The hotel was clean and is in a really good location. Joe’s pizza, along with a couple more restaurants (burger, bagels and coffee shops) are just around the corner. It is also really close to the subway which makes traveling convenient. I loved how it was just a couple stops to Chinatown as the food there is also amazing. Being close to wall street, we were able to see the façade of the NYSE and walk to the hotel where the film John Wick was shot. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, shout out to the front desk lady (I regret not asking for her name) who was so understanding and gave us a 30-minute extension for check-out. The only thing I wish they had was a refrigerator or a microwave. I understand the space is limited. I also wish they would have a working ice machine lol. When we went, the fitness area was also closed until further notice. We typically don’t use it anyway lol but I just think it’s worth mentioning for folks who like to use it. Overall would stay again and would recommend! Also try the mango date latte from Matto coffee and the lox bagel from Apollo!

Parking was off site and kind of a pain, but our car was ready when we asked for it. Room was clean, in need of remodel. Staff really helpful and pleasant. Quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby. Free coffee and muffins in the morning in the lobby. Walking distance to SoHo, WTC and more.

This hotel needs some serious updating and cleaning. The girl at the front desk was very unfriendly when checking in. You can hear EVERYTHING (we were on the second floor). The ice machine was broken, the restaurant was closed, but they did give you a bottle of water (limit 2 per room).

Room was small, but this is expected of NYC hotels at this price point. Gym was very small - only 2 machines - but did have a water fountain for guest use. Basement had public bathrooms, though these were sometimes locked. Room smelt slightly damp, but was clean and air conditioning worked well. Bedsheets were changed every other day, and towels restocked daily. Bathroom was clean, though small. Elevator wait was minimal, and stairs lead directly to the lobby, so both options were open. Stair use may be less accessible from higher floors (we stayed in the 4th), but we used it to get to the roof a few times and had no issues. There is no option for hotel-provided breakfast, but there are multiple alternatives close by. It’s a short walk to nearby attractions, like the world trade centre or the 9/11 memorial museum, as well as to a large subway station, where you can catch all major lines. There are also closer stations that service one or two lines each.

Kind of a sh*thole, to be honest. Carpet worn down, the bathroom door was all moldy and gross, the ice machine was broken, and the TVs have no way to watch external streaming or gaming devices (and the desk clerk was super-rude when I asked about it). It's the cheapest option in the area, but boy oh boy do you get what you paid for.

Cleanliness of room can be better, the towels had hair and a lot lint when you shake it. The bed sheet has strands of hair here and there and some faded stains but still visible when you look. The bathroom shower water pressure was really weak and water from the shower head was not warm. My main complaint is the snack that they said they provide in the morning in lieu of the breakfast because the restaurant is under construction. They said they'll have some small pastry and warm drinks (coffee and warm water for tea and hot cocoa) until 9am. We went down to the lobby at around 8:45, and the coffee and water were both empty. When other guests also inquired about it, the employees (on both days of my stay) just dismissed the inquiry and said "it's only 10 minutes till 9". Seriously, if they don't want to provide those amenities, they don't have to claim that they do when they don't keep things in stock for their guests until the time they said they'll have the drinks and pastry out. 8:45am is not 9am. Their service attitude is why I'm only giving them a two stars.

Plus - larger rooms than expected, close to Fulton St subway station, close to a lot of places (stores, Pizza, bagels, coffee, etc.) Staff helped us to check in earlier than our reservation when we arrived a lot earlier than expected. Other notes - rooms did have a mildew smell, water damage in the bathroom, no security in the lobby.

The best thing about this hotel was the location and proximity to ground zero which is where we wanted to be. Walkable and easy access to prime Wall St. locations. But the room smelled like old wet carpet. The Carpet by the AC and bathroom area was filthy. No one made our room or provided additional toilet paper. The room was extremely tight and so was the lobby area. But I could've overlooked the size if it wasn't for the smelly dirty carpet. Carpet should be replaced altogether I'm sure it's beyond cleaning and deodorizing. I would not stay here again and don't recommend.

Staff were lovely, always someone to welcome you in. Breakfast bars and sweet treats in reception all at all times, a great touch. Room were not well maintained - carpet needed a vacuum, pillows absolutely dreadful but were described as firm, they were very soft and very flat. Bits of black mould in the bathroom. No where to store luggage as the room was so small (expected for nyc). Overall, a good place to stay if just looking to bed down for the night, no frills, very bog standard. Location was great for the subway, 9/11 memorial, oculus and WTC.

My room was humid and muggy. The AC was so loud I couldn’t sleep. The hotel is dated. Walking through the halls felt like walking through a prison. The vending machines are on the second floor only, shoved in a small and dirty room next to the housekeeping facilities. The hotel just felt dirty. I didn’t want to walk around my room without shoes on. Small crowded lobby, rickety elevators…not a pleasant experience overall. Joke’s on me because it wasn’t even cheap.

The A/C struggles to push any air out of it, the bathroom fan did not work what soever which seems like that would be essential seeing how most NYC rooms are so small. The Room just felt "Moist". No refrigerator in the hotel and 1 vending machine on the 2nd floor. If your lucky, you might get a lid to your ice bucket. Also No dining was available in the hotel during out stay.

This hotel's location is great for exploring lower Manhattan. Beware, it's hard for car services and Uber to find. It is cramped inside (lobby, rooms, halls). Also, the electrical needs attention (loose outlets, non-operational bathroom fans). I will say that the staff is very nice and very helpful.

The tv did not work for all three nights even though it was reported the 1st night. The shower curtain did not fit well to the shower so everytime the bathroom floor flooded. The bathroom door could not open past the toilet. There were never cups or sugar creamers to use with in Room coffee maker.

Shocked! Worst experience ever in an hotel. My wife and I were verbally attacked and threatened by one of the persons working in the lobby when we were about to check out. I almost was about to call 911, all started when I asked for a printed invoice and she started yelling aggressively that she didn’t have any other invoice apart from the taxes document and literally said that it was her last day there and that she didn’t care (using other words) if a denounce her or make a complaint. I also said I was going to talk to the owner or property management, again she insulted me and said that nobody else was there. Worst experience in my life, we had to run out of the complex. I demand a refund and urgent response from the property.

It was a terrible check-in. The check-in was at 3 or 4 so we went just after that time to check in and get all ready to get some dinner but when we arrived there were 4 families sitting in a compact room because there were no rooms ready yet. The two ladies at the front desk were funny so they kept us in a good mood. But after reflecting on how long we waiting for the cleaning staff to get our rooms ready, when the check in time has now past was really unacceptable. Given you are paying a high price point to stay here, and for alot of the people the time is limited and we waisted like 40 mins for a room AFTER CHECK-IN TIME.

My stay at this property was extremely disappointing. The check-in was a disaster, as the room I received was completely different from what I have been described. by a central reservation person I contacted prior to booking through Expedia who confirmed for a room with a king bed and a sofa bed where I was given a standard room with a single king bed, leaving two adults to share it for four nights. The front desk staff was confrontational and dismissive, insisting the mistake was not their fault. The issues continued throughout my stay. The hotel was out of basic amenities like coffee and creamer. On my last night, I was woken up at 2 a.m. by excessive noise from the room next door. I had to call the front desk twice before someone came up to attend. The noise persisted throughout the whole night. I would not recommend this property to anyone given my experience.

I had reserved two rooms with two beds and hotel only had one room available. They did nothing to accommodate our stay and said the problems was with hotels.com. I chatted with hotels.com which is very frustrating to do and they did nothing to accommodate us either. I am never using hotels.com ever again.

Pleasantly surprised. Staff very nice. Very convenient to walk to Wall Street 5 min. Staten Island Ferry 10 min (you can see Statue of Liberty on free ferry), 911 memorial 12 min walk. Lots of food options. Dunkin Donuts right next door. I highly recommend staying here. Room 905 has a spacious balcony all to yourselves.

This hotel is a hidden gem. An excellent value in the financial district with easy access to so many subway lines you can quickly get anywhere. Rooms are smallish but comfortable. Great beds. Really a great value.

The room was very good for NYC. Clean. Space on both sides of the bed. The staff, especially Antonio, were very helpful. The free breakfast of okay muffins and coffee was disappointing and is only available for a short time. They ran out of caffeinated coffee for the Keurig machine in the rooms. The gym is tiny. Location is great. The price was right. I would recommend

Only stayed one night. Expensive but as it was a public holiday weekend I somewhat expected that. However, the hotel charged a ‘destination fee’ on arrival which I was not told about in advance. The restaurant was also being renovated, which meant no breakfast service. All that was available was a very small selection of pastries and coffee in the tiny reception area. Only room for two people to sit, so I had to go outside for breakfast. Disappointing and not good value for the price I paid. I stayed in two other holiday inns during my trip to NYC/NJ and the others were much better.
