Good value fot the money: however worth noting parking is by pay and display plus although advertised no restaurant facilities at the hotel. Having said this breakfast was excellent and other places to eat are just a short walk.

Located in the heart of Exeter. Friendly staff. Hotel has a lift. Breakfast was lovely. Room was roomy but the decor was tired and needed updating. Bathroom could use a swinging magnifying mirror. Parking is pay and display across the street. You take a chance finding a spot. Otherwise, you have to go quite a way to find parking. Lots of restaurant choices close by.

Really clean, breakfast excellent as always and, even in the middle of refurbishment and redecoration the service is brilliant. Friendly staff who will always go over and above. Car parking permit a bonus too while the car park is partially closed.

I travel a lot and have a eye for photos hotels post, never the same as when you arrive, this one surprised me, it’s far better than the photos posted up, have to say excellent, room was really good, bathroom too, on arrival didn’t have to wait, card was ready with room etc, guy n desk was good at what he did, breakfast again excellent, so would book again here, only thing is parking out front, get there early as it parking out front is busy.

Friendly guy on reception, facilities in room where lovely. Good central location although car park cost us £11. Room was a superior twin that was set for 3 so lovely and spacious. A quiet and peaceful hotel is a busy city. Would recommend.

The property was good and in a good location , i was disappointed with the breakfast times i had to miss breakfast which i paid for, due to breakfast being served to late 07.30 i needed to be at work for 08.00. Plus Limited parking around the hotel.

Very good service my room was clean ,comfortable and spacious. There is a bar which closes at 10pm so does reception, you can come and go as you please. There is a library and seating areas for you to relax the old style furniture really takes you back in time the property overlooks a square and is close to amenities. The breakfast is lovely with a good choice and cooked to order I would recommend and stay again.

We have stayed at Queens Court Several times and are always delighted to be there. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The lift assists with people who can not make stairs. The breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended in being able to walk to the center of Exeter.

It was okay. They left the garbage bag on the floor from the last guest. No view from my room. A bit rough and the breakfast was average. Decent for the price I suppose. Good location close to everything.

When we arrived at the property we were met by a lovely receptionist but she was the only nice bit about this place! The room we were given as dirty with heavily stained soft furnishings and carpet. We complained only to be told that the hotel was full and no further rooms were available to change to. The receptionist advised that housekeeping had finished for the day but she would go and hoover our room as there were biscuits on the floor from the previous occupant! The low level of basic cleanliness left us questioning everything else. The fabric headboard was stained and so ware the chairs. There were cobwebs in the bedroom window and while I appreciate spiders come in this little guy had been working on his web for some time without being disturbed. If we hadn’t got tickets to see a show we would not have stayed here.

Room was clean and the hotel had a cozy atmosphere. The location is great, just a short walk to Exeter town centre with the area being not too loud. Staff was very friendly. Note that since the building is old and the floors made out of wood, you may hear other guests walking around or above your room.

Stayed here four or five times now, great location, close to everything! Staff always really friendly and helpful, can’t fault them, great breakfast, nice bar to relax in, in the evening! However this time we stayed in room 101, which really needs decorating! The walls and skirting were painted pink, there were no pictures or mirrors on the wall, the dark brown floor boards looked out of place, there was an old table and two chairs in the corner and two old bedside tables. It really is a miserable room to stay in. We have not had any issues with other rooms at this hotel, so we’re left a bit disappointed on this stay!

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times. It is very convenient - car park opposite and easy walk into the centre of Exeter. The hotel is a little tired and dated but it is always spotlessly clean an the staff are friendly and helpful.

Good area, friendly staff. The wifi was down, which was a shame. The room could best be described as 'quirky' - it was a garret converted from the loft. But the main thing was the heat - it was a hot day and the room was like a furnace all night. The open window and the desk fan made no difference. Heat rises, I guess, but it was so hot I was ill all next day. Bear that in mind when booking: avoid the top floor on a hot day.

The hotel is in a great location for the city centre, the staff were lovely and the downstairs areas are well-presented. The room itself wasn't huge but had a nice view over the square. It had all the essentials and the bathroom was modern. The decor was a little odd - Bright orange paint and no headboard or pictures. It just felt a little unfinished. Overall though we'd consider staying again.

The service was incredibly freindly and attentive. The room we stayed in was good however and really spacious, the mattress was quite hard though so did not get the best nights sleep! But overall very good and would recommend to anyone.

So hot in the basement room that we could not sleep. We opened the window to try and help, but sadly could only hear the air conditioner unit running, alas none of the cold air was coming into our room. Noise from the kitchen staff in the morning did not help either. The room location is poor.

This is my 3rd stay here, hotel is in the perfect location and the staff are so friendly - particularly the recepionist. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep well this time. Our room was in the middle of a corridor which people seemed to be walking up and down all night! Will request a different room next time.

This is most definitely the best place to stay in Exeter. It’s in a beautiful, quiet location, yet just a short walk to the city centre. The building is full of character and charm; our room was comfortable, clean and we loved the jacuzzi bath and fantastic drench shower with body jets. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovely too, with lots of options available.

Ian the manager made my stay an absolute nightmare .rude abrupt obnoxious. Staff misinformed me and ian didnt lwt me back into the hotel and had me stood outside fro. 4.30 am till 8am when the next manager started the shift levente was the next manager and fixwd the issue and allowed me back in my room. Ian should not be qorking in hospitality with his mitlet mentality and absokute no lack of communication or resolve or management skils whatsoever. Absokutely disgraceful tramatised my son who was meant to be visiting and havent seen in a while and ruined my whole week .. disgraceful..

When we arrived we were asked to pay, we had paid in advance. The lady at the desk said they didn't have any notification of this. I showed her my receipt. Another member of staff arrived and said it had been paid, after he checked my receipt. The lady gave us an envelope with the card for our room, it had 'room pre-paid' written on it. In the room the bedroom only had a net curtain for a large sash window, and some of this was hanging off the hook. We went down to reception to discuss this. The staff told us there was nothing that could be done, no other rooms available. They said the rooms were soon to be updated. We left after our stay feeling that we had not been valued as customers.

We can't speak highly enough about our stay at Queens Court Hotel. It's a very short walk from Exeter Central train station and the town centre is less than a ten minutes walk from the hotel. We arrived much earlier than we could check in but Marek kindly arranged for us to leave our luggage and when the room was ready our things were placed in the room for us. From our arrival we were made to feel really welcome and you could feel there was something special about the hotel. When we did check in much later in the day it was really quick and easy before heading to our room on the third floor. We did go into the bar later in the day for a drink and found it with a great selection of drinks very reasonably priced. We both slept very well, in the spacious room with an en suite bathroom. The next morning we both had a full English breakfast which was really nice accompanied by hot coffee ice cold orange juice. On checking out we were again made to feel very welcome and the nice thing was nothing was ever too much to help. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. I would be happy to stay again. The hotel is conveniently situated for both railway stations and for the Cathedral.

There wasn't a wardrobe, just a rail with a few hangers. There wasn't a usable mirror for drying your hair in front of (one in the bathroom and one on the back of the door). All in all not great for the price paid. However, the location is very convenient, as is the paid car park right in front of the hotel. And the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Room was clean and the hotel had a cozy atmosphere. The location is great, just a short walk to Exeter town centre with the area being not too loud. Staff was very friendly. Note that since the building is old and the floors made out of wood, you may hear other guests walking around or above your room.

Hotel was in a central location within easy walking distance of shops , bars and resteraunts. Very clean and staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, hot and cold. Will definitely stay again.

Absolute gem of a place, this was our second visit as it's location is super and the hotel itself is a bit quirky and non chain. If travelling by train go to Exeter Central as St David's is uphill.

The Hotel is in a great location, 15 minutes walk from the university, and Quay and 5 minutes from the train station and City center. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The triple room we stayed in was comfortable, but bear in mind this is a hotel with character, and may not be the Luxury some people would expect. I did my research before going and decided the paid car park directly opposite would be fine to leave the car parked overnight. Just as well because there is no on site parking. This is my 3rd stay here, hotel is in the perfect location and the staff are so friendly - particularly the recepionist. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep well this time. Our room was in the middle of a corridor which people seemed to be walking up and down all night! Will request a different room next time.

Fairly close to Exerer Central station and not far from Cathedral. You can easily walk to Exeter St Davids but not the other way. Hotel is a bit worn. Need renovation but is fully acceptable. 3:rd floor no elevator. Good breakfast!

Spent 4 nights at this hotel. Room was basic, bed was comfortable. I would have like a choice of herbal teas. Also it would be great to have bigger towels. Tne breakfast each morning was great, goid choice and well cooked. Both of Exeter main train station are in easy walkable distance. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Really clean, breakfast excellent as always and, even in the middle of refurbishment and redecoration the service is brilliant. Friendly staff who will always go over and above. Car parking permit a bonus too while the car park is partially closed.

Lovely small hotel in a great location. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were all so friendly and efficient. The breakfast was fantastic with a great range of fruit, yogurt, nuts, seeds etc as well as a cooked option. Great value, too. Highly recommend.

Very close to exeter central station . In a square but very quiet Rooms are nice . Breakfast was ok. Good selection to choose from but didn’t like the fact i had to ask a waiter for coffee/tea , toasts and hot food. In other hotels you help yourself

The property was good and in a good location , i was disappointed with the breakfast times i had to miss breakfast which i paid for, due to breakfast being served to late 07.30 i needed to be at work for 08.00. Plus Limited parking around the hotel.

Room quite small for two adults, bathroom was pretty much same size as the room. Loft room very warm despite fan provided, but warm weather doesn’t help. No towels in the room , one coffee cup , no spoon . Breakfast open 730am , touch late for an early start! Bar closed on our arrival just after 9pm

Over half of one curtain was hanging off curtain rail making it difficult to fully draw the curtains. A little more attention to detail would make a huge difference.
