It was okay… clean , overall… but it could be better.the pool was down- this was the main reason we got a hotel for the night! Service was minimal - kids running around in the halls all day and night screaming and yelling.. but other than said things it was okay…

We stayed on the 4th floor (rm. #403). The toilet had flushing problems- as did the sink (draining problems). Parking was dismal (@ best). The hotel was pretty-much full.. Parking was full (of course). Some of the entry (keyed) doors weren't working. Making the walk around the facility, to find an entrance that the key-card would work in, was quite frustrating.. The night was cold and the walk extensive (from where we had to park-late @night) ... Other than those mentioned, the facility was clean and the staff very nice..

Our room was 206, we had 2 queen beds , my bed the mattress was horrible. Both sides were very sagged like the coils were shot . Other than that our stay was fine , also sad that the cocktail lounge has been closed since Covid . The breakfast was great , too bad they don’t offer a free modified that is free.

The first night we went to tell the front desk that the carpet was soaked all in front of the window. Guy came to say that the AC was leaking. The solution was to turn off the AC. It was so hot in the room the next day and night. The bathroom shower and corners of room have black mold. I assume it is the leak issue because after the AC was shut off it was quite moist in the room. I spoke to the desk again. No fixes no apologies etc. Also a very loud hotel since the people partying in the pool area late at night echoes into the rooms.

I stayed here in March this year 2 nights. Had a good experience. Stayed 4/6 the price had nearly double, I think for the solar eclipse. In the room we found hair/ pubic hair near the drain in the shower. The hand soap near the sink was empty. We had to reach into the shower for soap. I took pictures if anyone would like to see. I feel we should be compensated in some manner.

Sheets creased—I was told by General Manager Joe that they don’t iron their sheets. Bed mattress in Suite 511 was too saggy. The TV lacked half the premium channels they claimed to have. Room is not properly soundproofed from a major road throughAuburn NY. Air conditioner/heater element is somewhat loud. Staff are friendly. Room was spacious.

Overpriced. The ONLY thing that was remarkable was the staff, everyone I interacted with was quite wonderful. Everything else was sub-par. Dinner menu at the “restaurant” was minimal at best. Free WiFi with stay? I shut my WiFi off because everything buffered while using it. Yes, you have local cable, but it’s 2025 and no Smart TV? Bathtub had hair in it when we checked in. I paid LESS for a stay 2 weeks ago with another company in a similar town, had a suite, kitchenette, bedroom, living room and huge bathroom. Restaurant menu for lunch & dinner was elaborate, breakfast was included and was MTO or buffet style, or a mix of both. Not sure how this establishment can justify the price.

Had difficulty with wi-fi disconnecting frequently. One chair in room - with two people, one had to sit on bed.No directions in room as to how to use TV. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

I’m a difficult rater and also I did not make demands on staff. Bed was great. I had a good night’s sleep The room was not as sound proof from the pool noise as I would have liked. But, when the pool closed, no problem.

---Bed in 519 was too old, indentations where too many people had slept gave me a terrible night's sleep, and a backache I am still working out. Worst bed I have slept in, in years. ---Called the Guest Assistance line several times, at several points, with no response(s) at all. ---I wanted ice. Since Guest Assistance did not respond to let me know where the ice room was, I went down to the front desk. When the Desk Clerk came to the desk from the office she informed me that in the future, ice was located at xxx. I said I called Guest Assistance to find that out with no response. She said "Well, I am busy".

It’s almost impossible to get a hold of somebody via the phone to make a reservation so book online. However, the facility itself is clean and comfortable, breakfast was good and I would stay again (I came in for an event and missed out on the group rate as nobody EVER answered the phone after calling 5 days straight at various times…about 30 calls in total). Once in person, the front desk and other facility staff were wonderful, just nobody answers the phone!

I got to the hotel for check in around 8:05 PM. I waited at the front desk until about 830 when the clerk finally came to check us in. The bartender on staff closed the bar without even checking in on us to see if we needed any help or if he could help find the staff member to check us in. We ordered dinner prior to getting there and ended up eating the dinner in the lobby as we waited for the staff to show up. I tried calling multiple times in hopes the staff member had a way to answer the phone away from the desk or someone else would pick up. When we got to there room there was a significant water spot on the ceiling above one of the beds. We took our son swimming and because the staff member was no where to be found he had little to no time to swim after we checked in and got to our room. They were quick to make sure we were out of the pool by 9, but had no issue making us wait for 25 minutes to check in.

Auburn’s a great little town — great people, good spirit — and the Holiday Inn is in a great location to take it all in. It’s a five minute walk to Prison City Brewery and to a handful of cafes. It’s also a short walk from the hotel to Harriet Tubman’s resting place. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and the beds are pretty comfy. I would have been happy to have stayed longer.

We had a great stay here. The room was very nice and quiet. The fitness center and pool is as nice as the photos. The breakfast was delicious. Keep in mind it’s not free. And the pool was not heated.

You are so lucky to have the 2 ladies you have working the desk . Both were so patient , kind and went out of there way to helping me. And your waitress lady in restaurant was outstanding covering all those tables by herself and did that with a smile while clearly being overworked . Fantastic stay!!

The restaurant for breakfast was disappointing after such friendliness from other staff members..waitresses were rude and overwhelmed with a few tables took 1 hour for our eggs homefries and toast and never checked in us or got drink refills tables around us never cleaned off the whole time to turn others away telling them a hour wait

Check-in was very pleasant. Desk lady was very nice and informative. This hotel hasn't been renovated in many years and the bed was low and worn. Carpets in hallway were stained. Things were surface clean, but not deep clean. Breakfast wasn't free at this location. No perks
