It's a Holiday Inn - it's not going to be fancy. But it was very clean, well-appointed and the staff was friendly. I arrived 1/2 hour early for breakfast and decided to sit down with a cup of coffee to wait. The person managing the breakfast area offered to open it up for me. I told her that wasn't necessary but she said it's done, enjoy it. The breakfast was more robust than I was expecting with lots of options. The pool area was lovely and the snack options at the front desk were priced nicely - I liked being able to let the kids charge to the room. The fitness area is tiny. Luckily, I prefer being lazy.

Worst experience ever. The ac in the room fid not work correctly. We had it set at 64 and it was about 78 in the room. Hot tub only had 2 jets working. Black mold on the ceiling in the hottub and pool area. Got woke up by staff atound 745ish to clean our room and check out was not till 11. Tried talking with staff to get issue resolved and they would not do nothing. Will not be staying there again. Even tried to get hotels.com to help resilve the issue and they would not resolve it correctly. They took the hotels word over the guest who has photos

The hotel was really nice. Breakfast in the morning was good with a good variety of options. There was , fresh ground coffee machine. The only disappointment was the poor was very cold and the hot tub jets didn’t work.

Great hotel and location. Good breakfast, seating is a bit limited if they are full. Parking is also a challenge if the hotel is full. Room was nice, however it had the tallest bed I've ever seen in a hotel. I am 5'1" and could not get in bed without using the chair in the room as a step stool. Definitely made for a good laugh each night, butvwas very comfortable once in bed.

While checking in a woman outside was reporting that she had been attacked. Police were outside when we went down to swim police were speaking with her. When we left for dinner there was a high speed pursuit. Keys were not working great, carpet was dirty and room smelled musty. There were “hairs” in the bathroom and the refrigerator was so loud we actually unplugged it to sleep. Woke up to staff vacuuming the hall. Breakfast had VERY limited gluten-free items. Yogurts were out of date and when staff what options there were, her response was pancakes (they did not say gluten free) when I sat down my coffee had a fly in it.

I always try to stay here when in Sedalia because I've never had a bad experience! Rooms are big, clean & comfortable. I love that the beds have 4 normal size, comfy pillows! They have a great breakfast! Close to dining options & shopping! Just a great stay!

The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean. The only down-side is that the cleaning staff starts EARLY and there is very little insulation in the building- making it noisy. We woke up by 6:30a from all the noise above us and in the hallway. But, I would certainly stay here again!

The only thing I didn't like is that they have gone to the 'HARD' mattresses like most of the other hotels. I understand they are doing this because they last longer. The hard mattresses make my back HURT. Shouldn't a guests comfort be more important.

If you are a light sleeper, make sure to request a room on the 3rd floor. I forgot to request that this year and I ended up on the first floor. I didn’t sleep at all the first night. Noisy people in the the room above me, could hear the person snoring next door, doors to nearby rooms slamming, and could even hear people talking in the parking lot right outside my room. I stopped by the front desk to see if there were any rooms open upstairs and she was able to move me. I wish I had gotten her name to give her credit here because she was super understanding and helpful. Overall, great hotel, good location, easy parking, top-notch breakfast.

Breakfast was good. Do not like the hard mattresses that most of the hotels have gone to, because they last longer. A quest comfort should be more important. I like a mattress that has a little softness to it. Plus the bed was a little high to get up on. Also, would like a comfy chair in the corner to sit in and watch TV or take a nap. All in all, very good hotel.

. My family lives in Sedalia. I stay at this hotel for it's comfortable rooms. The beds are top notch 4star hotel beds and the bedding itself is top of the line.i stayed there the weekend before and my tv would not come on. 3rdcqtr of super bowl. The desk agent came up and did the usual turn off on. Unplug .it rebooted and I saw the last 8 minutes and the chiefs win! That is service.

Overall our stay was very good. Our two small complaints are that housekeeping knocked on our door to service the room at 730am despite our Do Not Disturb sign being on the door. And the mornings were checking out, we got a call from the front desk at 8:15 to verify some account information, even though we were still trying to sleep. Could this not have waited until we checked out? I appreciate the staff trying to be thorough, and everyone was friendly, I just would have liked to sleep in once.
