Candlewood Suites Lafayette by IHG

Staff was friendly. The room was falling apart. Carpeting was pulled up and we kept tripping on it. Our stay was not peaceful due to a noisy party in the room next to us. They also had very smelly fast food that made our room reek as well. Not the hotels fault- just unfortunate for us. When we were returning to our room the front desk staff was folding sheets on the front desk and there was a huge pile on the office chair and dragging on the floor. That was so gross and unsanitary. I felt uneasy about sleeping in the sheets that night. That’s what I get for trying to find something affordable I suppose.

Clean room. Staff is great. Internet isn’t the greatest, but solid overall

There is no pool paid for a hotel with a pool. They do no breakfast either as stated

The room was very clean, we had a full kitchenette, and it was stocked appropriately. We were close to the interstate but we had the ac fan on most of the night which provided some good white noise to drown out and traffic noise. Very short stay but would have enjoyed all the amenities if we had time.
