The room was huge, clean, but woefully underequipped. There was an empty fridge, but no bottled water for the room, no glasses, not even plastic cups. There was no folder with information, and only 2 coathangers in the wardrobe. Fixed containers of liquid soap, of course, 1 over the washbasin, 1 in the shower. There was a balcony, with a view over a disused industrial building. We have stayed in this hotel before, but it seemed less Spartan then. Breakfast was OK, but of basic quality.

There were no chairs by the unheated pool. There was no soap in the shower. Incredible amount of dust under bed. No cups or glasses in room. Towels were worn, and thin. The breakfast was cold. Almost no coffee was left. And the phone and TV in room did not work. There was no mat in the shower and it was very slippery.

Hotel is definitely not at a 4-star standard. Apparent vomit stains on carpet in hallway; loose cabling with live ends in guest room; black mold in shower. Neighbourhood did not feel particularly safe - walking to beach did not feel like an option for a solo traveller.

Was not an area that one would walk around in and there were no nearby restaurants/cafe's/amenities.
