The psrking out the back was tight. The frypan was buckled. The sliding door was hard to lock The room was clean and tidy The shower wss excellent. The dtaff were friendly snd helpful The laundry was great

Reception kindly accomodated my 1 hour late arrival after check-in closed. Neighbourhood was incredibly quiet. No heat pump. Small fan heater for early June was sufficient.

Quick overnight visit. Very helpful staff. Stairs to room were steep but nice gentleman helped with luggage. They have two washers and driers, which was a plus in my book. Easy walk to stores for supplies, Four Square has great chicken and fries. Fish and chips next door and a liquor store just round the corner. Couldn’t ask for more and price was cheap. Maybe needs some up dating but it served its purpose and I’d definitely use them again.

Situated in a quieter part of Paihia town centre was really lovely. Was easy to walk into town and you have everything around you. Only issue my partner and I experienced was the cleanliness and smell in our room. We had to air it out as it smelt like no one had been in it for weeks. We had to spray the room with our own fragrances to help. Room did have everything from cutlery, fans, iron ironing board and hairdryer. Tv had access to YouTube and Netflix. Shower and toilet were clean. Everything is a bit outdated but we weren’t bothered by that. Happy but I wouldn’t have high expectations when staying here.

Great warm welcome. Room well equipped and clean and presentable. We had only one night but could see there was much there we could have used if a longer stay. Goodnight sleep. Breakfast had lots on offer for a continental. Other guests were friendly too. Thank you Bounty Hotel

For the price of the accommodation and for the time that we spent inside, it was worth it. The queen bed wasnt all that comfortable for my 70 year old Aunty so we use the other doona as another layer. The curtains were falling off the hook and just some black mould in the bathroom showers, just a little care and touch up would of made it up to a standard as far as budget goes. Dont buy milk, supplied on arrival and plant out front could of done with some watering or changed out with the exposed plant. Across the road locals revved their trucks or cars about 9.30/10 for a few minutes but then a few voices but i would imagine in peak season, would here each other. Close proximity to wharf, town street/centre and had all the essentials for the bathroom and kitchen. The towel and bathroom layout was a nice, sweet touch. I would stay again for just short term.

Cannot understand good reviews, property is in need of serious maintenance both inside and out. Noise late at night and early morning as we were next to office, room lacked shelving in wardrobe, no mirror in bedroom, and had to ask for soap as none in bathroom. Fans dirty and rusty, cobwebs on walls and just absolute shock when you open the door, do not stay here... I have photos of all of the above.

Overall, this was a great place to stay. Location is terrific. Bed was comfortable. Loved having outdoor space (shared but still really nice to have). Having a kitchenette. Was great. Also big shoutout to the manager for being so kind as to allow a late checkout. Only downfalls: expensive laundry and the need to clean things like the ceiling fans and the skylight. I could hear the people on both sides of my unit talking. Very thin walls. Some of the furniture is very tired and dated and needs to be replaced. The bathroom needs to be painted. On a positive note the unit was very clean and the proximity to town and amenities is excellent.

Great property for the price. Fantastic position to get to the quay and shops. Really quiet. Stayed 2 nights. Great to have 2 rooms, kitchen area and lounge. Decor is dated but was expected based on price point. Could not get the oven to work but got by without it.

We had an issue with a security light right outside the unit which shone brightly in through the rather inadequate curtains and meant we would not be able to sleep. Phoned the afterhours office number but initially got a very offhand response from Paul Rowland the manager. However the owner come and covered the light. I went to the office to say thank you for what had been done but also ensure that it would stay in place for the second night of our stay. Mr Rowland was dimissive of the problem and said no other guests had complained. He also offered that he'd worked at a well known hotel and company in Auckland. Also covid and staff problems etc, he was in bed and would have to advise the owner. Nothing to do with the issue. However I do want to congratulate the woman owner who did the fix on the night and brought in some new curtains that fully covered the windows. Her service was excellent.

First time in Paihia, and wont be my last! Bounty motel was extremely affordable for the quality and service! I am a sales rep and spend a lot of time in hotels/motels. This was easily one of my favourite stays this year Thank you to the kind helpful staff and thank you for an amazing experience and stay

This motel is very nice, comfortable, has everything you need. Even a continental breakfast for $19.00 NZ dollars choices of cereal, toast, spreads, fresh and tinned fruit, fresh crossants,tea,coffee . Amazing owners and staff, i had a studio unit and it was roomy comfortable, clean,tidy, tv. Close to shops, eateries and tours all in a 15 minute walk. I will go back..
