We had to move rooms due a pretty disgusting stain on the inside of the bed. Very disappointing for the extortionate fee we had been charged. Will not be using again!

The room was fine - very basic, but as expected. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The area outside the hotel ( in the airport terminal) was alive with rats running around the floor!

Hotell hade många tillfälliga brister. Wi-Fi funkade inte Tv hade bara en kanalen och på hindu inga översättning. Toaletts tvättstället var stock , duschen avloppet var stockade. Duschen blev full av vatten när jag duschade. Det låter mycket illa också. De lovat kompensation med jag har inte fått något. Jag kräver pengarna tillbaka!!

Het is een transithotel, bevindt zich in Lounge 2 in de transitzone van de luchthaven Schiphol Airport. Prima ontvangst en uitchecken was vlot en aardige medewerker. Het hotel ligt midden Kamer is een ‘cabine’, met wc en douche achter een glazen wand, het was erg klein en ook behoorlijk benauwd vanwege weinig verlichting. Thermostaat was ingesteld op 18C maar het bleef erg warm. Voor wat ze bieden is het aan de duurde kant. De badkamer was niet echt schoon, water liep slecht weg en föhn en een badmatje ontbraken. Koffie en thee was inbegrepen en aan de balie op te halen. Koffers konden niet mee in de cabine omdat er geen plaats was. Die hebben we voor 9 euro per stuk afgegeven bij de bagageopslag, deze is 24 uur per dag open. Ons vertrek de volgende ochtend was vroeg, omdat we weer opnieuw door de douane moesten zijn we een uur vroeger opgestaan. Concept is aardig, puntjes op de I ontbraken. Prijs voor 2 personen was 180 euro voor 5 uurtjes slapen. We boekten deze overnachting omdat we gestrand waren op Schiphol vanwege onze geannuleerde vlucht, voor een paar € meer slaap je in het Mercure ook achter de douane, maar daar was geen plek.

Mixed experience. Great location in terminal. Staff fine. Room finishings and carpets worn. Door would not lock from outside and was easy to force open. Water tepid but not hot. Drain problem so shower flooded bathroom floor. Sheet and undersheet not fitted properly so woke up laying on mattress. With more time I would have cleared passport control and gone for a proper hotel outside, but okay for a few hours.

Smelly and noisy. The room (and corridor outside) smelled of drains. There was a n extractor fan on constantly that clearly had a problem as it kept making a clunking sound, and anytime I used the sink or shower there was a really loud clanking noise coming from there too. Also the TV or remote didn’t work. The only plus was its location. Really easy to find and very close to the restaurants for dinner and breakfast.

On the plus side this hotel is within the airport so was very handy since I had an early morning flight as I was able to go through passport control and security the night before. However the room was really small and felt like how I imagine being in prison would be like. The day after when I was back in my own bed I woke up a few times having had a nightmare and felt overwhelmed by how big my room was. I think this was partly caused by how confined the space was. I hope I never have to use this hotel again (I did on this occasion as I missed my connection) but if I did I would book a bigger room.

Rooms are TINY, very stuffy. Light and AC controls in room are too funky - hard to understand. AC does not work easily - staff has to start it from their control room. Yotel is in the Security area - so if you have large checked baggage, it is a big hassle. These bags will have to be put in some outside locker room.

Good concept and location airside at Schiphol. Room was fine and clean, except the aircon is very noisy and impossible to turn off, resulting in little sleep. A shame.

Plumbing is an issue. No hot water for shower after check in, although was available in the morning. Pipes are noisy with squealing after shower was off. Decent room for layover purposes.

The hotel never answered any of my email questions about the nature of the hotel. Terrible service, don’t book here! I ended up finding out it was on the other side of security. Staff don’t answer numerous messages. Then they charged me double the advertised rate.

The receptionist was missing when I arrived at 2315 and needed my room to get an early flight the next day. She arrived back at 2348 and pretended it wasnt her who had left a sticky note on the counter saying she would return 2330-0000 Not impressed

I arrived very late (after midnight) staff was lovely and checked me in quickly. Room was a bit crampped but fully functional. Took a while to find control panel for lights which was on the side of the bed but was easy to understand. Bathroom and shower area again is snug but was clean and tidy. As long as you know your in a pod with not a huge amount of pace you'll be fine

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was on the air side of the airport as well as next to a food court area which was convenient. It was smaller than other Yotel Hotels which I have stayed at.

Although a last minute booking it was possible to get a room in this hotel in the transit area of Schipol Airport, and it provided a great option while waiting to transfer to another flight. The staff were friendly, and the room while basic had all the amenities needed for a short stay. The shops and restaurants in the airport close quite early making access to refreshments challenging overnight.

These units should never be rented to people outside the airport. The hotel is inside the international terminal with its check-in and security checks, and is intended and convenient only for arriving international travelers. Hardly anyone outside the international terminal knows about it.

A perfect way to spend an overnight layover without having to leave the airport. I had a 15h layover in Amsterdam overnight so I didn't want to go through the effort of leaving security and then dealing with morning incoming people at security and this hotel offered the perfect option to get a ln actual good night of sleep while traveling. My one complaint that isn't even really a complaint is check out was 7am which was a wee bit early (but I maybe could have asked for different) I'd definitely stay in this hotel again

Very overpriced for a night in a pod. It should be made very clear that this facility is on airside! I went all through the airport to get out through customs - just to realise that I had to go back through security again to get to the “hotel”. Definately not a type of hotel I will ever use again.

Very well located in Schiphol. Small room but with exactly what is needed for one night. When in the hotel you can reach all D, E, F gates without leaving the airside lounge 2 and 3. Very convenient.

To get to the hotel you have to go through security which was eventually fine but it took over an hour of walking around asking different airport staff where the hotel was and being pointed in constantly the wrong direction until finally finding someone who knew where it was Also the McDonald’s and other food places near Yotel close quite early and don’t open early so couldn’t get food when arriving or leaving. Very expensive for what it is.

I wouldn’t know. I couldn’t find it I was told it was outside the airport but no one in the airport could tell me how to get there. As a 70 year old woman traveling alone I chose not to go wandering at 11pm.

Unique choice if you have an early flight from Schiphol and will pay the premium to avoid the anxiety of needing to travel to the airport and wait at security and immigration. Keep in mind that the single bed rooms are Japanese-style capsule rooms. Don't expect to spend more than the minimal amount of time in your room. If you need a "regular" hotel, suggest getting something on the airport perimeter and take a shuttle to the airport. Room was clean but nothing fancy. Since it is after security, there are plenty of dining and shopping options at the airport.

This was very convenient, as you don’t have to leave the airport, and shops and food areas are very close. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Only drawback…the rooms are really small, and the checkout is very early. Just a place to get a bit of sleep while in transit.
