Our stay was marred by numerous issues, despite a warm welcome from Joseph at check-in. Unfortunately, his exceptional service was the highlight of our stay, and things went downhill from there. Upon arrival, we noticed only one elevator was working, resulting in long wait times. However, this was just the beginning. A delivered package went missing, despite proof of delivery signed by a G. Garada. The receptionist was unaware of who G. Garada was, and it wasn't until later that we discovered the hotel had a manager named A. Garada, who denied signing for the package. The package mysteriously reappeared the next morning, but it had been opened, sealed with duct tape, and an item was missing. This lack of accountability and care for guests' belongings was concerning. To make matters worse, on check-out morning, both elevators were out of service, forcing us (2 females) to carry 4, 50lbs bags down 5 flights of stairs. When we requested assistance, the reception said no one was there to help, leaving us to manage the heavy luggage on our own. Given these issues, we would caution potential guests. Unless the hotel improves its package handling and maintenance, we wouldn't recommend it.

The room was spacious and comfortable bed. I like that they had good service at their little restaurant at the hotel. There was a lot of people at the hotel so the wait for the elevator was a long time. The pool area was OK. Nothing spectacular about the pool just a very average hotel pool. The Jacuzzi was not working. I like that it was close to the airport and we used the free hotel shuttle, which was great.

Very nice hotel but the reason I stayed here was for the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle did not arrive at 5:30am so after waiting 10 minutes we got an uber with other hotel clients

The hotel is nice and clean. Expect to pay for parking which is around $12 per night. The parking lot is a decent size. There is no complimentary breakfast so keep that in mind as you will be paying $18 per person.

My now fiance and I had a fantastic stay. We were close to everything we needed, rooms were quiet. Beds very comfy, good water pressure. The only thing I would say is that during the duration of our stay there was only one elevator working which led to longer then expected waiting times going up and down from our rooms. We only had one elevator working for 3 out of the 4 days we stayed here and the second elevator began working the morning we left. I understand that this may not be a direct responsibility of Hilton garden inn them selves, it was something noticeable that we were dissatisfied with. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Was returning from a trip and flying out of Tampa. Was dropping our rental car at the airport and called hotel for a shuttle back to the hotel. Waited over an hour for the shuttle which never came and ended up having to call an Uber for $20 (hotel is only a 5 minute drive from airport). Was not happy about that after having to call the hotel twice asking where the shuttle was. Once I returned to the hotel I was told the shuttle service was run by a third party. Doesn’t do me any good because I’m still out an hour + of my time and $20. The hotel itself was fine, with no complaints about the room. However, low and behold the shuttle was there at 4:30 am to take us to airport in the morning.

Parking is confusing and tough to find a spot during work day hours since it is shared with office buildings around. Because parking is at rear of hotel and there are several buildings...it would be very helpful to have the hotel name on the rear of building

I didn't like that they dont clean enough. The bathrooms on a day to day were not clean enough. The toilet lid was all yellow the shower was dirty. My kids had eaten some chips and some got on the floor. I expected they would sweap or vacuum once they cleaned the room but no when i got back to my hotel late evening all the crumbs were still on the floor.

We were disappointed that we had to call the front desk to first fill the conditioner and then later had to call to vacuum chocolate or dirt on the floor and to switch out dirty sheets on one of the beds. Instead of housekeeping changing the sheets, they handed them to us for us to change. Otherwise the room seemed nice.

Liked shuttle to and from airport. Lighting in room was very poor. Room was near air condition unit, so was noisy at times. Room was not very clean. Found hair on bathroom floor and big ball in my bed. Called front desk, who said they would send housekeeping, but they did not come. I had to flag down housekeeper in hall, to change all my bedding. Sign on bottled water in room charged $3.00 for bottled water and free to diamond guest.

Decent but the pool was dirty and full of dead bugs, and the breakfast was very limited. There was almost nothing among the hot items except for scrambled eggs, everything else was empty and not restocked appropriately. No staff to welcome you to the restaurant or to check if you need help. I’m glad it was included in my stay, because otherwise the cost is nearly $20.00 for a very sub-par selection. The bathroom is pretty outdated and the bed is not very comfortable. Staff was nice and airport shuttle was timely and convenient. It’s ok for a one night stay, but definitely not much longer.

The hotel was in a great area for our needs! The staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant at the Hilton Garden Inn is a big plus. We had a one bedroom King. It had wonderful space. The housekeeping staff kept the room spotless. They were great with all of our needs. The room had a separate livi g area. Private and spacious. The garage was easy to use and convenient. We would definitely recommend.

Location was convenient to airport. Loved the later check out. Sraff was friendly. Showerhead was amazing, but it was too bad the water was warm, not hot, and faucet consistently leaked. Another con was that the bed wasn't as comfortable as I hoped. There was no clock in the room, so i had to light up my phone to see the time in the middle of the night. The window shades truly blacked out the room, and it was pretty quiet for it to be so close to the airport. I would use again for short get a ways

Overall I like HGI. This one was very close to airport with free shuttle. Friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Starting to show some age. The bed and pillows were not quite as comfortable as I typically experience at HGI. Also, the air conditioning in the room was very loud with a rattling noise (room 608). Other than that good stay - would stay again.

The front desk employees are simply awful. They do not care about the customer, don’t know their job , and simply take no pride in the hotel they work for. It could have been isolated with one night shift, but the same experience in the morning with the morning staff. Simple issues that ruined the entire stay, because of atrocious staffing. Checkin was the worse O have ever experienced anywhere in the world. The shuttle the next day was only resolved by the restaurant manager. The front desk curtly said get a cab.

Airport shuttle was easy; however, this hotel does not offer you a shuttle to transport you around for eating or shopping and there is nothing within walking distance. They also will not wave their $35 early check-in even when your room is available. They also do not have a secure room to hold your luggage. Probably will not stay here again.

Excellent property and in a great location. Not to far from international plaza where there is really nice restaurants to eat and sit out on the patio and even do a little shopping. Also less than 4 mins from the Tampa International Airport.
