The efficiency unit is thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Location was great, quiet setting and lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Convenient free street parking. Host was onsite, very responsive and gave suggestions and info about the area.

Great from beginning to end. The host is fabulous with how-to’s, local restaurants, checking in every once in a while to see if we needed anything refreshed and just to say hi. We were there for a wedding at the venue just behind the VRBO which made it simple for getting ready, having a quiet place to rest and hang out. Coffee in the morning, on the patio was delightful as were the local shops and restaurants. Great place to stay!

Raleigh is a “bike-able” city! I appreciated having access to a bicycle (included with my stay). Think about it…if you’re able, riding instead of driving has some benefits!

This place was perfect for my husband and I. Cute, comfortable, nice walkable neighborhood, easy street parking, and exactly as described. Clear instructions and communication with owner. We slept well and enjoyed the cozy porch.

Modern amenities, romantic vibe, trees in the courtyard. We took the bikes downtown to Flour and Barrels restaurant, then to Dex Park.

The host was accommodating and responsive! We loved the bikes and got to explore Raleigh more thanks to that addition.

This was the first step of a driving tour of the South, to celebrate my retirement later this year. The unit was just as promised and the perfect amount of space for a solo traveler or couple. The bed was comfortable, with soft linens. The bathroom had a very fancy toilet, with a seat warmer and dual purpose as a bidet. The shower had good water pressure and was stocked with quality toiletries. The kitchenette came with a microwave, toaster oven, sink, basic dishes/utensils (including wine opener, wine glasses),a small fridge and Nespresso coffee maker. There is a large television with a plethora of channels. There is an abundance of plugs and USB ports in the unit. There is a small sitting porch with chairs and a ceiling fan, plus two bikes for personal use. The location is walking distance to downtown, though we drove mostly due to the wet weather while we were there (parking appears to be free on the weekends though). There is free street parking by the unit. We hit a snag getting my personal code to work to open the door, but Tom was very responsive and quickly corrected the issue. He also offered helpful recommendations during our stay. The cost of the unit was very affordable for the location. My only complaint was the room got just a little warm, but nothing that a small ceiling fan couldn’t address. I highly recommend this studio for a stay in Raleigh!

Stayed here with spouse while visiting family. Place was great and had the basic necessities for a short stay (coffee, snack, milk, ironing board, bikes, toaster, etc.). Owner was super responsive and loved onsite so easy to ask questions. Would stay again

We entered the studio and were met with lovely music and wonderful lighting. We enjoyed the care the owners took in their direct instructions and information about the space and the surrounding community. We felt at home in a peaceful environment that included a beautiful porch with gorgeous flowers. We will definitely stay here again!

The studio was a great find. Tom was a great host. Communication was fantastic. The Nespresso machine was an added bonus. Having coffee on the patio over looking the landscape was relaxing and peaceful. We couldn't ask for a better location, close to many great restaurants. You could leave your car behind and walk, which was good because parking was sometimes difficult to find. The best part is that it is only 2 hours from home. We will definitely be back

The host was very responsive. He provided necessary instructions for the stay. The apartment could have been a bit cleaner. I think if you’re paying 60 for a cleaning fee, the place should be very clean. The apartment could use a deep clean. Overall the stay was okay. It was very close to the wedding venue that we attended. The grass area and neighborhood were great for walking our dog. Our stay would have been more comfortable, if the place was a tad bit cleaner.

We had a wonderful stay at Tom's apartment. The location was perfect, a short drive to great restaurants, bars and museums. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The host was very friendly and responsive. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a Raleigh getaway. Also try out the Ish Deil. Very good deli spot to walk to for lunch.

This is a great location if you’re doing anything in downtown, but also want to be in a quiet area at night. The studio is super clean, there are so many little amenities throughout the space. Would absolutely consider staying here again during future Raleigh visits.

I is a delightful property, but it needs a good deep cleaning, and much upgrade to bathroom lighting. Otherwise, wonderful.

We went into Raleigh to meet up with family nearby on our way to New Bern. We were excited to stay in this studio because it looked great. We were NOT disappointed. Everything was so well thought out. The host was very communicative and was a gracious host. The property was exceptionally clean and the amenities were as listed. They even had coffee and fresh cream for us! We would 100% stay there again when we visit Raleigh. Probably one of the best stays we've had. Would have loved to stay longer!!

Our stay in Tom's Place was exceptional. They had thought of every little thing a guest might need. We had the choice of a soft pillow or a firm one. Nespresso was a pleasant surprise. The bed and linens were comfortable as was the lounging area. My hubs especially enjoyed the well-appointed bathroom. The architecture of this space was well-thought out and obviously brought to life by skilled crafts people. Don't want to spoil all the surprises we found so you will be pleased and surprised too when you check in!

The owner is very friendly and quick to respond. He was very accommodating and the area was really nice. My partner and I loved the apartment and the bed was super comfortable. We stayed one night to see a show in town and it was a great location. I would highly recommend staying here if you are ever in the Raleigh area! Thanks again!

Studio was in a great location for where I needed to be that weekend- minutes from downtown Raleigh. The host was very communicative and responsive. There were some issues with getting in (code provided did not work) but we were able to figure out a solution. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great! It was pretty loud one evening from music playing above, but the host provided a noise machine and we just turned up the fans to drown out the noise. Room could use some dusting and the mini fridge was a bit leaky and did not keep food too cold. Good stay for my first time in Raleigh!

Quick trip to the Raleigh area for our daughters baby shower. Great neighborhood…walking distance to coffee, ambience, good food. The unit is small, but thoughtfully appointed and Tom was a thoughtful host programming my husbands favorite music to be playing in the unit for our arrival after a longer than usual travel day. We will definitely consider staying there again:)

We visited for the Hopscotch Music Festival and probably couldn’t have found a better place to stay. The studio is very cute, comfortable, and makes great use of a small space. It’s a short walk to downtown and nearby restaurants. The owner was very kind and responsive and we felt very welcome. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were in town for my daughter and now son in laws wedding. The apartment is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. It was gorgeous inside and extremely comfortable!Anything you need in downtown Raleigh is walkable and easily drivable in minutes. Stop scrolling and book!!

Tom communicated with me awesomely from booking through check out. This place is incredibly thoughtfully curated for a short stay. Entertainment system is great, bathroom is chefs kiss, entry and exit is both easy and secure. Convenient 24 hr BP station a block over for any last minute cravings. Bedding was verrrry comfortable. When coming back through Raleigh will not be staying anywhere else from now on. Very walkable.

Location is also great, being an easy walk to downtown venues as well as the restaurant/retail district on N Person street. One of the better places I've rented. Would stay again!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay for our short visit to Raleigh. Tom, the host, was probably the most helpful and communicative host we have experienced with either AirB&B or VRBO. He was always available for any questions, offering area dining recommendations, too. The studio itself was clean, beautifully designed and decorated, the bed was most comfortable and the overall space surprisingly ideal for the two of us. It’s in a great location for exploring. Would definitely stay here again when or if we are in the area,

What a great property and host! I felt very welcomed during my stay in Raleigh for a conference. This suite was comfortable, clean, and even had my favorite music on when I first walked in. It was also a very pedestrian friendly mile from my conference venue. It was a beautiful and convenient stroll through the capital each morning/evening. I definitely recommend this room if you're looking to easily explore downtown Raleigh and its surrounding, trendier neighborhoods either alone or as a couple. You'll have access to a well-priced, but 5-star home base during your visit.

Was in town for QuiltCon with my aunt--the property was the perfect distance from the Convention Center. We enjoyed the walk it gave us and a chance to explore local businesses and restaurants!
