The pool water was too cold

The swimming pool chairs are molded not clean very upset kids wanted to swim and it was very cold. And … they had a wedding reception and it was right under our room abs the music was very very very loud and shaking our room not very happy can’t even relax for what I’ve paid for my room. Went to complain on the loud music and they said it shouldn’t be loud and it will last till 1130! I’m very upset

We arrived about 6pm and once checked in, we were unable to get service in the bar area. We checked about 3 times and asked the front desk before we were funally served. We swam in the pool ans they were out I f towels to dry off with once we were ready to return to our room at 10pm. This led us to trecking back to our 4th floor room, leaving a water trail. We were thank ful for thw muggy temp at this time, but it sure made it difficult to sleep. We were unable to get the AC Unit in our room to regulate the whole time we were there. The checkout time was showing noon and while i was dressing after swimming about 11:25, the custodians opened the door and stated check p ut was at 11. I called the front desk and told them the situation and thwy did not confirm the actual checkout time but told us we were good and "it was fine". SO, Unsure if we had secured a later checkout or were late checking out. The rooms were stocked with dishes and all needed to cook quick grocery items, however, there wasnt any silverware to be found. They next morning at breakfast they again had their closing time listed at 10:30 but were frustrated when were in line at 10:10. They front desk employee huffed around the dining area and got us dishes and silverware and the lady tending the buffett went and made a few sausage patties to go with the two biscuits, spoonful of eggs already out. We asked about the other dishes they had and were told they wouldnt make more as they closed at 10.

The only thing I didn't like is the pool is cold and uh, extremely rough on the bottom. Otherwise, this place is very clean and well run.

Staff was amazing, friendly and super helpful! Only "complaint" was the pool was a little grungy, not very welcoming. Otherwise everything was just perfect!

This property has a ballroom and it was rented out until 11pm for a family reunion with a DJ and they were jamming. If I had known this was a possibility, I would’ve stayed somewhere else. Also, this location has those cheaper, scratchy sheets. Holiday Inn Express is much better.

For sure the bathroom had black mold. Looked like a newer hotel on the outside but was pretty gross in the rooms. Won’t stay here again.

Arrived on a Sunday night around 9pm. Walked into the lobby to nearly all lights out and a couple cozily watching a video in the corner. Apparently one of them was the desk clerk, because they eventually got up and checked us in, after we wandered around looking for a worker. When we got out of the elevator, we were overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway and in our room. I get that a lot of hotels used to have smoking rooms once upon a time, but I think some deep cleaning is needed, especially for the carpets. Since the smell was in the halls and we had an early morning departure for surgery nearby, I didn’t request a different room. The room itself was fine, the odor wasn’t AS strong, but definitely noticeable, especially after coming back out from a shower.

Needs updates. Bathroom grout is disgusting and there’s mold in the shower. Whole hotel smells musty.

not clean: a lot of mold and mildew in the grout of the shower in 311. we moved to 211. still not acceptable. otherwise room ok but nothing special.

The awful smell in the hallway

The location was ideal based on the family we were visiting. The staff was very friendly. The only complaint is that the floor we were on, and the room we stayed in smelled musty, like a damp towel left to long on the floor. It also didn't appear as of our room was vacuumed the entire stay (7 days). The linens and towels were changed. Overall, it was acceptable. I probably will stay there again because of the price.

The room smelled moldy, likel the walls or carpet were wet, I was congested the entire time I was in my room, the sheets even felt damp and there was a stain on the bed sheets. Not pleased with the room/hotel

Nice clean room, property and breakfast was wonderful. Checking in and out was easy and staff was very friendly. Property was very close to the soccer fields our grandson’s soccer team played at and also close to Lots of great eating places.

The staff was extremely helpful! We really enjoyed that they have a snack/bar/breakfast area. The room was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. Only issue we really had was the AC would not stay on even though we chose the “stay on.” It would run constant but rev up and down noticeably every 15 minutes. The rev up would start with a hum and rattling. Making for a restless night sleep. My suggestion is bring your own white noise and turn up the volume to override the AC.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Holiday Inn hotel. When we checked into our room the AC was off. We put it on 66 degrees. Let to go eat to kill a few hours. Came back to the room and seemed to be cooling. Woke up at 2:00 am with AC blowing hot air. Couldn’t call the front desk because the phone in the room didn’t work. Had to get dressed to go to front desk. They moved us to another room, which the AC did work, but we only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep. We were only in town for 1 night for a funeral. The staff was nice and apologized, but still got charged full price.

The internet was not good but nothing was terrible.

Noisy air conditioner that would stop cooling, yet even after making known to staff, nothing was done.

The hotel itself was clean, staff friendly, beds comfortable - the floor in our room was wavy...that is the best way to describe it. It would slope up and down in the limited walking area of the room, so it's weird it was that noticeable.

Wonderful room. Very spacious, I liked the separate bedroom as I got up early and didn’t disturb my husband

When I arrived the two front desk employees were talking and I was not acknowledged but once I was it was a fast check in process. Room key didn’t work on our 2nd day and when I had to go down to get it activated again the guy at the front desk was not nice about it and pretty much insinuated I had the card on my phone and that’s why it stopped working. But other then that stay was fine and a convenient spot for us.

Great customer service!

2 things: #1 the man who checked us in was a bit snarky, which I didn’t care for. #2 they had us put down a $25 deposit for our room keys and sign a form that we would return them. The next morning when we checked out I gave them the keys and they said I would get my $ back. As of today the charge has posted and the refund has not. Hopefully it will post soon, but… why did I have to do that?

Booked a king suite, checked in and was charged for a king suite. Room was already occupied when we went in, luckily they weren't in the room because that's a good way to get shot. Called the front desk and said somebody has their things in this room, she comes up. Girl says "I must've messed up the rooms when I was doing the reservations. I can put you in a standard king and discount it for your inconvenience" 2 days later I go to check out and ask if the room was discounted. She says no because you booked through Expedia and not us. Yes I booked through Expedia but I paid AT THE HOTEL. You can't tell me she couldn't have went back in and changed the amount charged to my card, since I had just paid there 15 minutes prior and she screwed up my reservation. The suite included complimentary breakfast for 2 but apparently the standard king didn't. Sign said breakfast buffet $9.99. I wasn't about to pay for $40 worth of breakfast for 2 days after I had already paid the extra in the beginning for a suite not a standard room. Day 2 only parking was in the back, neither key card worked so had to walk all the way around to the front door, I have a bad hip. 2 ladies at the desk. Said our keys won't open the door. Never seen either of them before this moment. Girl asked what room and programmed the cards again. Didn't ask for ID, didn't even ask our names. Could've found the keys laying in the parking lot, just said a random room and had access to steal their things

The room was nice but the pillows were terrible. No soap bars in restroom. Also the location there is not much to eat if you don’t have a car. Breakfast was terrible! Only the egg was good. We stayed one night so it was okay but I have been to better hotels

The hotel was fine. Indoor pool area was good and the room was excellent. Breakfast on the other-hand was ok. I would not pay $9.99 for food that at another Holiday Inn's is free. Not too sure why.

The rooms were not as nice as other Holiday Inn’s I have stayed in, but it wasn’t to bad. We made sure to find a hotel that served breakfast and they did not offer it, even tho they gave us coupons for it at check in. The check in people were very friendly, but the next day the staff wasn’t near as friendly.

Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was so so. Coffee tasted burnt.

Great hotel. Clean and inviting. Breakfast buffet is $10, but it has anything you would want to eat, including fruits, bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, yogurt… everything. Couldn’t eat anywhere for that!

We will definitely be staying here again when we are in Texas annually. Free coffee and ice water and chocolate chip cookies always in lobby. Breakfast was the best I’ve seen. So clean, quiet, and in an excellent area! Staff were very kind and accommodating. Thank you!

The stay here was good however the breakfast was noted to be included in my price and they also advertised on their website free breakfast but yet charges 9.99 per person. So I wasn’t able to try the breakfast. The room was clean and spacious and had everything you needed inside.

This is a Holiday Inn Express experience - NOT a Holiday Inn experience. The restaurant / bar is closed and the breakfast is identical to Express but was not ready til nearly 7 am each morning. Very disappointing
