I booked a room with a roll-in shower and didn't get that type of room. I don't know if it was Hotel.com or the hotel but the hotel said I booked a handicap room with tub. Be careful. All handicap parking was full both nights we stayed. The staff tried to swap rooms but the system wouldn't let them. During our stay there was only one elevator working so there was always a wait to use the elevator. For the pet lovers- I saw plenty of pets with their owners enjoying their stay.

Breakfast was decent but doesn't seem to change; the bed was hard as a rock to sleep on; the pull out couch was ripped & falling apart; the AC unit was not working properly to cool the room; the toilet was very low; the shower water pressure was not very strong. It was nice having an indoor & outdoor pool; hot tub is very small; hotel location was nice!

Hot tub was broken second day but worked on the next day. We didn’t get clean towels on the second day, but we weren’t told we had to request room service at check in. Desk then gave us new towels. We didn’t know that all rooms didn’t have refrigerators, but the desk got us one. Overall, the lady working the desk was awesome, but some of those things should have been told to us when we made our reservations.

The hotel is very close to Colonial Williamsburg. Room was clean and comfortable, but in need of remodeling. The staff was very nice and accommodating, especially the breakfast staff...they were amazing. The hot breakfast was delicious and different every morning.

Room was run down, a table so weak, you couldn't put anything on it, the desk had skid marks and a chair was full of stains. We travelled with a pet and understand we will not get the cleanest room, but I most likely would not stay again there when travelling with a pet. Breakfast was great, lobby clean and inviting. Maybe we just had bad luck with the room

Shower didn’t work. And it took them an hour the morning of my stay to come up there and deal with it and when they did look at it- they said sorry can’t fix it. Another hour goes by and they send a woman who fixed it. I had to be somewhere but their time is more valuable than mine. There was mold all over the bathroom walls. No refrigerator. The hotel needs to have an overhaul and brought up to date.

I reserved a King Suite and it was the nicest hotel room I have ever had! I tend to be a "value traveler" and only sleep in my room, often for only one night. This was going to be a 6 night trip to see Historic Williamsburg over Christmas, so I figured I would spend more time in my room than normal. The room was huge! I had two sinks, one in the bath and one in the efficiency kitchen area. There was a Keurig in the room. The breakfasts were mostly good. The scrambled eggs and bacon was great, but the omelets left a lot to be desired. On those days (rotating breakfast entrees) I ate hard boiled eggs. The fried potatoes were always soggy as can be expected in a steam tray. There was always something worth eating. The coffee was plentiful and strong, even my favorite decaf, and 24/7 in the lobby. Every staff person I dealt with was delightful.

An extra chair in room beside the one that goes at the desk and a guide of programs on the tv. The button was on the remote, but the function wasn't enabled.

This was a 3 night stay in a king studio suite. Room was a nice size but had no privacy from the outside, room located on the 1st floor directly visible to the parking lot, no blinds, only black out curtains which we had keep closed for 3 days so we didn’t have people looking directly into our room. We also had to get our room key changed 7 times in 3 days to access our room & the digital key option was not available from the Hilton honor app. The mattress was too firm. The front desk & housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating. Their customer service made the negative issues bearable. We recommend updating bathroom tub to a walk in shower, moving the bathroom light switch next to the door instead of next to the toilet behind the door and adding privacy blinds to the 1st floor front rooms. We may consider staying here again.

This hotel served the purpose of our weekend getaway. For longer stays I don’t think it would. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. Hotel is a remodel from another hotel I think. It was clean but showing some age. Breakfast was great. Lots of selections and filled regularly. Had room issue when we first checked in and they corrected it immediately.

Hampton Inn & Suites Williamsburg-Central is really good place to stay while visiting Williamsburg! The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. I asked for a bottle of drinking water and they handed me four bottles. I needed an extra flat sheet and they provided it to me right away! We will be staying there again in future!

We enjoyed our stay and thought most staff were friendly and courteous, although when we arrived for check in, we waited about 20 mins before someone came to the front desk. When she finally arrived, I stayed we had been waiting and couldn’t find a staff member, and she was unapologetic and mumbling.

Front desk staff was fine. However we arrived 310pm local time (check-in is 3pm according to website) and they said the room was not ready. Front desk lady called her cleaning lady to hurry her to get the room ready and in front of us said: "its not ready, just let them wait, check in is 4pm". So overall service was poor. The rooms are old, with stains on the sofa chairs, old tv, old bathroom. Breakfast was good. Not much parking space when full.

I want to personally thank "Tina" for her awesome customer service, hard working, kindness and friendliness! She did not know but, I was not having a great day and was tired from the travel. Her energy lite up the hotel and lift my spirits! Sometimes we never know what a person maybe going through. A smile and kind words can make a difference! Yes!
