Wi-fi constantly dropped out making it very frustrating and difficult to phone home. Reported to reception and was told 'it works on my phone'! 'Breakfast' interesting. Apples, oranges, tea and coffee. Tea and coffee not always available and breakfast area not serviced. Location and room otherwise good.

The hotel is nice especially the lobby area however there were a few things that need improvement. 1. The AC didn't cool the room properly and we had trouble getting the fan to blow. 2. There was no iron or ironing board that most places even Motel 6 provide. We had a steamer but it didn't work well. 3. No coffee in the room. I really don't want to come down to get a cup from the 7th floor. 4. No pool and the gym was puny and not worth using. 5. This was the biggest issue for us there was no laundry room. We were blessed that the Hampton across the street let us use their washer and dryer. All we had to do was insert our debit card. Felix only has a laundry service that's $1 a pound with a $25 minimum. Who has that much laundry on vacation?

Loved it. Super nice. Super clean. Friendly staff. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they didn't have a refrigerator or Microwave in the rooms. Also didn't have parking. We had to Pay for valet parking each night so keep that in mind when booking. Wonderful place to stay still.

Great place to stay. Use Spot Hero for parking as valet parking is sooo expensive. Good bus routes and metro to the city. The guy on reception when we arrived was brilliant. Very helpful and pleasant. The fridge and safe were really useful. For breakfast we used the Wildberry and Pancake Cafe about 12 mins walk away. Excellent.

Nice clean and quiet room with the added bonus of a free drink at the bar for 2 each day of our stay. The staff on reception are very friendly and the house was very good. This was our 2nd time staying at the Hotel Felix and we once again enjoyed. The location is very good too.

Property was clean, room was very small and shower curtain was too short so bathroom would get flooded after each shower. Front desk staff never greeted when you walked into hotel. The hotel charges $26 urban fee which includes coffee, tea and fruits in the morning: you get oranges and apples and bananas if you get up early. The hotel is in a convenient location, you can walk to everywhere.

This one was great. The only complaint I have is it is $100 fee and they have a destination fee. That’s like $26 a day and they’ll deduct it from the hundred dollar deposit that you put on the room so depending on how long you stayyou won’t get back much And the valet is $73 a day and you have to pay for breakfast but other than that it’s a great location and there is cheaper parking down the street not a far walk. It’s pretty close to everything. Nothing is really a far walk so it’s nice. but you’re close to a lot of things Overall I will stay here again the room did get a little stuffy sometimes but overall, I would stay here again because everything went right

My main problem with this hotell was the cleanliness. I looked over and saw hairs on our pillow cases and a vape pen next to the bed on the floor. I had 3 teenage girls with me so this wasn’t acceptable.

Location is convenient to lots of destinations we were interested in and feels safe. Many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. are within 1 or 2 blocks. There’s plenty going on, but our room was very quiet. Room was a good size and very clean. Staff was eager to please and there was never a wait to be helped.

Within 5 minutes of being in the room. I stepped on a piece of glass leftover and cut my toe. There was also nail clippings on the floor of the room. It was clearly not cleaned properly

Rooms were infested with bed bugs, staff did very little to accommodate us other than moving rooms and refunding one night. Both rooms were infested with bed bugs, house keeping never came when requested didn’t reimburse for cleaning of our items.

The rooms have no charm, are extremely small (you can barely put the seat in front of the desk!). Bathroom and floor are clearly outdated. They ask you an extra fee for "coffee, hot water and gym" which you have for free in many hotels,and not available all day, but just in the morning (except expresso) no kettle in the room. Bottles available at $8. It looks like they try to save on everything they can. The doors are very loud and you can hear everything that happen in the corridors. Besides all these bad sides, the hotel/room is clean and staff very available and kind, but no enough to make me come back.

The room was good (not great). You are paying for the location. It is near a lot of great bars and restaurants. Better to stay in this area than the loop. However, for the price paid, the room was pretty small. The hallway was not very nice. I recommend for one night but not for an extended stay.

Shower was broken in my room and would only produce scalding hot water or ice water. Not kidding, when I stuck my hand under the water for literally a second, it came back bright red. This is even after adjusting the nob and waiting for it to fix. I told the front desk because this made the shower unusable and unsafe (seriously, a person could be badly hurt). I wasn’t offered another room, they just said they’d have someone try to fix it. Second day I was there, still not fixed. Spent $500 for a crappy bed in a tiny room and having to bathe in the sink. Contacted management to ask for even just a partial refund for the fact that I couldn’t bathe properly in their room. No response. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was still broken. Do not recommend.

My room was very small, with only about 3 feet available on each side of the queen bed plus the short hall and bathroom. There was a desk but no way to sit at it. It was definitely different than the images in Expedia. I’ll avoid this hotel in the future.

Overall the hotel was good. The staff was excellent and friendly. My biggest issue is it seems like it was recently renovated, and the fixtures were chosen to look trendy and the practicality was lacking. Specifically the bathroom sink was so shallow, you can't even wash your hands on it.

Cassidy the manager is amazing - she helped me with my existing booking and other stuff during my entire stay. She is on top of everything and helpful and polite to boot. I hope she’s there the next time I stay at the Felix.

We had a remarkable stay at The Felix. Our check-in agent, Marina, was amazing. She always greeted us with a warm smile and hello. She made the best cocktails. Marina went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was clean and the bed was so very comfortable. Never had stayed at The Felix, but it’s great location and friendly staff will be are go to for our next trip to Chicago.

The front desk staff was stellar! I cannot remember her name but she was training a new woman. She was amazing. They both were. She answered ALL of my many questions with grace and kindness. She was professional and helpful with recommendations for city dining as well. Thank you! I will be visiting again!

I’m currently still waiting to get my $100 deposit back. It was clear that i would get it back upon CHECK OUT! it’s been 2 days and i still don’t have MY money. Not only that but the staff member that checked me in had a horrible attitude and made me feel as if i was bothering her! very unprofessional!

The check in process was by far the best experience we have had to date. Marynas and Keegan went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Rooms and hotel were clean and safe. Not much noise at all. Highly recommend.

This hotel Is very nice, in a great location and convenient to our daughter’s location in River North. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating when we had to check out early due to the birth of our granddaughter! We will definitely stay again!

Staff was amazing! Hotel was very proactive in addressing an unforeseen issue with the entire building water main break. Resulting in loss of water. Sasha,Maryna,Rigel and Niki all worked together ensuring a very comfortable stay. Even the maintenance manager on duty remained calm and committed to resolving issue. I will book here just for their commitment to quality customer care.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience! Good 4-star hotel, I would definitely come back! The location of the hotel is fantastic! Had train and bus lines available no more that a couple of blocks away. McDonald’s, Target, Walgreens one block away. Michigan Ave 10 minutes away walking. Room was clean and neat! Shutters served well to blackout the room at night, bed and pillows were super comfy! Enjoyed the TV as well! Vending and ice machines both available in my floor. Reception was very helpful! Things that I didn’t understand or enjoyed: $26 dollar ‘Urban fee’ for “fresh fruit, coffee and tea”, business centre and gym - didn’t use any of those and the amount of the fee is a little high. Details in the room like torn curtains, old plaster not removed behind the soap/shampoo in the shower, very big office chair next to mirror, wireless phone not charging correctly. “Eco-friendly” hotel, I didn’t see any pro-environment features. There was no daily cleaning, but that’s not eco-friendly itself, that’s only cleaning on-demand. I would definitely come back!

Hotel is beautiful! However, there were minor things I noticed that they should pay attention too including the shower curtains which were noticeable destroyed. Staff at this hotel was great. The breakfast is a small selection of items but they are within walking distance of some great coffee shops.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Felix. Friendly staff, clean rooms with skin and haircare products, so you’re covered if you leave your body wash or shampoo at home by mistake. My only gripe is the rooms are a bit small and the hotel charges what it calls an urban fee ($26) for essential and non-essential amenities, which offering apples and oranges in the hotel bar area and happy hour with only a wine and beer is pretty mediocre.

Our room phone didn't work, there was no handset cord. We tried to crack open the window and the glass panel literally came unhinged. There was never anyone working the cafe downstairs. They had free fruit available in the morning, but it was only apples and oranges (the oranges seemed to be old and soft). Directory function in the room TV didn't work, and the TV or remote was so slow it was painful to try and navigate the channels. The standing shower in our room was so shallow the entire bathroom floor got wet. This place wasn't horrible, but it wasn't the nice hotel in the city that I expected. The staff was nice, the lobby is cute, and they have cheap wine at happy hour. Got the job done, but not a 4-star hotel.
