121 Paris Hotel

First, positives. Very close to Brochant metro so easy to reach and centrally located. The room had air con and a fridge which, along with price, was why this hotel was chosen - both worked well. Staff were friendly and the lobby was well-maintained. Other areas were not so good. The breakfast was ok for the price. Fair choice including real fruit juice but no fruit and no hot food such as egg or bacon which we have found for ‘continental’ breakfast in every other hotel we have stayed. Then, the minor bad points. The bed was a small double and not great for two adults. There was no mattress protector. Both pillows and bed were hard which even though I like hard bedding, I found uncomfortable. The tv was the size of a computer screen and on the desk. You couldn’t watch the all French channels lying on the bed. The curtains weren’t blackout and let light in the room. All these are not ideal but hardly disastrous. What was completely unacceptable was the filthy state of the shower/shower curtain and the thick layers of dust everywhere. The room has suffered from little or poor maintenance meaning there was damage everywhere and frankly, some things looked like they had been left for years. Surely the manager of this hotel cannot be that bad that this is not obvious and I therefore can only assume the owners have been unable or unwilling to complete necessary works. I cannot understand how some reviewers can praise the cleanliness! I would not stay here again or recommend.

Great value for the price. The hotel is in a convenient location, and the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a fridge and a TV. The building is a bit dated, but everything was well maintained. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. After I had already checked out, I realized I had left something behind. They contacted me, kept it safe, and made it easy for me to pick it up later. I really appreciated their honesty and excellent service. Overall, it’s a simple hotel, but it’s clean, comfortable, and offers excellent value for the price. I would definitely stay there again.

This place was nice and very clean , it felt like home , the breakfast was amazing , It was a fun and friendly experience , The receptionist and the breakfast guy was very nice too , would totally recommend to go here for your Paris trip

The 3 th floor room was ok the 5th floor room had a bad smell
