DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Detroit Downtown - Fort Shelby

Very friendly staff (day staff more so than night staff) Great location, walkable to the river and downtown nightlife. Overall nice, but not mind blowing. I would say overpriced but we were there on a weekend where there were two major concerts and several conventions so I think

Hotel was clean and the room is big . Bed was good too and pillow is nice

Location was perfect. Parking was easy. Hotel staff were wonderful.

This room was available on very short notice, after another hotel was found to be very dirty. They were nice upon checkin. We were in town for a Kpop concert and they had a Kpop pop-up store just off the lobby, which my daughter was THRILLED about. Valet was great and most importantly, the room was clean!!! The warm cookies they provide are a nice touch, they also have a couple kinds of infused water in the lobby, which was nice coming back late from a concert.
