We stayed here two nights in August. Das Tyrol is a small boutique hotel with wonderful service and located within walking distance to many attractions. We felt safe and just loved the area overall. The room was comfortable, it was clean, and breakfast was great. Peter offered us a glass of champagne upon arrival. Bonus details: * be sure to book your free time in the private spa. The steam room and dry sauna are yours for an hour. * this place has a lot of mirrors. Heads up. * buy a tram pass and ride to all the attractions. The votive, Parliament, and don’t miss City Center in the summer. It’s a beer garden and great fun for everyone. Lots of food, too. * there is no parking so don’t drive here. We had to be dropped off.

Luxury at its best! Suites are beautiful and equipped with many modern touches. Private spa on the bottom floor, perfect after a long day or right before the flight. Wonderful staff and cute bar/restaurant area. Highly recommend

Yes great staff both in the breakfast bar and overnight staff. Free spa was amazing. Aufgusd Finnish style spa was nice touch and the fish tank provided great relaxation. Duvet on bed was really nice. May order one for myself!

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I loved the boutique style, the location was perfect for walking all over Vienna. It has a private spa in the basement which was free to use- I LOVED it. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Great style, very comfortable. My breakfast was included and was wonderful. I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The eclectic art collection seen in the common area is very interesting indeed. The made to order hot breakfast is excellent! Do try the sensational almond croissant! The best I have ever had! The coffee is also very good - but more operator dependent (most of the mornings were amazing apart from one morning when we had a different operator). The location is great for us as it is just a stone throw from the museum quarter and the U-Bahn station. It is about 10 min walk from the Stephenplatz but that is fine by us. Remember to book and try the private spa in the basement! It is included with the stay in the hotel. It is private and lovely to have this for an excellent experience. I would definitely stay here again!!

Nice hotel and great deal for being so central to everything. Parking is challenging if you expect on site parking - as we did since that’s how the property is advertised. Recommend to add note to property description about parking being in a public underground area 5 minutes away.

Set just off Mariahilfer Straße, you have shops and cafés right on your doorstep, while Vienna’s historic centre is an easy and pleasant walk away. Hotel Das Tyrol is lovely…there are many different decorative art pieces throughout. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. It’s an easy walk to many sites and the subway stops. The room was small but comfortable, including good storage space and a large, well-lighted bathroom. Definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Vienna.

The hotel is very well located within walking distance to most places we wanted to visit. The breakfast staff were great. We stayed for 4 nights and they remembered our coffee order and room number from day 2 onwards. The reception staff were helpful. We had an enjoyable stay and will recommend this hotel.

A very lovely hotel right in the city center. Great location with many venues within walking distance from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and kind. Eduard was excellent and went out of his way to help us. My son left his piano sheet music at home and wouldn’t have been able to participate in important music instruction without them. Eduard helped us by printing all of the pieces. He also helped store a birthday cake for us for a surprise celebration while in Vienna. There are many nice hotels in the vicinity but I always appreciate the kindness and the quality of service by staff, and this hotel certainly values high customer experience. Thank you Das Tyrol for helping to make our stay in Vienna a wonderful one!

We loved this hotel and want to go back. It is in an excellent location, the rooms are small and cozy, the staff is helpful and it was very clean. Breakfast took longer than expected and we needed to eat quickly to get to our bike group. We booked the spa for an hour which is included and the steam and sauna were so nice. Loved it all!

The breakfast was ala carte, not free, but the food was excellent and the dining area is lovely. The entire hotel is filled with art. My room was beautiful, spacious and very well appointed. I absolutely loved this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a "small luxury hotel" (that's what they call it, and it's true) for a reasonable price.
