Catania International Airport Hotel

The staff is very professional and helpful and the shuttle to the airport is wonderful, since taxis cost €20-25 one way. The restaurant has good foo, which makes this stay doable, since we found food in the neighborhood to be awful and it was dangerous to walk there with traffic and the lack of sidewalks. The pool is very nice and clean, as are the grounds. Breakfast is included and is okay. Coffee is from a machine and while there are many options, they are not all high quality. I opted for a yogurt and a pear, which was fresh and delicious.

Run down property that is over priced for the convenience of being close to the airport.

The shuttle service starts at 5 Am and if you have an earlier flight you need to take a taxi which can cost e 25 for a short drive. We took an Uber that was half. Hotel is good and its is a good choice for an overnight.

The location isn’t great for getting around the city but it’s convenient and our room was very big and clean. The hotel itself was very clean with an onsight restaurant.

We had an early flight home after our holiday. So we decided to spend the night before in this hotel. We arrived at about 6 P.M. Getting our room key was easy. Room was perfect! Afterwards a drink outside on the terrace. Then dining in the restaurant. Tasty food and drinks and very nice waiters. Price - quality was good. After a short night at 5 A.M. the hotel shuttle bus to the airport: a piece of cake! Next time in Sicily we probably will make the same choice!

Very convenient transit with free shuttle to the airport

It all feels a little run down. On the positive side, the staff at the front desk were very professional and responsive. Additional towels we needed arrived promptly. However the carpets need a good clean, the curtains had holes in them. Overall, in need of sprucing up. It seemed an especially poor value; the high tariff reflective of a lack of competition close to the airport. Breakfast included was OK, just OK.

A pesar de no ser un hotel de lujo, cumple con su propósito si se trata de estar ubicado junto al aeropuerto de Catania. Tiene piscina, las habitaciones son amplias, y el personal muy atento. El desayuno (incluido) es generoso y el restaurante superó nuestras expectativas.

Although it is an airport hotel, the hotel is relatively far from the Terminal (not walking distance with luggage). Although there are shuttles, but at limited hours. Due to an early flight I requested an early shuttle as well as a packed breakfast. I was denied both requests. Apart from these, the hotel itself is very clean and comfortable!

The room was bare bones. There wasn't a coffeemaker, just a couple of bottles of shampoo and a bar of soap. The shower was dark and moldy. It also leaked all over the floor. The breakfast buffet should start earlier. I had 8:00 AM flight and missed.

Belle hôtel en apparence.problème salle de bains,planche wc cassée risque de blessure. Obviously, the convenience to the airport is worth a higher rate but the room was not clean and the bedding was absolutely gross. It looked like the bed covering had never been cleaned. Would not stay here again.

Perfectly adequate for the night we arrived at the airport, but room lacked any charm and the only concession to comfort was 2 free bottles of water Good selection at breakfast, however.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport and they have a shuttle service. Staff is very professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. We have stayed at the hotel twice and enjoyed it. Great view of Mt. Etna too.

Restaurant was beperkt voor avondmaal vriendelijke was het ook niet echt bij de check in en out werd er als een militaire bevolen naar daar te komen en het woord alsjeblieft en dank u zijn een vreemd woord voor de balie mensen lachen en schouder op trekken en niet al te vriendelijk commentaar over de klant die voor hem staat valt tegen als je Italiaanse verstaat

Really great service, the most beauty gym place, very authentic and just lovely.

Great spot after long day of flying. Quick shuttle pickup, clean quiet room and excellent buffet breakfast.

We liked our rooms, staff went out of way to make our stay enjoyable, restaurant was disorganized, one took order but never followed through..middle person serving had all info..menu very limited for dinner .Area around was on busy road so could not go to any store

Günstige Lage in Flughafen Nähe

Was not an area that one would walk around in and there were no nearby restaurants/cafe's/amenities.

Pro: convient, and the, shuttle service to and from the airport is awesome. Staff is very nice. You can take a city bus #524 into and from Catania for 1 euro one way. Stop is about a block away from the hotel. The Morning breakfast is plentiful but nothing special.The rooms are big which is nice as I had to repack suitcases for the flight to the states home. And the mattresses were good. Con: The restaurant in the evening is NOT GOOD. The service is fine but I probably had the worst meal in all of Sicily there. Mind you my husband and I only wanted something light to eat, not a 3 course meal. I ordered Minestrone soup. It was broth with frozen vegetables and a few potatoes cut up. Really? Cambells soup is better. My husband ordered some pasta with egg plant he could not finish it. No tomato sauce or creamy sauce. He kept choking on it. I would recommend you eat dinner else where.also the hotel sits in a industrial area but I never felt unsafe coming or going to the hotel when I was out walking. Also just be aware the hotel is heavily used.There is a high turn over rate of customers. I think most people stay just a night or two. Because of the high turn over rate the wear and tear shows on the carpets, the walls, the elevators, the furniture etc. I really think the price for one night stay is over priced. But I think it is the connivence you pay for. Overall, I would stay here again if I had a flight out of Catania. The staff and the Connivence were worth it for us.

The hotel was very clean and the staff helpful. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. The amenities were very sparse. A coffee/ tea kettle would have been nice especially since their coffee bar doesn’t open till 8 am and when you have to take a early morning flight it would be good to have a coffee in your room. The restaurant food was good but a bit expensive.
