The swimming pool temperature was very cold. They are on solar heating as i was told but could not last very long in the pool. big let down for the kids. As this was the main reason we decided to stay in this hotel

We liked our stay here. Overall the property is well maintained, our room was nice, spacious and clean. The only drawback was that our room was on first floor accessed via wooden stairs. So with heavy luggage it is a slight challenge, but we liked our room on first floor as it had super high truss ceiling and overlooked a courtyard with balcony. There is plenty of parking available near each room so it is very accessible. Only thing is that property is a few minutes drive away from main wharf area.

We usually choose the Deluxe rooms, which are the newest rooms and are at the back of the property. They are quiet and their outlook is into the internal garden. The upper level rooms have the best view. We chose the Scenic, as it has the best facilities of any hotel in Paihia. It is on the outskirts of town, but is just a very short walk into the town centre.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is simple and clean. Lots of rooms but it didn't feel too busy. Pool and lawn games were a nice way to spend the afternoon. It's a little bit of a walk to the majority of the restaurants, but easily doable. There is also an onsite restaurant (we didn't try it but there were quite a few people there).

It was a very well maintained property in matters of cleanliness. Rooms were made up daily and were refreshing. The property itself is a bit dated butnthat was perfectly alright. Walking distance to the town centre.

The property was well maintained and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The rooms provided all amenities mentioned on the site, so no surprises. Our unit (2 queens) was very roomy. Aside from the dated rooms, my only complaint has to do with noisy neighbors; we shared a door with them which made for less sound proofing. It was nothing a little white noise couldn't fix. Overall, we had a good experience and would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! Great facilities, everything was always kept clean and tidy, the pool and grounds were maintained beautifuly, and the food at the hotel restaurant was wonderful! Hotel was an easy walk into the main tourist area and marina. The manager Debbie was absolutely fantastic - cannot say enough about how kind and attentive she was to us, espcially to my elderly mother. We had an issue with the AC at the start of our stay and she came in person to check it out and bring maintenance people to fix the issue. She was also very sweet to my mom, actually running her into the main marina east day so that she wouldn't need to walk. All in all, cannot recommend this hotel and staff enough! We would love to return!

Dieses Hotel hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Eine sanfte Renovation der Tische und Stühle in den Zimmern und insbesondere auf den Balkonen ist angezeigt. Die Reinigung der Balkone ist schon länger nicht gemacht. Das Hotel hat definitiv keine 4 Sterne verdient. Superior Zimmer sind gross und Frühstücks Buffet ist in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Lage in Zentrumsnähe ist von Vorteil, alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar.

The property is surrounded by green, close enough to the beach that you can walk, but there is no view from your room. The property is bit old, and not very clean, we found the previous guest earings on the night stand. Rooms are small but with high ceiling, "neigbours" can be loud if they choose to chat sitting outside. Staff are helpful and very friendly.

The room was nice, although considering that it had a kitchenette I would have expected a couple of plates and bowls, as well as a cloth to wipe off the countertop. Carpet in our building hallway was in dire need of replacement.

The room was a good size. The shower pressure was good. It was close to town so everything was within walking distance. The pool was nice. Good options for dining. The walls were paper thin and you could hear EVERYTHING happening in the room next door. This made our stay very uncomfortable and unpleasant. We would not return to this hotel again due to the noise. We had three horrible nights with not much sleep.

The service here was outstanding from each person we interacted with. The location is convenient to the beach and to town yet quiet and peaceful. I recommend upgrading to the deluxe rooms. We stuck to the base room and would have enjoyed a garden view. The bathroom in our room was the only disappointment. It could use an update.

On the night of Matariki, we were staying at this hotel when some strangers started banging on our door in the middle of the night. We were terrified, and our child woke up crying. We couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. When we checked out and reported the incident to the management, they dismissed our concerns, saying that it was Matariki and that everyone in the area tends to be drunk and act strangely. We felt very unsafe during our stay.

Handy location as a venue for BOI Jazz N Blues Festival. Got a early check in which was great. We didn't spend much time in the room was clean N tidy. Comfy king bed. Good value breakfast.

Tolle Unterkunft zwei Minuten Fußweg vom Strand und dem Hafen entfernt. Viele Parkplätze. Zimmer sehr hübsch und modern eingerichtet. Service am Empfang freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten Frühstück inklusive gebucht, weil es am Hafen/Strand nur Lokale für Lunch und Dinner gibt. Aber das Frühstücksbuffet war leider nur und komplett auf Engländer ausgerichtet. Nur fettige Speisen, einige Marmeladen und Joghurt. Kein Käse, keine Wurst, kein frisches Obst. Ist okay. Das machen viele Hotels aber auch in Neuseeland besser.

Room was nice. However the tv only had 9 channels and the quality was absolutely awful probably 720p could also do with a small upgrade by adding a chrome cast. Showers were alright. If you’re taller than 6ft you’ll probably have an issue as the shower is fixed to the wall. Breakfast is a buffet but not the best one I’ve had. First day we arrived just an hour and 15min before the end of service and there was no hot food available. Only toast and cereal. There was a big queue for any hot food that came out. Second morning we came to breakfast at 6:30am. Meal options average. Hash browns. Tiny basic sausages, baked beans, “yolky” scrambled eggs, mushrooms, plain mini croissants. Pastries were good but there weren’t many. No smart tv options.
