Hotel isn't quiet, you will hear everything. Room smels because of unclean air condition. We found a dirty sock as we open the window. TV was broken a little - weird strips on the screen. Trough the glass of coffe you can see Venetian arsenal (from the hotel). Staff is very kind, always greet first and helpful. Speak good english. Parking lot was nice (according our SUV car). TV with HDMI and android system. Internet was stable. Towels and bed was clean, in the room is antimosquito electric device.

Wonderful small hotel in a very quiet neighborhood. Easy transportation to Venice and the airport. They have their own restaurant nearby, which was good. Breakfast was very plentiful. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Wir sind als Familie mit kleinen Kindern für zwei Nächte im Hotel gewesen und hatten das Familienzimmer. Es war eine perfekte Lösung für uns, weil wir genügend Platz und zwei Badezimmer hatten und sogar einen Balkon. Der Empfang beim Check-In war sehr freundlich, wir haben tolle Ausflugstipps bekommen und durch die gute Lage waren wir in weniger als einer halben Stunde mit der Tram auf der Insel. In der gleichen Straße hat das Hotel noch ein Restaurant, das auch sehr leckere Speisen anbietet, und es gibt einen Supermarkt an der Ecke. Wir waren begeistert und werden definitiv wiederkommen, wenn wir wieder nach Venedig fahren.

Très belle nuit passée dans cet hôtel. Nous avons passé la nuit avant d’aller à Venise et c’était très bien même suffisant. Deux grands lits dans la chambre pas trop de place pour circuler avec deux valises mais nickel accueil très agréable et notre voiture en sécurité pour la nuit pour la somme de 6€ ^_^ Je vous conseille cet hôtel les yeux fermés :) Ils nous ont conseillés un restaurant dans la rue pour le soir qui été très bon je vous le recommande également

Very clean room, helpful and pleasant staff, near the tram and bus stops, quiet area. Not so many facilities in the room, just basics, they could have a few more options for breakfast (good price though with 10€ per person). If you don't find a place to stay in Venice Centre I would strongly recommended it.

Schönes gepflegtes Zimmer vor Venedig gelagert. Venedig ist gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Von der Frühstückauswahl waren wir positiv überrascht. Gern wieder.

Le personnel de l'hotel et notamment de la réception est tres agréable. Ils ont repondu a toutes mes questions et toujours avec le sourire. La chambre etait propre et relativement confortable.Petit bémol pour l'insonorisation qui n'est vraiment pas terrible. Je pouvais entendre mes voisins parler avec la porte fermée. Mais rapport qualité-prix je vous le recommande

La gentillesse du personnel et la propreté de la chambre sont très appréciables. Même s'il n'est pas de grande qualité, le petit-déjeuner est varié. Petit hic pour le frigo dans la chambre, qui faisait beaucoup de bruit quand il se mettait en route. Nous ne l'utilisions pas, donc nous l'avons débranché. L'emplacement est top, à 3 minutes du tram pour Venise.

The room was cramped. The shower leaked and was tiny. We asked for reservations at their restaurant, they did not make the reservation, so we had to sit outside. It was cold and windy. There was a carnival a few blocks away and the noise was bad inside the room. The receptionist gave us bad information about boarding the train. Thankfully, we didn't follow his advice. The hotel was convenient to the tram into Venice and train station.

We really enjoyed our two nights here! The price was very reasonable for the room. The shower was small by north american standards but the bed was awesome. We were in a "double" and it comfortably fit 2 people. Room was clean, the street and hotel were both very quiet. If you enjoy pastries or espresso I strongly recommend the breakfast, was totally worth it!

The check in host was extremely rude. We know we had to wait till 3pm to check in before we arrived but he was still extremely rude when we arrived early to drop off our bags. Our flight landed at 9am so we were tired and was tough to wait till 3pm to check in. He purposely ignored us and tried to start an argument when we asked about checking in early. He told us angrily “you have the information” just no empathy or good customer service. Then when we used the restroom as we were waiting for the room the cleaning woman yelled at me in Italian to close the door or something. The staff was Just not welcoming at all. Once in the room the a/c was very slow. The fan was broken so it didn’t blow much. Barely cooled. It had one speed and took forever to cool. The fridge leaked and also didn’t get cold. The tv had an antenna only. It only had what looked like local channels and had no HDMI port so we couldn’t even plug in a fire stick or anything. The WiFi was extremely slow and kept disconnecting. The “full” size bed was essentially a twin and maybe a single pushed together. It was very low to the ground and the seem between the mattress was uncomfortable. The mattress was not long enough and our legs hung off the end of the bed. We are both under 6 feet tall. The bathroom was nice but the room was so small that our luggage didn’t really fit. They had to remain standing up in the corner and we had to move them around when we left the room. There was a rotary phone in the room.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit alten Bad. War sehr sauber, und funktionell. Das Wasser war immer schön warm und die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Fenster konnte man gut abdunkeln und es gab einen Kühlschrank. Um Venedig zu besuchen, ist das Hotel perfekt, wegen der super Anbindung.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was fine and fitted our requirements. Very clean room and hotel. Room had a fridge which was useful. Shower was fitted the wrong side of the bath which meant there was not a lot of room and water went everywhere. 5 minute walk to the tram, shop near the tram sells tickets, 5 stops from the heart of venice. Glad we stayed out of the way a bit. The amount of tourists we saw wheeling suitcases up and down stairs trying to find their accomodation.

This B&B was on the mainland and well connected to the island via streetcar/tram. Would recommend leaving early to reach the train station or book a taxi ahead of time. The trams can be very packed and it may not be possible to get on with luggage from the hotel location. The hotel itself was very cozy and the room/property was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and room had air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. Just the placement of the toilet was a bit tight. But otherwise we loved our stay here. The staff was courteous and respectful. We happened to reach the hotel way before check in time and it so happened that our room was cleaned and ready for us. We were able to check-in early as well. Really appreciated some downtime before we started exploring Venice.

The “full” size bed was essentially a twin and maybe a single pushed together. It was very low to the ground and the seem between the mattress was uncomfortable. The mattress was not long enough and our legs hung off the end of the bed. We are both under 6 feet tall. The bathroom was nice but the room was so small that our luggage didn’t really fit. They had to remain standing up in the corner and we had to move them around when we left the room. There was a rotary phone in the room.
The check in host was extremely rude. We know we had to wait till 3pm to check in before we arrived but he was still extremely rude when we arrived early to drop off our bags. Our flight landed at 9am so we were tired and was tough to wait till 3pm to check in. He purposely ignored us and tried to start an argument when we asked about checking in early. He told us angrily “you have the information” just no empathy or good customer service. Then when we used the restroom as we were waiting for the room the cleaning woman yelled at me in Italian to close the door or something. The staff was Just not welcoming at all. Once in the room the a/c was very slow. The fan was broken so it didn’t blow much. Barely cooled. It had one speed and took forever to cool. The fridge leaked and also didn’t get cold. The tv had an antenna only. It only had what looked like local channels and had no HDMI port so we couldn’t even plug in a fire stick or anything. The WiFi was extremely slow and kept disconnecting. Alex and all the staff ( including his mom) were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is quickly evident that they take pride in caring for their place and will do anything to help you enjoy staying with them. The location is excellent! An inexpensive 15 minute tram ride that puts you into the heart of Venice is a block away. Thank you for a great stay Alex!

The staff was very helpful. They let us store our luggage in a storage room until we were able to check in (early arrival). They gave good information with transportation options . They were very accommodating with breakfast as we also had an early flight.

The gentleman who worked in the evening was very nice, but the man who worked the desk during the day was unbelievably rude. We had exchanged messages prior to our arrival to confirm that we could store our belongings prior to check in. When we arrived he answered the door and greeted us with "What?". Not hello, not how can I help you?... Just a loud "What?". He was also one of those men who was much politer to my male partner than he was to me, which we both noticed. Honestly don\'t know how this guy is in hospitality. The room itself was okay, but not great. And the area the hotel was in was nothing to write home about. There is a grocery nearby, but not much else. It is close to the tram to Venice, so convenient for that. I had stayed in Mestre once before many years ago and had a much nicer experience. Will not be returning to della rose and would not recommend.

Best staff ever. Basically mapped out my route for me as a suggestion so I can maximize my short trip. They also advise you on which public transportation cards would be best and how to get back and forth from the hotel to main Venezia.. it’s a short 4 minutes walk to the tram and tickets are at a nearby tobacco shop 1 minute from that tram stop. A restaurant, bar and grocery store is also within a 5 minute walk distance from the hotel which is incredibly convenient. Only tip is they are serious about their siesta culture and everything in mainland except for trams that come every 10 mins and buses will close from 12:30pm to about 3-4pm. Hotel rooms were clean and the AC works well.. especially important in the hot summer months.

Very clean room, helpful and pleasant staff, near the tram and bus stops, quiet area. Not so many facilities in the room, just basics, they could have a few more options for breakfast (good price though with 10€ per person). If you don't find a place to stay in Venice Centre I would strongly recommended it.

La gentillesse du personnel et la propreté de la chambre sont très appréciables. Même s'il n'est pas de grande qualité, le petit-déjeuner est varié. Petit hic pour le frigo dans la chambre, qui faisait beaucoup de bruit quand il se mettait en route. Nous ne l'utilisions pas, donc nous l'avons débranché. L'emplacement est top, à 3 minutes du tram pour Venise.

This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed. Alex, the front desk guy, was super helpful and professional. He booked taxi, trips around Venice for us, and gave valuable advices to protect ourselves. His mother runs the included breakfast flawlessly with fresh fruit and pastry, never allowed any item to run empty. The rooms (4 for 8 of us) were spotless and roomy. The location is central, close to an excellent restaurant with great food (I loved the seafood spaghetti ) and surprisingly low priced compared to the USA. Love every thing about this hotel. Bus is a short walk from the hotel. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Breakfast was very good and check in was smooth. This location was very good for us arriving as a group of travellers at different times and planning to move on to island of Venice the next day. Transport to Venice was very close, east and inexpensive.

Easy and helpful staff. I, myself had q delayed flight and chatted with them, they stayed at work to let me in 2,5h after closing. Very generous. The room I had has AC, looked clean and was comfortable. Staff was a bit irritable/impatient in the morning but overall it was a good stay. I was there 1 night.
