Property itself was fine, although some parts of the room were in disrepair (cracked shower tiles, fraying carpet). However, the pool was out of service and we weren't noticed prior to checking in. We would have chosen a different property if we'd known, given there are several other choices in the area. When we asked about compensation, the only thing we were offered was some snacks! Fortunately Expedia intervened and offered us a coupon for a future booking. Other interactions with staff were fine, but i wouldn't recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Property and room very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Property well located if you are looking to see someone at University of Denver. Very quiet, thought we were the only people on our floor because we heard no one. Only criticism is the parking area. If you were coming back in the early evening there was limited availability. And you are charged $10 a day for this.

Renovations were being conducted in some areas, and the new carpet had a strong odor as new carpet and/or the glue does. The pool was also closed, so a discount should have been given to make up for the amenities and bad odor. Great complimentary breakfast and hotel staff!

Our stay was good very disappointed in the lady that checked us in I’m guessing she was having a bad day and took it out on us. Another disappointment was the pool wasn’t working wish they would have stated it was under remodel when we booked was hoping to take the grandson swimming. The room was great it was quiet and clean. The breakfast was good plenty of choices.

Disappointing stay this time. Rates were over 200/night. Pool was out of service, temps were high 80's. Fire alarm screamed for 3 HOURS on morning of 6/9, we had to leave the hotel. Staff was nice but obviously could not fix these issues.

This Hampton Inn has seen better days. There is no pool, fitness center is closed, sink and tub drains were unattached. Tub had a scum ring. On the positive side, staff were really helpful and nice, beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was up to standard.

They were in the middle of remodeling the hotel. We were hoping to use the hot tub and pool and these were not available to use. Also, had to pay $10 a day for parking, which was not listed on expedia.Beds were rock hard and not comfortable. We will not be staying here again.

We went out to see relatives this place was nice to stay at we had a suite with a view of the mountains all the staff were great but for a suite we expected alot more out of the bathroom really needed a upgrade overall a nice stay

Great staff, professional, hospitable, with warm smiles. The hotel itself feels like it’s in transition. The common areas’ amenities are modern but the furniture and fixtures in my room were outdated, dimly lit and I just couldn’t figure out how to turn on one of the lamps bedside. My suite had 2 TVs. A larger, newer one in the sitting area and a smaller, older one in the bedroom. The sliding glass doors to the balcony also had challenges with closing (less of a security concern since my room was not on the ground floor. Overall, it’s an ok place and I hope they upgrade the finishes in the rooms - go all the way!

Stay was ok. Signs around said they were renovating but i couldnt tell it was updated. Had king bed room. Bathroom was tiny and bathroom door would hit the toilet when opening - they had to carve out portion of the door in order to make door fully open. Lots of things to do in and around the area that are short drives.

We were told we were getting a newly remodeled room but the window shade was torn and dirty, the air conditioner was so noisy it was difficult to sleep. The faucet in the tub leaks and the sink faucet dripped.

The people made the experience exceptional - friendly, welcoming front desk staff, housekeeping, and breakfast service. Convenient location with easy access to the highway, businesses, and downtown. Jeremy (night clerk) was amazing. Original room had squeaky fan and Jeremy found another room for us AND printed a document for us since the "Business Center" had been removed. Thanks Jeremy! Great personality as well - Hampton Inn -- He's a keeper!

The experience was okay. The breakfast was very basic. I requested a late checkout and was told no. Checkout was at 11 and I only needed an extra hour and told no by two different people without even being asked how much extra time I would need. Needless to say, I won't be staying there anymore. I have never been told no when asking for a late checkout. Now I'm wondering if it's because I booked through a third party that I was treated like a second class citizen. I don't travel as much these days but when I did I never had front desk tell me a flat no when requesting a late checkout.

The hotel staff were very courteous and professional. They attended to all our needs. Doug and Jeremy in the front lobby were great. They were phenomenal. When we needed to change rooms, they made sure that all our needs were met. We could not have asked for anything better. The transition was seamless and very smooth. Check in process was horrible I rebooked my room and the machine kept declining . I explained to the staff at the front desk that its likely a problem from their end given 2 other peoples cards also got declined but he dismissed me. I missed out on plans because of that. The hotel is also under construction , which the website does not mention and that was dissapointing. The bathroom tub doesnt drain as well.

Stayed here to attend an event in the Colorado Convention Center downtown. It is about 5 miles away, but at far more reasonable rates than the ridiculously high rates charged in downtown Denver, esp. since this was a large 10000 attendee event. Plenty of car parking. Uber cost is around $15 each way to the Conv. center; if you want to go green, the bus stop is just round the corner with frequent buses to downtown ($6 a day is a steal - tix purchased via Uber Transit option was very convenient!) I tried the 2-bus option and LightRail bus option - LR is slower but a fun ride. Some buses had oddball characters but they didnt bother others - preferred to stick to bus rides only in the daytime. Breakfast spread was simple but adequate. Waffle-maker was a favorite of most having breakfast there. There are several plazas with other restaurants within 1-2 miles of driving distance.

Great location with lots of restaurants, stores and others near by. Close access to main roads. Nice area. Good, spacious rooms. Pool and jacuzzi fully functional. Very courteous staff.

The first night we stayed the breakfast the next day was minimal. We arrived at the dining room about 9 and most items were picked over or gone. The next day, a Saturday, was much better. Room was clean and comfortable. Worth the money. A nice hotel all in all.
