Great location. Hotel staff tries to sell you Hilton Honors timeshare-ish packages to you standing in the middle of the lobby which is annoying. The coffee at the cafe (self-serve with coffee-mate type creamers), is $5/cup for subpar coffee. The cafe hours suck. Bar is closed Saturday and Sunday. Little to no clothing or luggage storage space in the room. On the plus side it was clean and housekeeping did well. Multiple homeless folks were directly outside the hotel begging which isn’t a great look.

We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and it has been renovated since then. Overall, we had a good stay and would stay here again. A few things to note: elevators are slow, lobby bar is closed Saturdays and Sundays (seems like those should be the days it's open if it can't be open every night) and the rooftop bar that used to be part of the property is not there anymore. We did have a great view of the Empire State Building and several subway stations very close by.

We had a wonderful experience here in midtown. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They had cars waiting for my trip to the airport. It was a lovely experience!
