The Staff was fantastic! The bellhops and valet personnel are second to none! Great experience with their interactions. Rooms were excellent! Clean, decorated nice and the bed was very comfortable! We will be returning for our next visit!

We had a lovely stay at the Royal Sonesta! The location was excellent; the property was beautiful - well-maintained and clean. Staff was fantastic all around, from the gentleman at the front door to the front desk staff, and the restaurant staff as well, where we had a delicious breakfast and chatted with some lovely fellow guests while we ate. On the negative side, and these are very small inconveniences, we didn't get fresh kleenex for the bathroom, so we took some from the housekeeper's cart. The TV reception was quite poor on many of the channels (I know - lots of people don't even watch the TVs in hotel rooms anymore!), and the fridge made a lot of noise! I suppose we could have asked for assistance with these things, but as I said, these were very small inconveniences, we were only there for three nights, and we were really only in our room at night. Everything else was great, and the rate was super for a downtown Chicago hotel, so I do recommend the Royal Sonesta!

Great location! Great Staff! Very Accommodating! We had a one year old with us and this property was great and very easily walkable to all the good spots. The staff was helpful with all our special needs and we were upgraded to a fantastic room through my Expedia status that was perfect for our little one. Highly recommend!
