Facility includes Table Shuffleboard (a huge plus), Foosball, and Outdoor Chess (with 1-2 foot high pieces), plus a swimming pool. I was here on business, but this hotel would work on a vacation w/ or w/o kids!

Great hotel, though it seems a bit dated. The pool was fantastic. Breakfast was also good. The only thing we missed was the lack of stairs; we personally found it less convenient to rely on the elevator. Plenty of food, drink, and shopping options are available nearby. Within a 30 minute drive you will be at the beaches of Clearwater and St. Petersburg. Lots of parking space.

The property is being renovated in some areas. There was a small amount of mold in the shower. When the room is refreshed, water wasn’t replaced. I assume that is policy. I’m sure the cost of putting water in the rooms each day or the days the room are refreshed. I loved the evening entertainment! It was great and appealed to all genres. The pool and outdoor area are very nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again when traveling to Tampa.

The property was so nice, not to mention the staff. They allowed us to request transportation to and from the airport and also within 3 miles from the hotel. So we were able to get a ride to the local malls for shopping and to local events without having to rent a car. The staff was always so nice in helping out with what ever our requests were. Thank you.

The elevator situation was a nightmare! 3 elevators and only one worked…with a ring doorbell. Not making that up. Had to stand in line at 1:00am trying to get back to my room. Ridiculous!!

It was a okay stay. Charged $18/day for parking and the parking lot was filled each night we were there. We drove around several times until we finally made the choice to just park on the side and move the car in the am. Also only one elevator works. You have to press a ring camera bell and there’s a staff member inside operating it.

This is a beautiful property that is well maintained with a fewat staff in all areas i stayed here with my grandson last weekend and they didnt disappoint. That outside bar and seating around pool is amazing and my room and view was clean and cozy. My adult children loved the bar area and the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly I would stay again in a heartbeat

I loved everything about this stay but the parking. Even with a booking, there’s hardly any parking spaces in the back and if there is one, you can’t get your car in between the spaces. We ended up having to park in valet which the staff were super friendly about it.

Stayed 6 nights. The hotel rooms are peaceful and very clean allowing for a good night sleep. The pool area is also lively for a little fun with a poolside bar. Very clean and in a great area. The hotel staff are amazing which made the stay even better. This will be my go to hotel. Single female traveler felt very safe the whole time.

first and last time I would stay here. Hallways are dark and why has the elevators been broken since March. Then, it’s operated by a ring camera which is so unhinged. When you get to the room they are smaller than the pictures/advertisement. There’s no freshing feeling like you’re on vacation. There’s a smell of musty and sewerage when you flush the toilet. The shower-head and handles weren’t cleaned. The walls were like malting and thin. We could hear everything in the hallway. Lastly, parking. there were events at the hotel and parking was very limited for actual hotel guest. I really like the feel and vibe from TikTok, however, should’ve listened to the previous reviews.

This property wasn't what I expected especially for the price. It was old dusty and smelled musty. The elevators were very old with staff members inside operating for the guess. The room wasn’t very clean, and we had dried blood on shower gel bottom. I advised staff they sent someone in to replace it. We used the shuttle bus and the driver was smoking a cigarette while driving us!!! I wouldn’t stay on this property again.

The hotel is ideally situated near the airport. The lobby is modern and has a bar and good restaurant. We reported the broken lamp as soon as we arrived but nothing was done about it. The bathroom sink over flow was filthy and not cleaned once; similarly with the fridge, the side of it was dirty and the floor not hoovered.

Our stay was just OK. The room was small and clean and the bed was comfy. The service at the restaurant and pool bar was extremely slow and a 20% gratuity was automatically included in everything. When people know they'll get tipped regardless of quality of service, they tend to slack off and it seems that's what happened here. The front desk staff was OK. Not super friendly but efficient. I don’t think we'd stay here again.

Very disappointing stay. The front desk staff was unfriendly, the room for four people was tiny and nothing like the pictures, and we had to pay extra for an upgrade. Even then, the Wi-Fi never worked all weekend and the smart TVs were useless. Charging $1 for water bottles is absurd for a hotel in this price range. On the last night, loud music from the pool continued after midnight and was never turned off despite my complaint. I will never stay here again and do not recommend it. The only positive was the housekeeping staff, who were kind and helpful.

It did the job; however, the images are a bit misleading. It looks like it's still in the process of renovation. Only a single elevator worked and it was staffed 24/7 by some poor person. We mostly took the stairs. Many of the outlets in our room did not work. The TV also would not turn on for some reason. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise, the AC was cold and the beds were clean and comfortable. Next time, however, I'll opt for a different stay.

2 of the 3 elevators are inoperable making accessing the room floors slow and inconsistent. Rooms have low ceilings and small windows, making them claustrophobic. the AC is right next to the bed so when it kicks in, its startling to sleep next to it. Clearly an old building that has been touched up over the years but probably needs to be demolished and re-built. no complaints about cleanliness.

Visually, the hotel is really nice! I loved the style/decor throughout and I thought the room was really nice, I liked the unique design aspects. The beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet at night. We felt it was pretty cold in the room but we had full control of the thermostat so it wasnt an issue. I only had 2 small "complaints". I felt that the room was very dim without a lot of bright lights. It wasn't an issue for us, but I could see some people not liking that. There was also very little space at the bathroom sink/mirror, so given the minimal lighting it could be an issue for some if several people need to get ready/do hair and makeup at the same time. The shower door is clear glass so keep that in mind if you prefer shower privacy, but there is a barn door to close off the shower and toliet area. The staff was so nice and attentive. We knew at booking that the elevators were out from hurricane damage, but but I also got a text a few days before to confirm that. At check-in, our room on a lower floor wasn't ready, but they offered an immediate room at a higher floor which we gladly took since it was early in the morning and we were tired. We always found a parking spot no matter what time we got back to our room. There are several restaurants nearby and a couple gas stations and Publix. Overall we were happy and would stay there again, ideally once we have more time to enjoy the pool area!

The service at front desk was terrible from we reach. At one point we had an emergency and was stuck out our room because the door battery went dead. We waited over half hour for assistance. The wait was an issue but it was more the nonchalance from the staff regarding my inconvenience. They offered nothing. The gentlemen that did finally help was very helpful.

The guy who helped me check in was extremely rude. I think he only said four things to me in total: “En?” (like a grunt), “Your name,” “Your card,” and another “En” when he handed me the room key. He had no smile on his face and looked completely dismissive and sarcastic the whole time.

The Hotel was clean. The restaurant food, and the pool bar menu was very good. The room was clean and spacious. I was able to get an early check-in. The hotel staff was very accommodating and checked in on me throughout my stay… I would certainly stay there again if I’m in the Tampa area.

I just believe the advertisements for this establishment were a bit misleading. Three restaurants? Just one. Two separate bars. Library? Nope. Convenience store? Some tums and a couple bottles of Gatorade on a shelf essentially. That being said - the staff was wonderful! Friendly, helpful, kind - over and above! The owners and management of this property should be proud of their employees! Top notch team !

This was our 3rd time staying at Hotel Alba while in Tampa. As usual, staff was helpful and very friendly. Rooms are very nice and clean too! Pool is perfect, pool bar is awesome and breakfast buffet hit the spot. We’ll be back again next year!

The main elevators aren't working because of the hurricane and are waiting for repairs. They have a staff member manning the service elevator for your use. The restaurant was excellent with good service and food. The hotel staff were wonderful and very helpful.
