Standard hotel and room in this chain of hotels/motels. Nothing to add. There are a number of fast food places in walking distance - went to One Eyeed Jack recommended by receptionist. OK food and price matching.

We were given a wheelchair accessible room, though neither of us are in a wheelchair. As the shower had no lower lip, when we took a shower, the water went all over the bathroom floor and out into the bedroom area. We had to use all of our towels to soak up the water. When we asked the front desk for my towels, none were ever delivered. The bed was horrible. Hard as sleeping on the floor. Both my wife and i have back problems and after attempting to sleep on that mattress for the night (neither of us got a good nights rest) both of our backs were in bad shape the next day. We asked the front desk to be moved to a different room, only to be told that there were no other rooms available. The ceiling in the pool area has the drywall falling down. On two occasions when using the pool area, there were no towels in the area. We notified the front desk and none were ever delivered. We went back to our rooms dripping water through the lobby. The free breakfast - is pretty standard - except that fact that it was not kept stocked. The steam tables were repeatedly emptied and we had to go seek out the staff ( who were in the kitchen area having jolly conversations and not paying attention to their jobs). Finally, the price. Quite ridiculous. We will not be returning and recommend others to seek alternative lodging

Was surprised that there was a $6 per night parking fee, unusual for a hotel not in a city centre. The WiFi was extremely slow compared to other hotels.

While the hotel is clean, I was quite surprised that this hotel does not have a smart tv. You are not able to stram anything on the tv. Never experienced this before. It's time to get with it Holiday Inn!

Excellent staff, friendly and very helpful. Room was clean but missing minor things— ie ice bag for bucket. Beds and room were both very comfortable. Narrow pillows were unusual. We requested additional pillows which added to our comfort. Pool was enjoyable, but no towels! I had called front desk beforehand to confirm there were towels available in pool area. Was told there were but there were not. Ongoing room door access issues were very frustrating. Had to have access card recoded multiple times. Also, door was not always locking when we exited the room, posing a security concern. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast fare- appreciated turkey bacon option. Food was well stocked and eating area was well kept. Parking filled up at night but lots of overflow parking on neighbouring properties. Location worked for us— close to highway, lots of nearby stores/amenities and relatively easy access to downtown.
