Nice independent hotel. As others have mentioned the noise from the road is so loud and constant. But if you have some decent ear plugs that shouldn't stop you staying here. Great location for dinner at the Quay and free parking. O ly slight downside was having to pay £10 for a lost room card whilst standing watching them put a newpiece of plastic in the machine to allocate to room. This shouldn't really be £10 as the rooms are probably expensive enough. I'd probably stay again but mainly because of the location and parking. Staff are pleasant enough. Breakfast ok - altho the sausages were as cheap as chips.

Ive stayed here many times no issues! Large car park, to the rear , freshly cooked breakfast each morning , they don’t do evening meals, so it’s either 10 minute walk to the pub one way or the other way is 20 minute walk into exeter for something to eat. Where there plenty of choice

The staff were friendly, it was clean and the breakfast was nice. However the room was very small and it overall feels was a little dated.
