Would have rated excellent apart from the fact that the room safe was broken and they had no maintenance staff available at the weekend to fix it.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast was not great and the hotel in general needs a little TLC. There is ample parking and the hotel is opposite the New Mersey Shopping Park. It's only a couple of stops on the bus from John Lennon airport. Overall I would recommend the hotel and would stay again.

The room was great and very clean. The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. Parking was perfect as it is right on the doorstep. What lets the hotel down is not the quality of the food but more the lack of availability! We had a curry that was advertised as including a naan, mango chutney and mint yoghurt (non of which was available) to go with the microwaved mini poppadoms, bhaji and samosas. At breakfast, again a number of requested items were unavailable! However, I was served a really nice well prepared porridge in what appeared to be a fruit bowl, it was lovely, but could of served an army!

Cooked breakfast super, service poor. Room decor dated. Key card did not work for my room and phone did not work so could not contact reception. Repeatedly told someone would check it but no one did. Hotel was sold out so they were busy. Comfortable beds but rooms not soundproofed. Hotel across the road from Cineworld and retail park very handy.
