Elevator was down for 1.5 days and the elevator light button on the 19th floor did not illuminate when calling for an elevator, so we did not know if the elevator was being called or not. Had to take the stairs down when the elevator was down due to the wait times.

The property was close in proximity to what I needed. The elevator broke the second day there (out of 5) and never got repaired. A nightmare to get to the 26 th floor WITH NO HELP FROM THE FRONT DESK OR MANAGEMENT!!! Horrible!! Internet went out, no compensation

Clean room. Great view of the city. Friendly staff and very attentive. Draw back was the facility has 2 elevators and one quit working. WiFi went out for several hours and the phone was out. Went to the bar and could not have a cocktail because they were out of ice.

There are only 2 elevators for over 20 floors and housekeeping uses these 2 elevators as well which means once you get on the elevator it's likely going to stop on every floor. While we were there one elevator went out and within a few hours the 2nd elevator went out (first one still not fixed).

Just around the corner from Penn Station and MSG. I just wish they had a staff elevator because there are times during the day that the staff rules the elevators. Once you figure out those times, no complaints.

The bathtub faucet temperatures were the opposite to the labels, so I initially thought we had no hot water. Toilet kept filling if one did that consciously lift the flush after flushing. Rooms were very cramped, but mostly quiet (from street, although not from internal noise from the hallway). Room AC unit was effective. My keycard reset itself once which required me going down to reception. Only 2 elevators for ~25(?) floors, each with 6-8 rooms I think - very long wait times for elevators. I was on 6th floor so used stairs most of the time. Gym was tiny and mainly had cardio equipment, only dumbells up to 50lbs. Staff were lovely and helpful though, I got a late checkout no problem.

All I can say is thank goodness we were only on the 5th Floor because we had to take the stairs ALOT due to only one working elevator that is used for guests and staff. The front desk and workers were great but the elevator situation was beyond frustrating.

My stay was just okay. management was quite responsive. I found three bugs in my bed on my first night and had my room changed. I received a letter saying that their pest control inspected the room and confirmed there were no bedbugs. I didn’t know one bugs in my bed, but there were bugs. I have a picture and a video. Overall, the room is old, the building is old. The furniture and bathroom are old and have poor ventilation. i brought my own portable air filter. There were only 2 elevators used by guests and staff. So, expect some delays. I was moved to a lower floor thus could take the stairs to get out of the property even during checkout. So, if you’re disabled, expect delay.. and good luck. The lobby is tiny, only has 3 seats. It does have outside seating but many guests cant read or ignore ‘No Smoking’ warning which is not enforced. So unless you like to have lung cancer, this terrace is perfect for you. One day i came back to the room and it was still uncleaned. So I had to wait in their tiny lobby until 6:10pm and fell asleep there because i was so tired. I’m glad I decided to stay at another hotel for another trip. i wouldn’t be coming back here. There are better options in NYC. It was my mistake thinking a Double Tree/Hilton property would be up to its regular standard.

The room and bathroom were very clean. Very comfortable. Cleaned daily. The staff was very friendly. Great view from the 22nd floor. The shower gel, shampoo, and lotion was plentiful in large bottles!! I would stay here again.

Amazing staff, comfortable bed and pillows, nice linens. Very loud hotel, the rooms are very acoustically live, I could hear everything in my neighboring rooms and the hallways are an echo chamber. There is also what I can only describe as a ongoing mechanical moan or whine. After listening to it every night I think it has to do with the cold water pipes.

The walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything happening outside of your room. Also there are only two elevators for a 20 building. We found ourselves waiting for 10 min at times for the elevator.

Just that they had only 2 small elevators serving entire 27 floor building. Long waits for elevator use. Otherwise a fantastic place. Special mention must be made about the beddings. Best bed 🛌 i have ever slept in bar none. Heavenly . And I'm being very candid. Spectacularly comfortable.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but in this case it is warranted. We booked a King suite for 4 people, but upon arriving found that there was only bedding and towels for 2. No big deal, we asked them to provide the bedding for the pullout sofa and additional towels. The request was made at the desk; no towels. The hotel sent me a text message asking how the stay was going and did we need anything. I responded yes -- please send additional bath towels to our room. No response and no towels. We called the front desk and said, we have an event to go to and all 4 people in the room need to shower but we have no towels, please provide 2 more bath towels right way. No towels were sent. We finally had to leave for then event with no showers. Similarly there was a loose piece of wood between our door and the hallway and we reported it figuring they would fix it immediately as it was a trip hazard. We mentioned it several times during our stay and it was never repaired. The staff were friendly, but didn't seem to actually do anything. One staff member offered to help us arrange private transportation to an event. Wonderful -- this was a big help. Except when we arrived back to the hotel to catch the car service, it turns out the driver canceled and no one from the hotel let us know. This caused unnecessary stress and wasted time and ended up being very frustrating and poor service. Finally, the elevators in this hotel are woefully inadequate for the size of the building - long waits.

The room was totally fine, nice New York City hotel in Chelsea, I accidentally left my work keys in my hotel room and the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and was able to ship my keys to me down in Florida, I really appreciated that and it shows that the staff Care about what they are doing and have consideration for their customers so I highly recommend this property

I work for a Five Diamond Hotel and have worked at Luxury Properties all over North American and I would put this staff up against any of my best colleagues. I am not usually picky about what hotel I stay at in New York as long as it’s clean, when one from my brand isn’t available. But with this staff and the value, you are now my hotel of choice.

The staff was excellent! I arrived before check-in and they gladly tagged the bags and put them in a safe area until I returned. They even called to tell me when my room was ready. I dropped a used play ticket in the lobby, they called my room to see if I wanted it, then saved it so I could pick it up. All of the employees I interacted with were so friendly and helpful!

Allll the staff are amazing and kind. Individuals at checkin, individuals cleaning the rooms, bartenders all were welcoming and friendly. Food and drinks from the restaurant was delicious, room was more spacious than any other in city hotel I’ve stayed in. Only down side was definitely the elevator, having stayed in floor 22 it took us almost 40 mins one morning just to get an elevator to our floor. This is not the hotels fault and completely out of their control but definitely something to think about if visiting with accessibility needs and taking the stairs is not an option.

The rooms are very small. for the price charged, it is not worth. People are good and helpful at Reception, Restaurant (Philly was helpful). Good breakfast choices. Better to book without breakfast and pay onsite. location is great for walking around. mattress is extra soft and creates backache. I would prefer a bit firm mattress.

The front manager, Dawn was outstanding and so was her team. This was my second stay at this property. The first time was excellent. This time the appliances in the room were not in working condition. Even though they tried to fix it, they were unsuccessful. The dining area needs work, nowhere to throw out garbage and hours of kitchen service is very limited

Good location and friendly staff. However, this hotel is not up to the standard of other Hilton hotels I have stayed at. Limited choice of hot food at breakfast, no coffee machine, only hot water in flasks. No healthy cereal, no mueslii or granola, pancakes were hard, crunchy and inedible. Not worth $25. Very noisy mainly due to clunky door mechanisms which seemed difficult to close quietly. There were doors banging throughout the night so barely slept. Housekeeping knock on the doors at around 9.00ish and regardless of whether you have a come back later sign on door seem to chat loudly and make lots of noise in the corridor, so you can’t even have a lie in! I have to say despite this, housekeeper was very thorough and cleaned with fresh towels each day. I think first impressions are not good either. When we arrived at Reception there was a long queue of people waiting to check in and only 1 man trying to process everyone. A cookie was hurriedly handed to us on check in which is a nice gesture that is wasted when all you want to do is get to your room. At busy check in times, why not have more staff available? Maybe someone to greet, hand out cookies and water? I would not stay at this hotel again.
