 years, for my daughters scans and oncology visit,here I go. This time my sister drove her to ATL for her apt as I was unable to. They got in to the hotel a bit late after a long day at Emory, and soon when right to bed. It wasnt until the next morning that they BOTH found dried blood and men's beard hair all over and in BOTH beds. My daughter is immuno compromised, so this was more than upsetting. Unwashed, bloody, hairy sheets were slept on by both of them unbeknownest to them. The manager and supervisor both refused to call me back. I paid for this hotel stay, I do every time. The booking was in my name, they took my money and REFUSED to communicate with me. After 2 years of consistently staying at this location, we will never again. So very, very disappointed. I will be going to corporate offices due to their refusal to communicate with me about this matter. They did go immediately to clean the room and change the disgusting sheets, but that does not make up for this, at all.

La Quinta did not disappoint. The staff was very helpful and courteous. My room was very clean everday and comp toiletries were plentiful. Breakfast was not half bad.

Room smelled like pee

Lobby smelled horrible the entire time we were here. Small roaches in our room and bathroom throughout the stay.

This was a good property,clean and convenient but it has a stale odor from the moment you walk in and even in the room. We were in room 515

Room had an odor of mildew. Bathroom had water on the floor and was not all that clean. Check in was very slow and the clerk seemed confused about the process. There was no one there to check out with.

One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in! Great breakfast

Overall, the hotel was clean and updated. The hotel had a musty odor in different places. I’m not sure if all rooms allow pets, but we did not bring any animals and we were assigned a room that had pet dander, which affected our allergies and a strong urine smell in the carpet (room 407). The room was mostly clean, but we did find a hair on the sheet and on the tub. Other than that, it was a nice hotel and the front desk staff was very friendly.

Pretty good stay for the cost. Breakfast was the best thing. Really tasty with lots of options, especially for a complimentary breakfast. The only downside was the lobby always smelled bad, like wet, musty clothes or something. Other than that, which we tried to just not be in the lobby too long, the stay was great. Very, very happy about how quiet it was. Room very clean.

Cockroaches in our room! We had to kill 5 cockroaches within 5 minutes of entering the room... gross!! They didn’t have any open rooms but offered to spray the room for us. We have an infant so we declined. They gave us a small discount and we had to buy traps at the store because they didnt have any. Pillows are also not what they used to be... I remember la quintas have fluffy pillows but now they're pretty flat. Overall pretty disappointing for the price.

Clean hotel, comfortable room, quick and easy check-in, friendly staff. First floor room near the breakfast area is a bit noisy in the early morning hours, so ask for an upper floor if you're trying to sleep in.

Room was clean and ideally laid out. Customer service was excellent.

AC set on 68 but room stayed hot. Opened the curtains and cockroaches run across the windowsill.

It smelled when you walk in. We stayed on the 3rd floor and every morning, we were woke up by the elevator ding around 5am consistently until 10-11AM.

The only problem we encountered was extremely loud noises in the hall outside our room. We were awakened around 1AM to very loud talking in the hall. There was loud talking and hollering multiple times on Saturday night, Sunday morning.

It was ok for 1 night. The beds are not comfortable at all and on the 1st floor there is a lot of in and out the side doors all night and people being inconsiderate and letting it slam.

Was a great place to stay. Nice sized room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was pretty good as well.

The property is clean and the management friendly, but the property could use some updating. The door to our bathroom looked like it had been beat. The beds were comfy and I slept well. It just looked worn, but clean.

The room and bed were wonderful. My only complaint, if you can call it that, would be the way hotel room doors slam so loud. Check out isn’t until 11 and I don’t know if it was housekeeping or just other guests but the doors slamming starting around 8am was annoying after driving for 10 hours and wanting to sleep in.

The staff is AMAZING! My flight landed at 9am and they were able to accommodate an early check-in. They were friendly and professional. My room was clean and fully stocked. Breakfast was great too.

The staff was polite and helpful. The maid service was great. The breakfast and breakfast staff were good.

Also this was the first time this was an issue but there was very little breakfast available by the time I got there at 7 am each morning. There was never anyone there working to correct this issue.

After checking into the room and then going to the room, we seen our room was not even cleaned after the prior guest! We went back to the desk and reported this and they could not give us another room because the hotel was fully booked and told us we can go to another hotel in the area. First off, all the hotels in the area WERE FULLY BOOKED, second off we had 6 other rooms that were booked with our party so we couldn’t move hotels! There was no housekeeping available to clean the room so we were stick to clean and strip our own room!! The front desk clerk Carol was rude and racist. Did not speak to ANY minorities that came in, did not assist in anything!! She works in a customer service agency, you can not act like that! We have to now go through the process our selves to get a full refund for this stay!

The location is excellent, close to everything you might need. The Front Desk Representative that checked us in was very nice and efficient. She had all the important information and was able to get us checked in quickly. Kudos to her, as she set the tone for our stay. Would stay again.

Hotel staff was very pleasant & very helpful suggesting restaurants. Parking very easy & close. Our room is very nice & clean, a/c perfect, bed very comfortable. Would give overall A+

Very disappointed in the lack of urgency from the desk agents at this hotel. Nothing seemed of significance to them and everything we asked for they were like you can come down and get it. Upon checking in they put the wrong check out day so I could not get in my room and had to go back down to update my key after being out all day at an event. Additionally, I have never had a problem w/ a late check out - when I requested a late check out I was told I had to be a Wyndham Priority member or something but no one told me that prior to me booking the reservation. It was just a very disappointing stay - I will never stay at another LaQuinta Inn ever.

Rude front desk

The property was in close proximity to a shopping plaza and restaurants. The room was very clean.

Easy to get to from the airport. Conveniently located near Walmart, gas stations and restaurants.

Right off the interstate, easily accessible.

Quiet area, convenient to the interstate and restaurants

Property and rooms well maintained and clean. Walking distance to dining and shopping. Staff cordial and professional.

Vagrants were searching through the trash bins of the hotel entrance. The room had been broken into causing the lock to be broken off the door with no way to lock the door. People wandered the hallway late at night banging on the door at 4:30am. The room key disabled before checkout of 11am locking us out of our room & hotel. The atmosphere was unsafe and uncertain of break-in or theft.

The pictures give the impression that it’s a newer hotel—it’s not. We got there at 11 pm and there was a homeless man digging through the trash at the front entrance and stared at us as we unloaded everything from our car. We were on the tail end of a 10 day trip and had only planned on bringing in necessities but given the homeless guy and the other 3 random people roaming the parking lot, we brought in everything. The room we got first only slept two people and we have 4 and the bathroom of the second room was filthy—my shoes stuck to the tile like in dirty restaurants. My oldest said she wasn’t eating breakfast there based on the condition of the room. We happened to be driving through when the All Star game was in town so it was one of the only options but, had it not been so late, we would’ve kept driving.

I liked the La Quinta Inn itself. It was clean, orderly, the staff was helpful, and the restrooms were adequate in the rooms. Yes, there were beer cans around the light poles in the parking lot, but I disposed of them. I didn't see a big homeless population or anything, so that was fine. The hotel is next to the freeway, close to a Walmart and a Kroger, and near the event that I was going to.

Great location

The room were spacious and very clean. The bathroom was well stocked and clean. It was located next to a shopping plaza with plenty of diningboptions. Very conveniently located to highway access.

Excellent stay! Impressive breakfast

The overall hotel appeared to be mostly clean. However, there was a strong odor of pet urine throughout the hotel. The breakfast was good and plentiful. It's in a great location; close to restaurants and stores.

Accommodations met my expectations in comfort, customer service and amenities. One minor hiccup on my final day (5 day stay), otherwise excellent stay. A plus: breakfast experience was exceptional every day. Thanks to room staff and those that managed breakfast. Kentucky Guest

Hot breakfast was outstanding. Toilet in room was extremely low, not ADA compliant. Anyone with the slightest mobility problem will have difficulty using it.
