Stay away from this place! Get out of the area. My truck was broken into over night. When the officers asked to see hotel video footage they claimed there was a glitch in the security system that night and there were no recordings. The hotels no help in a robbery situation.

The staff is nice, but I was not very satisfied. I was unable to find a working ice machine and the pool was closed. I was also told that dinner would be available from 5-9 pm, but when I wanted to get dinner, I was told they weren't open because there was no food. It's ridiculous to offer something and then you don't provide. I had read the reviews prior to my stay, but decided to try it anyway and I can say that the comments should be heeded.

First of all they didn’t have my single room ready. Had to get into a room with 2 beds. Elevator was not working properly. Stood inline waiting for an elevator for 6-8mins. The second floor smelled like wet carpet and bleach. The ice machine was out of order on the second floor went to the next couple of floors and neither of those worked. The A.C. in the room was super loud. Plus they don’t have Continental breakfast either. It’s $10.00 to eat their buffet but let me tell you it’s not worth it. Trust I travel a lot for work and have stayed at some bad ones but this one had too many issues at the same time…😑

The property was centrally located and I did have great customer service at check in. The elevator was down my entire stay and I am asthmatic so this was a inconvenience. I would have asked for a ground floor room if I knew. I ask both nights shift front desk clerks about the elevator and they both said "it just broke". Which is very untrue. There is a note in the stairwell that states that the elevator has been broken forever. I would not recommend anyone with health concerns, elderly or disable to stay hear. There was also pretty musty scent through out the hotel in the lobby and the hallways. it was not in the room but very disturbing.

Ended up having to change rooms late in the 2nd day of my stay because the shower that had been reported that morning was still not repaired. Moved to the new room and got to work responding to day's email from not being in the office and didn't notice until late that the floor of the bathroom had not been mopped since at least the prior occupant's stay - as a guy, looking at an unclean black marble floor, you know what you're looking at. Needless to say, that's just poor and it was too late in the evening for me to change rooms again. I noticed after that that most of the surfaces (sink top, side tables, etc) had clearly not been wiped down in some time. Next morning I go to have breakfast and the only people there were me and the attendant who was intently watching Youtube videos by the bar (I couldn't help but hear them.) I almost sat in a sticky chair that someone had clearly spilled a drink in and onto the floor below. I left the chair to the side of the table to signal "hey - this is a mess." After breakfast, I walked up to the desk to share my concerns as I was leaving and noticed that the chair that I was pointing out was pushed back in and nothing had been cleaned up. This just signals to me a lack of supervision and focus on details. I didn't realize this hotel was part of the Marriott chain but it certainly isn't part of the standards I was taught by Marriott early in my career. Just disappointing - I actually like the hotel.

The hotel looks great and cozy, with comfortable “living room” settings in lobby and each floor’s elevator lobby. The rooms are okay, but nothing more than that. Beds are not too comfortable for heavier persons (90kg plus) as they are too soft. The 5th floor hallway smells strange, like mould, and room 517 smelled the same. After sleeping one night there, we couldnt stand the smell any longer and asked for another room, which was provided promptly. The next room 525 also had a peculiar smell but at least not like mould. The breakfast was okay, not too many choices of cold dishes but at least continental standard warm dishes (egg, sausage, bacon). We booked the room with breakfast included trough hotels.com but this didnt show up in the hotel’s system, however after discussing the issue during check in, the hotel still decided to provide us the breakfast for free. Thank you.

This hotel is terrible. Pre covid it was SO good, we loved it. I thought it would be so much better once it was renovated, but no. When we arrived, no one was there to check us in. they had a sign out that said “have a seat we’ll be right with you”. Ok…finally someone came. We checked in, our room had 1 bed. I paid for 2 beds. Back downstairs we go. New room had an A/C unit SO LOUD, my kid couldn’t even sleep. Back downstairs we go. As I walk to the desk, a random kid with greasy hair comes up and stands beside me. “Can I help you?” Uhhh me: “oh you work here?!” He’s in jeans and a tshirt, no name tag, no professionalism, how was I supposed to know. So I tell him all about my room and he says “well it’s a lottery. I can’t guarantee you’ll get a quiet AC unit if I move too rooms. We get a lot of complaints about that.” WHAT! Ok…requested a move anyway. THANKFULLY this new room was good. But there were so many nuances w this hotel. The bathroom doors are missing nobs, and there’s a huge gap between the doors it offers NO privacy. The elevator looks like they cleaned it w the wrong cleaner and now has stains and streaks everywhere. And as I walked into it, the doors shut on me and it hurt! Like it didn’t sense me. It was odd. For $99 I guess I got what I paid for but I will never stay here ever again.

Staffs were nice, room was clean when I got there but they did not clean it the next day, ac unit was not working properly was on and off every minute and it's soo loud that i couldn't sleep, I asked front desk to send someone to check it out or transfer to another room but they did not do anything, swimming pool and gym were okay, overall not my best experience so I'll never stay or recommend anyone to stay there

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Shannon was great, and very accommodating as I had an early flight and helped get an early check in as well as a late checkout. Overall great experience, one thing I would mention is that the water is pretty cold, hot water doesn’t really work.

From the moment we checked in, our stay at this hotel was frustrating and disappointing. As soon as we used the restroom in our original room, we realized it was clogged. In the second room, things didn't improve. Within 30 minutes, the power in the bathroom went out completely. The shower and fridge had visible mold, and it was clear the room hadn't been properly maintained. The front desk staff didn't seem to care much and didn't offer any real assistance. One person was seated the entire time we passed through the lobby. Overall, this was a very poor experience. We were left to handle issues on our own, and the staff's lack of urgency or basic hospitality made it even worse. I would not recommend staying here.

The bedding and sheets seemed as if they’ve been there for a while, it was worn out in the shape of a body (the sheets) and just seemed stale and worn. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I asked for fresh sheets and was given some on request, but I had to pick them up from the desk and put them on myself, which isn’t a huge deal but I had just worked 12 hours straight and that was the last thing I wanted to do when I got back to the hotel. The receptionist said the staff had left for the day, which is understandable. But other than that the staff was great.

I called a day before my check in, the day of my check at 6am(no one answered), and called again two after 6am about an early check-in and never said anything about a fee or how the early check in process. I was told no every time and was given a bogus excuse on why I couldn’t. We arrive at this hotel at 11:45pm and sat in the parking lot and the lobby until we were told we could check in which was 3pm. The lady at the front desk was very rude and was not a very nice and helpful person to talk to. 2:15pm came around and she then proceeds to tell me my room was all of sudden ready but it would be a $40 fee to check in. I told her I would wait for 3 o’clock. Finally I check in and we get the keys to the room, to get upstairs and the keys wouldn’t work. I went back down and she tried to call someone and she swiped to get my keys activated and when I went back upstairs the keys did not work again. My sister proceeded to go back and get the keys checked and they said my card did not go through and it showed that I paid and it went through. I told them I was not swiping again. I went downstairs and the lady were dealing had grabbed her things and stormed out and left. The next front desk lady told me she had not finished the check in process and that’s why the keys didn’t work. We ended being assigned a new room. When we got to the room the shower curtains were filthy and when I went to call the front desk, the phone was not working. We never got any issues resolved. Just terrible!

Services have changed and Orbitz have not updated. The facility is charging for breakfast per person when just last month in November it was free. Housekeeping does not play attention to cleaning. We had to repeat for them to sweep because they had not done so the day before. Since our last stay in November it has changed a lot, not sure if it’s new owners or what happened.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I visit Houston often. Upon check in, the lady at the front desk charged me double than what I was supposed to be charged. Not only that, when I walked into the room, the tv did not turn on, the heater didn’t work, and none of the room lights worked either. When I asked to switch rooms I was told no that someone was going to come out to fix the problem. I waited 4 hours and no one came. I called the front desk and was told I still couldn’t move rooms and had to wait for someone to come out. It took a total of 7 hours (9pm) until I was transferred to another room (different shift was working). I basically wasted my night stuck in a room where nothing worked. I still have not received my refund for the overcharge on my account.

Two weeks ago, we made a weekend reservation at this hotel, and our experience was absolutely wonderful! Rehab and the rest of the staff provided outstanding service, making us feel welcome and cared for. The hotel was peaceful and relaxing, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The only thing to keep in mind is that having a car is quite necessary to get around, as public transportation options in the area are limited. Other than that, it was a perfect stay!

Overall this was a good stay. There are many upgrades bring made around the property that are noticeable and welcomed. My room was clean, and properly stocked. No milk available in breakfast. I had my 2 year old child with me. Even though we paid for breakfast we weren’t able to get any breakfast. No coffee in breakfast area. If you are gonna charge for breakfast at least provide better service. When I asked front desk if there is milk she just like oh we didn’t had delivery today. Just like she didn’t care. Not staying at this hotel in future. Terrible service. Spent $110 for a night stay and it’s not even worth a dime.

The hotel looks great and cozy, with comfortable “living room” settings in lobby and each floor’s elevator lobby. The rooms are okay, but nothing more than that. Beds are not too comfortable for heavier persons (90kg plus) as they are too soft. The 5th floor hallway smells strange, like mould, and room 517 smelled the same. After sleeping one night there, we couldnt stand the smell any longer and asked for another room, which was provided promptly. The next room 525 also had a peculiar smell but at least not like mould. The breakfast was okay, not too many choices of cold dishes but at least continental standard warm dishes (egg, sausage, bacon). We booked the room with breakfast included trough hotels.com but this didnt show up in the hotel’s system, however after discussing the issue during check in, the hotel still decided to provide us the breakfast for free. Thank you.

Everything was good from the check in to the check out. The only thing lacking is the breakfast for the amount charged per day is it's not worth. The area was not really being cleaned constantly, the food was cold, the person in charge was not refilling the juices nor the coffee.
