Location near the Salzburg main station is a huge plus. There are no elevators to go up - it is not a one shirt flight of stairs it is as good as two. There is a chair lift that can go up. It you need special attention from the staff. If you have bags (any size) going up or a senior, you will find it difficult to climb. The rooms are poorly maintained with many deficiencies that you can see - a ceiling with water marks, cracks many places, broken flush etc. We saw bug in the bathroom and a cockroach on the stairs. There is some smell in the room and in the corridor which is masked by some air freshener, but hard to mask. The staff/manager is helpful. Looks like a family run location and there is no uniform to signify somebody works here.

Had a job contacting the reception on arrival......as the front door was locked by 9pm.......very basic and a lot of noise outside ...

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. Although I had already booked and paid for one night, I was unable to stay due to issues with the staff. Their behavior was unprofessional and not trustworthy, which made me uncomfortable continuing with the booking. Overall, I would not recommend this property due to poor customer service and lack of reliability.
