We made a last-minute reservation here after a canceled flight. The airport shuttle was free and easy to access. The front desk staff was extremely helpful as we were not at all prepared for our stay. The guest room was beautiful and had a gigantic TV and a comfortable king bed. Everything including restroom/shower were immaculately clean. The restaurant and bar were great. Pay in advance for the breakfast via your Expedia reservation, for good savings.There is a small business center with complimentary computer access (20-minute limit at this time). To be honest we were a little anxious about what to expect in the LaGuardia area, but it was all good.

Shocked that parking is $40 for guests & breakfast if $20. Glad they had a restaurant although limited offering & only one server. Shuttle service to airport was great & safe availability was nice. It was hard to regulate the room temperature. We did not find a vending machine even tho the sign pointed to ice & vending.

We have found our NYC hotel. We always stay in Manhattan. This trip we opted to stay closer to the airport and family. Think we will take this option again and again. The hotel is a short shuttle or cab ride from the airport. It is not close to the subway - and we had to opt for a Uber for subway access. The rooms were well appointed and double the size of our usual Manhattan room. The hotel does not have a pool. It does have an airport shuttle - saving us $90 in cab fare! We enjoy the proximity to Mets Ballpark and Long Island City.

Nice hotel. Stayed for a short business trip. Really convenient to LaGuardia Airport. The restaurant downstairs has great food and drinks. They have a really nice gym as well. I would stay again.

From check in to check out everything was great. I just wish as a Bonvoy Member there was a 50% discount on over night parking instead of paying the full price of $40 per night.

Airport shuttle was easy to find. Check-in service was impeccable. I was cold and a WARM blanket was delivered to my room. It’s the little things. The room was spacious, remodeled, clean and comfortable. My only wish is that other guests were quieter, but that didn’t detract from my stay. If I didn’t have an early flight I would’ve checked out Ditmars. I would book here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to take critters home with you! Mosquitos infested, flying roches, soiled carpet in elevator and hallways.The air condition barely works. Hallway is full of humidity because no air condtion and it was 98 degrees outside! So before I checked in I checked the ratings and it said excellent I had an early morning flight so why not pay almost 400 bucks to be close to the airport. I woke up and turned the light on to be shocked of the amount of Mosquitos in the room then looked down and two roaches on the bed😡. I reported to mangement and said I will deal with this when I get home. My husband stayed a few hours longer and to think compensating my husband with a lousy 20 bucks for breakfast is compensation is delusional! Shame on this property!!! The proper compensation should have been a full or 1/2 refund. I have Elite status with Marriott and Expedia. For this incident to brushed off so lightly says this happens all the time. This property gets a 2 star rating only because the beautiful lady who checked us in was very nice other than that the room needs serious extermination.

I loved the service I received. I called for extra blankets and they were promptly delivered. The blankets were warm and smelled clean. The room was immaculate and slept very well The surrounding area is something the hotel cannot control since it is East Elmhurst but the Marriott is the beacon of excellence! Highly recommended!

For the cost of the hotel room I expected more. The lobby was nice when you came in but the rooms were horrible. It smelled sour in the room and it looked cheap for a Marriott. The cost per night for what you get it is not worth it. The rooms need to be updated if you are paying that much 5 minutes from La Guardia. We will not be staying here again.

WiFi is not free. The hotel is extremely outdated. I feel the overwhelming feeling of existential dread here. Other than that the bed is comfortable and the staff was lovely. Charging for WiFi is unheard of and dystopian. The Orbitz site wrongly said it was free. Restaurant and bar was pretty good.

Staff were unbelievably rude, unaccommodating, and inflexible. Never again do I want to give my business to a Marriott hotel if the standard of customer service is what I experienced here. I know they are a big chain and probably won’t care about one review, but there are plenty of other hotel chains with excellent staff.

One of the front desk staff was unfriendly and disrespectful. I should got her name. I arrived at hotel early on September 10th and just inquired about a possible early check in. She wanted no part of it and dealt with situation in a very disrespeftful manner. Totally unacceptable.

We were stranded in New York due to flight cancellations. We arrived at Marriott way before check in time. I wish I could remember the woman’s name that helped us. She was very helpful and accommodating. She let us check our luggage in and we were able to visit the restaurant while waiting. And we were able to check in early after a very long frustrating experience at the airport! She helped us again with our luggage.

We stayed 5 nights at the New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott, and this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. On our third night, we noticed the water in the bathtub was turning brown. Maintenance came around 9 p.m., confirmed the water was dirty, and moved us to another room — but that one only had a shower instead of a tub, which wasn’t what we booked. After complaining again, they gave us a third room with a tub, but the same issue happened — brown water. When I asked the manager what they’d do about the inconvenience, he hesitated and finally said, “I can give you one breakfast for your family, is that cool?” I accepted, but it felt like I had to ask instead of them taking initiative. The next morning we contacted Hotels.com, who issued a small credit but said Marriott refused to do anything further since they’d already given a free breakfast. We stayed but stopped using the tub entirely. We took photos of the brown water and towels we left in the tub as proof. For a hotel under the Marriott brand, this was extremely disappointing. Between the dirty water, multiple room changes, and lack of accountability from management, I can’t recommend this property to anyone.

The food was terrible and too large and expensive. No microwave in room, dirty microwave in 'store' area, and the restaurant food was poorly cooked and not suitable for the individual customer. I am not interested in staying at a Marriott anytime soon. We stayed in two Marriotts this trip and both were the same, rating and F in food preparation.
