First off, the staff was very nice. They did their best but check in was very late. Did the online at 10:30 am and still our room wasn’t ready till after 5pm. The TV was broken when we got in the room. The pool was freezing. It was just a frustrating experience overall.

When we checked in the lady who helped us was great. When explored the place, were happy to see EV charging stations, our room had a fireplace, there was a pool, gym and hot tub. A bar at the front desk and continental breakfast in the morning. Check for having everything... however the fireplace didn't work and they couldn't move us to a room with a working fireplace (said our room was the only one with a fireplace). The pool was cold and the hot tub was luke warm. The gym required front desk to open rather than room keys. The night person made late checkout very inconvinient. We noted a disability and reluctantly extended our checkout without charge. The property has everything it needs to be excellent including a decent amount of shops in the area and close to downtown Kingston, however they need to improve service and maintenance.

While the room itself had been recently renovated and was in good shape, the main floor corridor is a smelly disaster. The EV car charger system required a special code that the hotel didn’t have, so took 45 minutes to get that working at 1:30am which was frustrating. We looked at the included breakfast and left without eating...

For the price we were very satisfied with the motel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The complimentary continental breakfast had various choices: cereal, hard boiled eggs, toast, pancakes, fruit and yogurt. Nearby there were quite a few fast food restaurants as well as a restaurant steps away. The pool area was a bit of a let down, however. The temperature of the room was cold, the paint in the pool was peeling, it could have cleaner and the hot tub jets were very weak. I also found that it was over-chlorinated so I couldn’t swim for too long but we were still able to enjoy it overall as the pool temperature was decent and the hot tub was very warm. We would stay here again.

Not a place to stay if you are going as a group or team. We were not allowed to check in until exactly 3pm, unless paying a $40 fee. Once we got our room, there were no towels. The phone was broken and the ceiling was stained in the bathroom. The pool area was ok, however the paint is chipping, by child cut herself on a tile getting out of the pool, and it was a battle to get towels from the front desk. The hot tub was disgusting. There were globs of hair floating in the water. The water was green and brown. Breakfast was minimal and very disappointing. Both days were pancakes, hardboiled eggs, toast or cereal. When the juice syrup ran out "they didn't have any more" to replace it with. At no point through out the day could you sit in the lobby. Whether to enjoy a change of scenery, play cards with friends, or to sit at the tables having a drink. You were immediately met by staff or security stating you "must return to your room". If you are looking for a social get away, stay clear of this hotel, unfortunately. If you are looking for a quieter place, where you are not allowed to leave your room, by all means book. We will not be returning. Very disappointed!

When we first entered our initial room, it was incredibly moist and smelled mouldy/ stinky. There was also what look to be blood and bugs all over the curtains. I went up to the front desk and the young gentleman working was incredibly helpful. He wrote down all the available rooms and took me on a tour of them to pick which one I wanted.. Unfortunately, all of the rooms on the first floor smelled mouldy and moist. We finally picked the least stinky of all the rooms, we had the air conditioner running while we were out. As soon as we turned off the air-conditioning, a smell of rotting filled the room. We turned the air-conditioning back on and the smell dissipated, but unfortunately, we had to sleep in an icy air-conditioned room all night. Paying over $200 a night for this room I was super disappointed it was gross. As well, one of the mattresses was nice and soft uncomfortable, the other one felt like a hard piece of cardboard. But the staff was very friendly and helpful, and tried to help me however they could, but the building is just gross.

The hot tub was filthy. There was hair floating in it and when the staff were informed, they did nothing. The decor hasn't been updated since it was First Canada Inn. Breakfast was ok. The beds were very uncomfortable

The hitel is clean. Old building with updated rooms. There was a significant gap between the door and door frame. I could hear everything out in the hall and most of what was going on in neighbouring rooms. The fitted sheets were not a good fit and kept slipping off the mattress which was annoying overnight.

My companion and I felt the beds were very uncomfortable and should be replaced. I expressed this to the front desk and they offered to put us in another room but could not confirm it was a newer bed so we decided to stay rather than pack up our things and unpack in a room with another old and terrible bed. The pillows on the beds were also terrible since they contained a chopped foam rather than a solid foam and were not comfortable. I came to enjoy a good sleep while I attended a medical appointment but was very disappointed in the quality of accommodations. I will not stay at the Days Inn Kingston by Wyndham ever again.

Wall is very thin and we could here all neighbors talking or watching tv so until everyone sleeps near by, hard to sleep. Room is ok since i was there just to sleep but not quiet until bit late. There was breakfast for free. No scramble egg or bacon kind of breakfast but simple stuff like bagle, yogurt, cereals etc. I had to leave early so it was nice to grab coffee and bagel to go.

Great value for the $$ if you're not expecting a 5 star hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious and quite comfortable. Only complaint is for the love of baby puppies, time to upgrade your TV's. A 15 year old TV with lines running top to bottom on the right hand side warrants 1 star off.

Clean. However, generally when checking into a hotel, you check in when you arrive. And check in is usually after 3pm. I received a message saying if I didn’t check in or call back before 3pm they were going to cancel my reservation. I didn’t receive this messsge right away due to travel. Definitely not a great first impression or customer experience

The room and lobby were clean. A bit odd that the hottub wasn’t working as online reviews make it sound like this has been an issue for some time. Definitely some signs of wear/tear on the ceilings/showers of the hotel. It has the potential to be a pretty nice hotel if some of these things are upgraded or maintained. It was pretty good otherwise. Only complaint about the service is that no one was at the front desk when I went to check out but I get that they must have been busy. Good stay overall.

I usually don’t write reviews, but the overnight stay was quite a negative experience. There were several different sets of noisy guests consistently throughout the night, and despite contacting the front desk multiple times between 11:30 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. (with the noise continuing until past 4:30 a.m.), there took no effective action. The first time we complained, the staff actually gave our room number to one of the noisy guests which felt like a serious breach of privacy. We ended up having to keep going back to the front desk each time, but they remained reactive rather than proactive, and the noise was never properly addressed. We got no sleep, and it was a completely frustrating experience.

I decided to stay a second night when I checked in. I didn’t go through Expedia. They gave me a price and today when I was out they called me and asked what I wanted done with my things. I told them to leave alone that I was staying another night. They had no record of it and the manager was very rude to me and the price jumped 25$. Never stay there

It was close to the 401 highway. There was a restaurant bar across the road or you could walk to wendys, tim hortons, McDonalds. There was also no frills, the beer store, LCBO and canadian tire in the same area. Also a bus stop right out front too if you wanted to take it. They had an indoor pool and a hot tub. Good for the coming weather where you cant swim outside!!

The room was quite clean and comfortable. I choose this hotel because it sits just off a main road into Queen’s University. It is well located for getting into Kingston and then immediately onto the HWY 401. The parking is so easy to find. Well lit outside for security. The housekeeping staff were so great. The few I encountered in the halls were so genuinely friendly. I appreciate the work they do very much.

Good location with access to highway 401 and short drive into downtown. Facility itself has had a facelift in some areas but is fairly dated overall. It was clean, and it suited our needs for an overnight stop and brief tourist visit of Kingston.

Customer engagement by your staff (especially Jeet at check-in) has been exceptional. Property is clean and well kept. Continental BF definitely didn’t meet anyone’s expectations and ranked bottom of any of our similar property stays (Comfort Inn). Coffee not brewed by 6a and almost 100% bread/carb offerings.

Nice large clean rooms. Only 2 floors. There is an elevator if needed. Free breakfast in the morning of cereal, yogurts, fruit, toast, pancakes and hard boiled eggs plus coffee or tea and juices.
