Room was very clean, spacious, wonderful view. Pool and gym was nice. There are many walkable food and entertainment options. The Niagara state park is next door and the entrance to rainbow bridge. You can just walk across to canadian side to Clifton Hill of course with a passport.

If you’re staying on the American side this is the best spot due to location. The hotel itself is absolutely stayable but doesn’t live up to Holiday Inn standards IMO. We got there at 11:30 pm to check in and the key card wouldn’t let us in because the battery was dead. No big deal but that took an extra 30 min. Soon as you walk in a big full length mirror is on the wall but it’s leaning the the Leaning Tower of Piza. Seems like it was glued on that way because I tried to straighten it but I couldn’t get it to budge. Everything just looked outdated from the 80’s. Few holes in the walls had been patched up. Toilet was forever running. Shower drain was backed up. We work out like crazy and the gym was actually pretty nice TBH for a hotel gym but 2 or 3 treadmills were out of order. Otherwise the hotel was fine. Mainly cosmetic or just maintenance type issues to fix. It is a shame the American side is so run down though. and really the hotel just fits that sentiment.

We were visiting Niagara Falls and this hotel is literally across the street from the entrance of Niagara Falls state park. So for the location, I give it a 5. The hotel is older, but clean inside. There is an indoor pool, and arcade (good if you have kids). There is free coffee in the lobby each day. The Anchor Bar (home of the chicken wings) is attached to the hotel. It's good but expensive. The room was clean, but your average hotel room. My shower did not work, but it was promptly fixed within 30 min of me letting the front desk know about it. I would stay there again.

The room was clean a bit musty became of the carpets. Staff were friendly at the front desk. Air conditioner was noisy had to tern thermostat down to 60 degress to get it to work so the room got cold.

There were lots of bugs entering the property and the building was warm & humid. Elevator was dirty and hot, failed to display signs of it being inspected. The room had trash behind the beds. The AC didn’t cool and when it was running it was really loud. The bathroom is tiny - very limited to move around

Our bathroom shower was moldy and the room smelled like a locker room we were next to the ice machine which is extremely noisy at 5 am with people getting ice. Lots of kids and parents were letting them yell and run down the halls before 7 am. We checked out extremely early

Dust in the room was noticeable as soonest I walked in. Toilet was covered in mildew as well as bathtub.I had to wash the bathroom floor because it was full of hair and sticky.

I would say this hotel needs a complete renovation. It was very run down. The carpet in our bedroom was old and had not been cleaned in a while and the room and lobby has an odd smell. The Anchor Bar Where they serve the breakfast that you pay additional for was very rundown and dirty and the food was terrible. Overall, it is not what I would have expected for a room that cost over $350 a night. The one good thing I would say is that it does have a great location very close to the state park and to the Canadian border.

Proximity to activities was great, front desk staff were very helpful and nice and the room was pretty clean but we were rather disturbed to have a gap around the closed door that was so big it would easily allow someone to see into the room. With two daughters, I had to remember to stuff a hand towel into the space after every time the door was opened.

Great location and wonderful staff! However, this place is in desperate need of a renovation. Lots of peeling wallpaper and a super slow drain (eww!) the sheets were clean but really dirty windows.

The staff were friendly and polite. The beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. My son had a double bed with a pullout couch and the sheets they gave us barely covered the bed. We had to pay $20 for parking too.

The location was great but our room on the first floor was dark even with all of the lights available were on. One of the lights appeared to be broken but ultimately I discovered that the light bulb had been unscrewed. We also determined why this had been done - you cannot use it to charge your devices when the light is turned off. The room was clean although the bathroom shower had a mass of hair stuck to the wall. Finally the room could use another chair and there was also no spare blanket in the room. That all being said the room met our needs and we would consider staying there again.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. They assisted us by ensuring our booking was not canceled on the day of our arrival, even though we hadn’t checked in yet. We had opted to pay at the property, but hotels.com wanted to charge our card before we arrived or cancel the room. Bad experience! We booked through Expedia.Next day I noticed that in my bank account I have two other charges.In front desk they admitted that they overcharged us by mistake and they assured us that the payments will be reversed soon.I have one payment returned and still waiting for the other one

Being from Orlando, I expected to pay for parking, but it was pretty expensive. I also expected a little bit more of a response when we reported that the tub was drifting. Everyone was really nice, but I don't think anyone came up to assess or, the fix needs more than they could do while we were there, but we really didn't get any word back.

We enjoyed our stay! Staff was very nice and always available. Room was clean at check in and cleaned while we were out for the day. Pool was clean, a little cold but very nice for kids. The Anchor Bar and Grill attached was delicious. Everything was within walking distance and we felt very safe during our stay. Parking was an additional charge but so much easier than trying to find a spot anywhere else. Thank you for a great experience!

The receptionist was very rude, gave us a terrible room, which was not that clean. We were looking for some cash change and dint help us with that. The housekeeping woke us up by knocking on door at 9 am asking if we want towels. And when i told them you woke us up, she said its my duty to ask. Our room didn’t get cleaned even once in two nights

The lighting around the property sucks so walking to the Falls feels iffy. The young lady checking us in was rude, short with us, and very slow. The furniture in the lobby areas looked dirty and stained; did not want to sit down or put my stuff down in this area. The beds were super comfortable (only good thing). The shower area wasn’t cleaned and the toilet was damn near to the ground. Even though we were supposed to get a view of the river, we got a view of the roof instead. Correct side of the hotel but not high enough to clear the building. $20 for parking seems excessive…whatever happened to free parking if you’re staying somewhere. Limited handicap spots so we got stuck walking from the far reaches of the unknown. Plus they have a $20 hotel fee of some sort. Wish they would have just rolled all these fees into one payment. I’m sure we could have stayed at a nicer hotel for the price we ended up paying here after being nickeled and dimed to death.

I only give this hotel 3 stars because the actual staff of the hotel are nice, and the location is great. The housekeeping staff threw away our items after we told them not to come in as we were not checked out yet. The phone was not working so I had to keep taking the elevator down to speak to the front desk for help. The room itself was not clean, I found candy wrappers from previous tenants in the room. The vent is dirty in the bathroom so the ventilation was poor. I was honestly super upset with the experience towards the end with housekeeping. I repeated to two different staff members three times I was not checking out way before 10am, and checkout was 11. They still went in the room and took my items and almost tossed them.If I had not come when I came to get the remaining things, I would have not gotten my things back.

Very clean and updated facility. It was all new and modern. The rooms were well appointed and the hotel location is perfectly situated for walking just about anywhere you'd like. Canada was a 20 minute walk, Goat island 10 minutes. Coffee machines are available in room as well as a microwave and refrigerator. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap are provided in large bottles attached to the walls which was a nice change from funky little bottles. The products said Dove but I can't be sure of the refill process (smells good but i don't think dove). The pool was very clean and there are several nice seating areas around the lobby floor. The single let down was the star at the restaurant. The restaurant had plenty of seating on Sunday night and we were ignored by a "hostess" who had what looked like a bus boy or waiter having in her body inappropriately. Eye contact was made, whispers ensued then we were told 35 minutes. The place was not full at all and there were empty tables outside as well. On our return from a beautiful restaurant across the street, we witnessed the same busboy/waiter hanging on a flirting outside with another waitress. I guess it's the war things go. We wanted to order breakfast and try lunch the next day but we're so put off we avoided it for the rest of our trip.

We went in the off season so the winter prices were great and a few blocks from the falls. There was a great restaurant in the hotel with a bar.the inside of the hotel was very nice.the hotel staff and restaurant staff were friendly and fantastic.If I had to say anything negative it would be the surrounding area was run down with many boarded up buildings but still had a great time.I might not walk around at night though in the off season.

Walking distance to EVERYTHING! Staff was great! Rooms were clean, and perfect! Needs some renovations to the bathroom but I did see some signs up that they were doing renovations in parts of the hotel! Pool was warm! Dinner at anchor bar was great! And kids eat free under 12 if accompanied by an adult buying their own dinner! Breakfast at anchor bar same way, but I will say they should stick to cooking their wings which is what they are good at! Breakfast there was not for us, but could just be understaffed or what not! Would definitely return tho as it’s exactly where we needed to be to walk to everything! Niagara Falls, the arcade room (which is NOT on site but around the corner) the casino is walking distance too! Good part of the area too!

This is a lovely property. Clean and fairly new. Restaurant was convenient . Ideally located next to State Park. The down side was the hallway stunk, you get blasted with hot air when you enter and we had to pay almost 20.00 to park in the hotel parking lot. This was a surprise charge as it was not listed on the Expedia app.

We paid extra for breakfast not realizing it would be in Anchor Bar. The service was subpar and the food was awful. Half of the menu was not included in the paid for meal and what we did get was undercooked or bland. Don’t waste your money. Also we could not find a working ice machine.

This hotel was a great value for the money. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, pretty much had everting you need covered. The attached restaurant, "Anchor Bar" was very questionable. Breakfast, the food was terrible but the waitress really tried. Dinner, the food was wonderful but the serviced sucked.

Our Shower was clogged (which they did fix immediately). Paint was peeling (but thats ok as its just estheitc). There was no liquid body wash bottle even though bottles for lotion, hand wash, shampoo & conditioner were available. The food in the restaurant was inedible, for ex. the sourdough toast were two pieces of bread soaked in grease! Not sourdough, not toasted! Waffles were doughy and potatoes had no taste, no salt. Hotel is somewhat ok but do skip the attached restaurant.

Overall hotel is okay. Close to fall and walking distance. We added breakfast package $25 per person. We were told the breakfast will be served Anchor Bar in the hotel. Food was horrible. Food was cold and couldn’t finish entire meals. It was such a waste of money and time. I would rather eat Mcdonald’s. Trust me 😵 save your money. Do not include breakfast option!!!
