Hotel was well situated to get the bus into Catania or walk if feeling fit! Our room was nice, comfy bed but had issue with ants! Hotel came to deal with them immediately but they were still quite a lot in the room and bathroom. We also had a blocked sink which again they dealt with. Breakfast was typically European with nice pastries, cakes were pretty tasteless though and scrambled eggs were often cold which wasn't great. Restaurant had good food, very tasty but pricey; €18 for a pretty bland mozzarella and tomato salad Overall we'd give it 3.5 stars.

Very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Room was a good size and a nice sea view. Room was well sound proofed from outside road noise; it was nice to sit on the balcony in the evening. Parking underground at €10 per night and we used their travel cot for our little one. Approximately 20mins from Catania Airport.

The hotel is old and dirty. The room is small and the shower didn't drain properly. The walls and windows are thin and you can hear the noises from both inside and outside the hotel. This hotel is far from being a four-stars hotel.
