Small, homey hotel with good pricing. Staff all friendly and accommodating. Breakfast voucher included for local Italian cafe. Off the beaten path but plenty of buses nearby, including right out front to take you to other neighborhoods and tube stations.

Great place to stay in a great part of London, easy to get into the city centre and walkable to Shepherd's Bush Market tube station. The room was good, not too much noise from the road outside and parking is secure and well priced. Easy check in and staff were great, will use again for sure.

room was ok. tv too small so watched laptop. stayed 5 nights, room never cleaned although bin emptied. Reception couldnt give a 2 hoots, charged 20 for key to room and £15 per evening for parking. was told to park elsewhere saturday and sunday night despite notices stating first come first to park! more expensive hotels would have worked out cheaper!

Pretty good medium-range independent hotel, good value for money, helpful staff. Some of the rooms are spacious but others a bit small. The locks on the doors need changing as they are very difficult to open! Really lovely breakfast offered at local cafe and extensive room service delivery option.

The hotel itself had everything you need. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had to park up the road as on the website said you can book at reception I phoned just to check and all spaces were taken till the next day. Was hot in the room and the windows only opened up a little so couldn’t control how hot I was.

Hotel 261 is a good budget hotel - no frills but does the basics reasonably well. Friendly staff, good location for travel options by bus, tube and overground. Decor looks to have been updated not too long ago but shows a few signs of wear which is to be expected. My only concern was the steps from the entrance - no problem going up the 5 or 6 steps but I have difficulty going down and there is no handrail. I managed but had to take my time and reach for the low wall for the first 2 or 3 steps. However this would not stop me from staying again.

Arrived and the sign in reception says parking is first come first serve basis, obviously not the case, I arrived and was told to go find alternative parking as I hadn’t booked it. 5 spaces for a hotel of approx 40 rooms. Checked in and made my way to the third floor passing the vomit in the hallway that had obviously sat there all night and day as it was now 15:00. Got to our room to find the cleaner just starting our room, he advised he needed 20 minutes so we nipped to the pub next door. Came back 30mins later to find the cleaner still in the room advising he needed another 20. Bear in mind check in is after 14:00. Told him to leave while we get ready as we would be late otherwise. Shower plug hole dismantled and left in shower tray. Toilet seat disconnected from the toilet pan. Beds most uncomfortable and smelt of stale cigarettes. Woke up by fire service at 02:00 to stand outside for 1.5hrs when they clear the ammonia chemical spill in the basement. God only knows what goes on down there. My advice spend a bit more and go somewhere else

This is a decent, affordable place to stay. It's not plush by any standards but it has everything you need, our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. There is no bar or restaurant but they have an arrangement with a local restaurant, where you can get breakfast, and there is room service provided by one of the hotel's partners. It's on the corner of Uxbridge Road and Askew Road, close to several pubs and restaurants and walking distance to Hammersmith. Will likely return.

Someone had kindly left their soap for us in the shower that had definitely not been cleaned. Bed was comfy but squeaked lots. More like a b and b without the 2nd b. Good enough to pass out in. Would I stay again? Only if the gig was next door

Cheap for a reason. Should have done more research. Smelt of wee shower was a trickle. Beds very springy. Very dated and tired. Ropey location. Not for us.

Member of staff at check-in was friendly and very helpful. Info provided in advance by hotel was helpful. Bus stop right outside the hotel and excellent Chinese takeaway nearby (the only place still serving food because we arrived late in the evening). We had family room (double & two single beds) very comfortable, clean. Slightly cramped but fine for just a one night stay. Bonus was a fridge in the room.

under no condition stay here= no elevators = we were put in a basement room = dirty no place to hang cloths no drawers to store cloths= bed bugs = the room above us was a party all night= went to the guy in the office to stop it did nothing = found out the next day it was the owner's sons room = dancing , girls in and out dancing = we had 10 days booked = left the next morning would have eaten the $1000 we had left = it was that bad = Orbitz should be ashamed to have this as one of their properties

It did the job as a base for our weekend but ultimately the rooms aren’t kept together well. Lots of weird marks on the walls as well as writing. Very dusty. Shower seems to be held together by tape. There were hairs in the shower. For some reason only one mug in a double room, did ask for another but never received this. Bed was comfortable, pillows a little hard but that’s personal choice. Rust on the fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful, cannot fault them, always greeted with a smile. Check in and check was out was simple and fast. With a few little upgrades we would stay again. Great price and in a great location.

Conveniently next to some bus stops and a busy street. Small reception, budget friendly but small rooms. My double didnt look like the pictures and the bed was missing slats. The mattress was cheap and uncomfortable and the tv located in a far corner so difficult to watch - couple.of weird office style chairs also. Heating unable to be turned off and wallpaper / paint needing some maintenance. BUT for the price paid, it was ok for a night. Next door to a decent pub which does food etc. Would return if on my own and in West London.

Room was clean but the bed was not very comfortable, the pillows were really lumpy. The room was on the lower ground floor with a window onto a passageway. There was a lot of noise of people moving around in the room overhead.

Quite noisy from road traffic and guests trying to find their rooms as layout of rooms is confusing. Hot water took some time to come on. Bed was comfortable and room temperature good. Hotel should provide a bottle of drinking water for each person staying in addition to the tea and coffee.

The hotel was better than I expected, the rom was small but not too small and it had an en-suite Bathroom. There was tea and coffee in the room and also biscuits which I thought was lovely. The hotel has free wifi and also a tv in the room. The hotel also offers breakfast. There are bars, restaurants and shops nearby plus regular bus services. There are some down sides, the shower cubical opens directly into the main bedroom, the cubical door is not entirely water proof so the room flooded when I had a shower also the shower head was damaged so the water shot out like a hose. The bed was harder than I am used to and the place was a little tired looking. On the whole it was a good place to stay if you only need somewhere to sleep, when I return to London I would be happy to stay here again.

I made the mistake of arriving after the check-in closing time of 11:30pm, which I wasn't aware of. Only by blind luck and the kindness of the person who happened to still be there did I get checked in. Hotel is in a great location near various transit origins. Room was good, only complaint being with the really low-pressure shower. Working TV was a nice touch.

It wasnt so much the propery, although the place was dark and dingy, not very welcoming. It was more about the staff at reception. First of all there was a load of toing and froing about ID. That is mainly my fault i hadnt noticed that you are required to provide ID. However the way the staff member handled it was sloppy and unhelpful. Also there is a £20 deposite for the key ( which was returned upon leaving) i didnt have any cash on me so I was forced to walk all the way to Tescos which was the nearest cash point. At one point i just asked for a refund so i could pick another hotel but that was refused. Eventually i got the key and he nonchalantly pointed vaguely in the direction of my room. The room was okayish, certainly didnt look as bright and airy as the photos. It was clean but dark and depressive. There was no hot water for the shower. I didnt want to have to go through it with reception again so i just put up with it. I checked out early. So in a nutshell, service poor, room bog standard with no hot water

Very budget hotel with low responsiveness of Staff. No housekeeping for the 5 days we were here and on the first day our room was entered without our permission about 15 minutes after we left to explore the city. If we didn’t prepay I would have checked out.

The hotel was what is was, nothing special, but I will commend their good service. I forgot a valuable piece of jewellery on the nightstand before I checked out. When I discovered this, I called the reception and told them, and asked if they could look for the jewellery and keep it for me if they found it. They found it straight away and gave it right to me when I returned. That is good service, and made my entire weekend.
The hotel was what is was, nothing special, but I will commend their good service. I forgot a valuable piece of jewellery on the nightstand before I checked out. Basic accomodation which did the job. We got there after a big flight and spent about 15 minutes ringing the doorbell before someone opened it and told me I should have rung the doorbell. After a few days I asked for a fresh towel and was told “we won’t be doing that”.

Walking distance for my QPR-match on Loftus Road! 👍 Pubs near by. Also a nice market for street food and other things at Shepherd's Bush not far away, which is conveniently connected to the underground. Good service at the hotel. Was allowed to check in early as I was in the area.

Great place to stay in a great part of London, easy to get into the city centre and walkable to Shepherd's Bush Market tube station. The room was good, not too much noise from the road outside and parking is secure and well priced. Easy check in and staff were great, will use again for sure.

Hotel and service were but I think it is a bit too far from everything and traveling to the important spots can get a bit expensive from here. There are many bus stops and the closest underground is 15 min walking.

The hotel is far from the underground station but right next to a bus stop. So you have transport options. And the hot water takes a while to kick on but otherwise it was a great room great staff. The pub next door has great prices and friendly staff as well.

This is a decent, affordable place to stay. It's not plush by any standards but it has everything you need, our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. There is no bar or restaurant but they have an arrangement with a local restaurant, where you can get breakfast, and there is room service provided by one of the hotel's partners. It's on the corner of Uxbridge Road and Askew Road, close to several pubs and restaurants and walking distance to Hammersmith. Will likely return.

No towels in the room, when asked for some, was left one hand towel. Breakfast included was at a cafe 5 mins away, terrible service, no menu, served cold mushrooms and cold toast. Walked out and went elsewhere.

Don’t pay for breakfast unless you want to walk from the hotel for 6 minutes and go to a pizza cafe. I don’t even know what they cooked because after waiting for 20 minutes I left with a takeaway coffee. £14!!! The room I had was a single room so I wasn’t expecting much and it was on a two star hotel so I really wasn’t expecting much. The reception was basic. Took my driving licence as key security. £15 to park on the front. The room was small the mattress you could feel every spring. The tv was the size of a tablet. The shower was problematic water leaking out onto the floor and opened directly into the seeping room. Not much water pressure. If you want to put your head down and just want somewhere cheap in London this maybe for you.

Main thing for me was having an email saying breakfast was between 8-11am. Perfect as we were going to Legoland and wanted to leave around 9. To be told when we checked in that no 8am wasn’t an option. It was 9am and no earlier. Had breakfast the next day, no choice and drinks were extra

Good enough, average stay, pay for what you get. Would stay again as well priced. Room was decent. Breakfast was quite poor. Poor service and didn’t want to serve. No menu. No service. Booked two rooms one had a rat trap in it and a toilet still housing the previous occupiers snubbed nose otter, the second room had large clumps of hair all over the bathroom floor and the sink had no plug, although two small bars of soap had been provided. Along with hard mattress and noise coming from other areas of the hotel it was not exactly the easiest place to sleep. All in all it did the job of cheap digs for one night but somewhere I would not return to. Would rate it lower although it would be unfair to the couple other places we have stayed that were actually worse.

The whole place absolutely stinks and is so dirty. I wasn’t expecting much for a budget night in London but all I want is a clean bed and to be able to shower. This unfortunately offered neither. We ended up sleeping on top of the beds as the linen didn’t look clean and most certainly didn’t smell clean. Hairs all in bed. The towels smelt really bad too. Upon trying to have a shower the holder was broken so couldn’t even have a proper hair wash. The carpet clearly hadn’t been hoovered in a while.
